Claims Of "Truth" From Foreign And Domestic Terrorists

The facts say the threat is understated, while Liberals say the threat is overstated ... "Islam is a peaceful religion", or "Don't be Islamicfobic", or "The threat is overstated". But the facts say, "No, Terror Is Not Overstated, But Understated". If you wanted to know the exact truth about the crisis of apathetic unconcern, in the face of Islamic Terrorism, here and abroad, who would you ask who knows the most about it? That's easy. You would ask the person who has every possible fragment and fact on the subject passing before his eyes every day, and whose duty it is to know the truth and keep the President and Congress informed. That person is the director of U.S. Homeland Security, John Kelly. So what would John Kelly tell you about the seriousness of the threat of Islamic Terror in the U.S?

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly on Friday (May 26) said the terror threat is worse than most realize, saying some people would "never leave the house" if they knew the truth.

“I was telling [Fox host] Steve [Doocy] on the way in here if he knew what I knew about terrorism, he’d never leave the house in the morning,” Kelly said on “Fox & Friends.”

He noted there were four major terror attacks in the last week — in England, Egypt, the Philippines, and Indonesia — "by generally the same groups."

Now, there is another half of Homeland Security's delegated responsibility to keep us safe. That is the threat of terrorism from some of our own citizens, who claim to love our country. John Kelly didn't bother to mention Radical Liberal, political terrorism. But, the Alerts USA organization does mention it.

Common Sense Commentary: It is a strange but telling human trait that those who get something for nothing soon forget who gave it. So if you are expecting the appreciation, of those you help, to last past tomorrow, give to a needy child who may never forget or to God who doesn't need it but will always remember you gave.

There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and American. During a break, one of the French engineers came back into the room saying, "Have you heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intend to do, bomb them?"

A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: "Our carriers have three hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many does France have?"

A U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included Admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies. At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of officers that included personnel from most of those countries.

Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, "Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking French?"

Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied, "Maybe it's because the Brit's, Canadians, Aussie's and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German."

My Memorial Day Is Of Those Who Died In "My War"

Common Sense Commentary: My Worst part of that war was a two-week battle, night and day, 30 to 40 below zero, in North Korea, just below Russian Siberia, near Manchuria, China. It was fought at the frozen Chosin Reservoir by the First Marine Division, a single Company of British Commandos and a contingent of Army soldiers plus a few South Korean soldiers, Navy Corpsmen (Marine medics) and airmen. Of 12,000 of us, we lost over 3000 KIA in that one 2 week battle. We who survived are known as the Frozen Chosin Few. 120,000 Chinese Communist soldiers surrounded our 12,000 ... of which there are only about 1,200 still living. My war ... of which the explosions still reverberate, the cold, hunger, weariness, and fear still debilitate, and the memories flare up within me ... after 67 years. Pitiful: Old Age Desperately Seeking Back Its Lost Youth

Common Sense Commentary: If there ever was a pitiful, lost cause, it is an old, wrinkled, faltering body, whose young mind hates old age and is miserably struggling to regain its youth, with no concern for gaining eternal life through faith in Christ. That is not only a lost cause but a wasted, lost life. Aging, in this world, is as inevitable as a passing day's sunset followed by night. That cannot be reversed, but what really matters is, not continuing life in this old body, forever, but sunrise in the morning with a new, sinless, eternally healthy, young and glorified body. Yes, I too will live as long as I possibly can in this one. It is not normal to want to die before God's time. But the moment I awaken in a glorified body and mind, I will surely say of this old, worn out one... "Good riddance". To me, nothing I can think of, short of going to hell, would be as undesirable as having to live forever or a thousand years, or even 150 years in an old fleshly, sin-inclined body. No thank you, Lord.

That said, it is important to keep the body we are now attached to, healthy as long as possible, to better serve our Lord. That, of course, requires eating right, sleeping well, enough exercise and thinking good thoughts. Actually, those good things can be overdone. One can eat too much good food, sleep too much, exercise too much, and even naively think well of evil as if everyone means well and there is never a time to fight. 

God's universe is perfectly balanced, as God, Himself is balanced on the pivot point of truth. Balance is essential in all things. So, Christians should moderate their excesses, control their appetites, 
and avoid extremes which are out of focus on absolute truth.

Toward that end, be content and function rightly in whatsoever situation you find yourself. As the Apostle Paul said "...  I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." Phil.4:11.
Being "content" does not mean remaining in a bad situation which you can change for the better. But, if you cannot change the situation, don't give up and quit or get depressed or discouraged with your lot in life ... but be content and at peace with God regardless of obstacles.  That also relates to one's age. Every age in life should be lived to the fullest and accepted as God's order of things. Whether it be childhood or old age. Since I am nearer 90 than 80, I can tell you that every age I lived had its positives and negatives, benefits and liabilities. Honestly, I would not trade my age to be a young man again. Yes, there are negatives with being old, but there are also positives which no other age had. I won't go into them, but believe me, I've been in them all ... except over 100. I would not go back, nor would I trade lives with anyone else.

So those of you younger than I, don't worry about getting old. It beats the alternative and, in many ways, it ain't half bad. However, I would like to have some new legs. These have a lifetime of abuse. RB

Socialism Works Until It Doesn't

Common Sense Commentary: Socialistic Communism works until it doesn't, which is when it runs out of other people's money and has to function on its own merits as a bad experiment. It always fights hysterically to stay in power, then, ultimately fails after it has destroyed a nation's foundation. RB

Communism is often viewed as a European and Asian phenomenon, but in the 20th century, it made a strong push into Africa as well.

Ethiopia’s struggle with communism emerged just as things were potentially looking up for the young nation.

After Haile Selassie died in prison in 1975, the Marxist faction of the revolution rose swiftly to power through the Provisional Military Administrative Council (PMAC), popularly known as the Derg, Led by the Marxist Colonel Mengistu Haile Mariam, the Derg reigned with Mengistu as leader for seventeen years, 1974-1991.

The Derg killed hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians during their reign from 1975-1987. The Red Terror of 1976-78, where they brutally cracked down on external and internal opposition through three waves of purging, became the lasting legacy of the communist junta’s rule. Two groups of student-led movements, the All-Ethiopia Socialist Movement (MEISON) and Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Party (EPRP), vied for power in the wake of the Emperor’s death, with both groups believing they could make a real change. Seeing an opportunity to add legitimacy to their rule, Mengistu and the Derg allied with MEISON, successfully creating a one-party Marxist/Leninist system. In addition to their ideological differences, MEISON and the EPRP were divided among ethnic lines – MEISON being primarily the majority-group Oromo while EPRP was made up of the smaller Amhara group – which led to the Derg/MEISON coalition labeling anyone associated with the EPRP or their members as counter-revolutionaries subject to imprisonment and even execution.

The ethnic divide made the suppression of the opposition even stronger and the crackdown more brutal, embodied in the chilling Derg slogan: “for every revolutionary killed, a thousand counter-revolutionaries executed.” More frightening than the promise on its face is how close the Derg may have come to actually accomplishing this during Mengistu’s reign. The struggle of the Ethiopian people against the Marxist regime mirrored the original Red Terror in Soviet Russia that occurred after the Bolsheviks seized power – conservative estimates place the number of Ethiopians killed under Mengistu’s rule at 500,000, with higher estimates up to 2,000,000.

My Common Sense Comment:
With all the ups and downs of Socialism, revolutions, overthrown governments, famine, drought, and lawlessness in general, Ethiopia is a hysterical basket case constantly in need of Russian aid, European aid and United Nations, aid. It is basically unable to take care of itself anymore and the stress is obvious upon the people of Ethiopia.  Beware of U.S. Socialists. They are wolves in sheeps' clothing. RB

When You Get Old...Better Be Either Rich Or Loved

Common Sense Commentary: Though being loved is better than being rich, being loved by just one or two people, usually, a spouse or a child isn't enough for them to supply all of their own needs and your's too. And, if you aren't rich, neither is your spouse. So, when you are too old to take care of yourself, and friends or relatives who love you are in the same shape as you are, all that is left is to either have a millionaire child or a bunch of well off children, or, God forbid, a strong, reliable Uncle Sam who has no great debt obligations. But, when your Uncle Sam is, himself, 200 Trillion dollars in debt and unfunded liabilities and about to go bankrupt, you can't really depend on him either. So, my point is, get in, and stay in a prayerful mode, soak up God's word, grow in grace enough to trust Him and be a good steward of what He has given you. Which means, stop wasting your money on stupid, unneeded, junk and anything else except necessities. The other option is, you will one day soon awaken in an old body and think some stranger is looking at you through the window ... when you look in the mirror to shave or comb your bald head. You may think everything is well with you, but that person in the mirror looks stricken with poverty and headed for what we used to call "the poor house". 

To compound the problem of supporting yourself when you can no longer work, our rich, lavishly cared for, politicians have arranged it so that your retirement savings earn about 1% interest. Therefore, the day you retire, you will be spending down your savings principle which will quickly drain down to nothing. That too is a situation which has forced a lot of old people to invest in high-risk bonds or stock which is like having a time-bomb, floating in corrosive acid, in your investment portfolio.

The only remedy to being old and poor and not loved very much is kind of like being in spiritual hospice care. That is, being so close to God, that His Holy Spirit administers pain relief and keeps you comfortable as you slip out of this old tired, poor, unloved body ... into His glorious presence. The assurance, of which, is really the best investment you ever made. That is far better than being rich or even loved by physically limited, also dying, human beings ..... whoever they might be. But even worse is trusting your bankrupt Uncle Sam to give two hoots in hell about you ... except if you vote for him just before you pass on to your eternal reward.... or eternal bankruptcy. Better make an emergency arrangement with Jesus before the rush. RB

If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America. 

The ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to an organization called Organizing for Action (OFA). OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution. 

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform. 

OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows:  "Organizing is the building block of everything great we've accomplished. Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities, and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines...Commit to this work in 2016 and beyond." 

OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it's the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic.  AMERICA 

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president "will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House." Sperry writes that the ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the incoming administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate OFA has 32,525 volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office near the White House. 

Think about how this work, for example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; violence follows- all emanating from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests. 

If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.

Takes A Shipload Of Gall For Media To Claim Fairness

Common Sense Commentary: According to the Washington Post, just 7% of journalists claim to be Republican. (Link at bottom of this page). That is amazing, considering the fact that, since the disparity between Republican and Democrat Media people was first exposed, the Media moguls have pressured journalists to claim they are Independent, politically, though they still vote Democrat. Now for a real kick in the head. The Liberal (Democrat) Harvard Kennedy School's  Shorenstein Center has just done a Media survey and is bold enough to publish the results below showing outrageous bias against Trump in Major Media reporting. Study finds Trump coverage overwhelmingly negative

If you thought the News Media was kinda, sorta biased against Trump ...

That’s not quite right: It’s overwhelmingly negative. Stunningly negative. Head-shakingly negative.

That’s according to a new study by Harvard’s Shorenstein Center, a widely respected operation that chronicles media coverage.

And adding to the sharply negative tone is the sheer volume. It’s not your imagination—Donald Trump is the most heavily covered president ever.

The center examined the coverage of Trump’s firs 100 days in three major papers—the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post—and the main newscasts of CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox News.

The top line figure: Some 80 percent of these stories and segments had a negative tone, 20 percent positive (beyond those that were neutral). That is bad. In fact, it’s twice as negative as the coverage of Barack Obama’s first 100 days, and much more negative than that for George W. Bush and Bill Clinton as well.

And the differences are stark when you drill down by news organization.

At CNN and NBC, 93 percent of the stories were negative in tone toward Trump, the study says. Put another way, their main newscasts could find only 7 percent of stories worth being positive toward the president.

CBS wasn’t far behind, at 91 percent negative. Then there was the New York Times (87 percent) and Washington Post (83 percent).

The Wall Street Journal clocked in at 70 percent negative.

And Fox News was, well, fair and balanced. The study found Bret Baier’s “Special Report” to be 52 percent negative and 48 percent positive toward Trump. The network that is often derided by the rest of the media for being too pro-Trump was actually the fairest, according to the Harvard researchers.

What’s more, issues matter. It’s telling that 96 percent of the coverage of immigration was negative, along with 87 percent of the coverage on health care and Russia’s impact on the election. Some 81 percent of the coverage on Trump’s fitness for office was negative. Those are all subjects with a pretty clear media narrative. By contrast, “only” 54 percent of the stories on the economy were negative.

Even in the president’s best week of the period examined, when he ordered airstrikes against Syria, his coverage was 70 percent negative.

Overall, say the researchers, the coverage of President Trump “was negative even by the standards of today’s hyper-critical press.”

And all of this resonates in a very loud echo chamber. On the national networks studied, 41 percent of the stories involved Trump. That means of everything going on in the world, more than four out of 10 stories dealt with this president—three times the usual level, Shorenstein says.

And Trump was the featured speaker in nearly two-thirds of these reports, talking or tweeting. So if Trump seems inescapable, he is.

Why? He drives ratings, pure and simple. Boring presidents don’t rate as much airtime. And whether you like or loathe Trump, it’s fair to say he’s never boring.

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. On December 15, 1791, the Bill of Rights(the first ten amendments to the Constitution) was adopted, having been ratified by three-fourths of the states.

"The right to keep and bear arms" does not primarily address self-defense but "the security of a free state". Whether the threat is from foreign or home-grown politicians. RB

This president doesn't think small. From a border wall to beefing up the military, Donald Trump's vision is like his larger-than-life personality. And for pro-lifers, who are used to some politicians doing the bare minimum, that's been a pleasant surprise. Today, they'll be thrilled to know the administration went big on something else: the Mexico City Policy.

Wait a minute, some of you are thinking. Didn't the president already reinstate it? He did -- back in January. But this morning, the White House took a giant leap forward, outdoing Presidents Bush and even Reagan with the actual implementation of the rule. In a policy dating back to every Republican administration since Ronald Reagan's, Trump continued the tradition of blocking even a single U.S. cent from going to any foreign group that performs or promotes abortion as "family planning" overseas. But unlike other administrations, this White House is significantly expanding how and where the rule is applied.

In what the president is calling the "Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance" policy, the administration is multiplying the impact well beyond the Department of State. For the first time ever, the White House isn't just bringing $600 million in taxpayer funding under the authority of the pro-life rule, but $8.8 billion from the Departments of State, Health and Human Services, and Defense. That's almost 15 times more money flowing through the abortion ban than President Bush's policy! "I further direct the Secretary of State to take all necessary actions, to the extent permitted by law, to ensure that U.S. taxpayer dollars do not fund organizations or programs that support or participate in the management of a program of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization."

As one White House official told The Brody File, "The pro-life policy will apply to global health assistance funding for international health programs, such as those for HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, malaria, global health security, and family planning and reproductive health." As most people will tell you, the inclusion of the DOD is probably the single greatest change, since the order affects all global health assistance funding -- not just "family planning" dollars. Talk about making an immediate impact! There's no telling how many thousands of unborn lives this policy will save simply because Donald Trump dared to step out and do what 83 percent of Americans wanted: end taxpayer funding of overseas abortion groups.

As a Marist poll pointed out in January, Americans overwhelmingly support Trump's move to slash tax dollars for abortion groups -- even more so abroad (83 percent). In four short months, the new administration has systematically fulfilled a number of key campaign promises. The Mexico City Policy's implementation should reassure everyone who's questioned the merits of the president's recent executive order on religious liberty. If conservatives doubt this president's sincerity on the issue, they shouldn't. At the very least, he deserves the chance to implement the order before people judge how effective it is. All he's done these first 120 days is prove the critics wrong. I'm confident his religious freedom protections will be no different.

If You Are Still Uncertain What God's Will Is

Spend more time studying God's word. Even prayer is weak in faith and out of focus without a foundation upon God's revealed word ... from which to launch your prayer. "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." James 1:6. So where does that essential element of "faith" come from? "... faith cometh by hearing ... the word of God." Rom.10:17.

Here is a formula by which I have often come to know God's will for moving mountains in my life and ministry. First, search God's word, the Bible, to see if your question, need or fear is answered somewhere in the pages of Scripture. If it is, you have your answer and need not search further. But if you cannot find God's will for you answered in His word, pray for Him to reveal it to you. And as you continue to pray ... ("Pray without ceasing." 1 Thess.5:17), go into information action. Read or search the internet for factual information related to the questionable subject. Ask advice from experts in the field of your problem, professionals, doctors, lawyers, or Christian friends who have shown maturity, wisdom and spiritual depth.

If you still do not arrive at an answer for exactly what God's will is, follow the admonition of Col.3:15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts...."
The word "rule" in that verse is the Greek word brabeuo and means, "To act as judge or umpire".  In other words, if you are well acquainted with God's word, have prayed about God's will for you and have learned all you can about the facts surrounding your problem or need, then you are in the right mind to simply do what God gives you peace about. But if you are not grounded in His word and are not prayed up and well informed, the devil might give you a false "peace" or assurance. It all comes back to the absolute necessity of walking with God, in the "narrow way", as the only way for our lives.

Electromagnetic pulse attack on Hawaii would devastate the state

On July 9, 1962, Hawaii was hit by a massive electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack, which within minutes took down the state’s communications systems and traffic lights —  virtually everything that ran on electricity.

The EMP wasn’t an attack by a foreign government; rather the U.S. government had set off a 1.4-megaton nuclear warhead at a height of 248 miles above Johnston Atoll in an operation the military named “Starfish Prime.” The test caused radio disruptions in Hawaii, California, and Alaska, and knocked out six satellites above the Pacific.

“No one expected the test to impact Hawaii, because it was 850 miles away,” said Toby Clairmont, deputy administrator for the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, which is located within one of Hawaii’s most recognizable landmarks, Diamond Head. “This kind of blast does not hurt people, but as we’ve seen, it shuts down power and phones and goes after infrastructure and could cause problems at medical facilities.”

With North Korea developing its nuclear and intercontinental ballistic missile capabilities, Hawaii defense experts are concerned North Korea could target the 50th state with an EMP attack. Such an explosion, if executed high enough in the atmosphere, could be hundreds of miles from Hawaii and still damage its operations and communications.

“This is not theoretical. It has already happened,” said Clairmont, noting significant damage was done to both civilian and military electrical and communications systems.

“Almost every aspect of our lives is reliant on electricity, much more so than in 1962 — everything from banking to health care to communications to automobiles — so you can imagine the devastating impact such an attack could have,” Gabbard said.

In Hawaii, there is an added layer of risk even if the attack were not directed at Hawaii, Gabbard said.

“If an attack occurred on the mainland and the electric grid were shut down on the West Coast, it would create a crisis in Hawaii through the total disruption of our food and energy supply chain,” Gabbard said.

Hawaii is possibly a more desirable target than other states, warned Dean Cheng, senior research fellow with the Asian Studies Center at the Heritage Foundation, in part because the headquarters for the United States Pacific Command at Camp Smith is on Oahu, and the state has 11 military bases, including Pearl Harbor.

Dave Benham, spokesman for the U.S. Pacific Command, said his agency is ready to counter any threat to U.S. interests in an area of responsibility that spans half the globe.

“The No. 1 threat in the region continues to be North Korea, due to its reckless, irresponsible and destabilizing program of missile tests and pursuit of a nuclear weapons capability,” Benham said.

While some experts claim an EMP attack isn’t a likely concern, National Geographic notes a Congressional commission of scientific and military experts warned in 2004 that an EMP attack could cause a massive blackout and damage financial and power networks.

“Depending on the specific characteristics of the attacks, unprecedented cascading failures of our major infrastructures could result,” the 2004 commission warned in a statement. “In that event, a regional or national recovery would be long and difficult and would seriously degrade the safety and overall viability of our Nation.”

A later report in 2008 by the Congressional Research Service confirmed that an EMP attack could cause substantial damage.

One solution Gabbard is advocating for is utility companies upping their security in preparation for any kind of attack.

“I’ve long advocated for investing in hardening our core infrastructure and electrical grid against the threats of today and tomorrow, whether it be an EMP attack or a cyberattack,” she said.

Oklahoma House declares abortion murder.

 The Oklahoma House of Representatives passed a resolution Monday declaring abortion to be murder and criticizing the U.S. Supreme Court for decisions that have allowed women to seek elective abortions. 

The resolution, passed on a voice vote without any debate, carries no force of law. But it takes the remarkable step of specifically accusing the Supreme Court of “overstepp[ing] its authority and jurisdiction” in Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, two landmark decisions that protected a woman’s right to seek an abortion. 

The measure calls on public officials to “stop the murder of innocent unborn children by abortion.” It also orders the Oklahoma Supreme Court to stay out of any future cases involving state abortion law. 

Oklahoma has already enacted strict rules aimed at limiting abortions performed in the state. 

A woman seeking an abortion must undergo counseling and wait 72 hours before getting an abortion. Health insurance plans offered under the Affordable Care Act may only cover abortions performed if the mother’s life is in danger. Parents of minors seeking abortions must be notified before the procedure takes place. And abortions performed after 20 weeks are banned unless the woman’s life is at risk. 

There are only five medical facilities that provide abortion services in Oklahoma, according to the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion rights group that tracks state laws. 

Anti-abortion groups have helped shepherd new restrictions through state legislatures this year in Kentucky and Iowa. Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) signed a 20-week abortion ban into law late last year, and Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam (R) is considering a similar ban passed by the legislature last week. 

Pro-abortion rights groups are exploring their legal options in several states, a step that some anti-abortion groups welcome. Those groups say they hope to pass new, more restrictive laws that will create a lawsuit that could make it to the Supreme Court, 
where they hope justices will reconsider the Roe and Casey decisions.

God's Will Is Always Factual And True To His Word

All Else Is Error And Misconception 

Common Sense Commentary: Religion, opinions, preconceptions, and emotions can conflict with God's will, and are poor guides, if not accompanied with factual knowledge of God's word, truth, prayer and God's Holy Spirit. RB

Since the beginning of humanity, seekers of truth have innately known there has to be a Creator God. Though they haven't seen Him with their eyes, they have seen his creative genius, felt His presence and heard the music of His handiwork. All five of our human senses testify of His existence and lead us to seek His will and purpose for us. This is why, in the absence of the truth of God's word, so many religions and gods have been embraced by uninformed people. That is also why God instructed Adam and Eve in the way of truth, sent the Prophets, Apostles, Jesus Himself, His church, the Holy scriptures and the Holy Spirit... to guide us into the truth. 
"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine...." Acts 2:42.

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth...." John 16:13. 

But the fallen nature of the human race prefers to seek God, and His will through superstition, intuition, imagination, magic ... a god they can see, hear and feel. But Jesus said, "God is a Spirit:
and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." John 4:24.

What does that mean, "...in spirit and in truth"? "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

It is impossible to worship God or know his will except it be through His Son, the intercessor between Holy God and unholy men.... Jesus Christ.

"....It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us." Rom.8:34

Knowing God's will is revealed only to those who seek Him through Jesus Christ; that is, through and because of what Jesus did on the cross, bringing those who believe on Him into conformity with the will and purpose of God for our lives. 

If you want to know God's will at every crossroads, in every crisis, and every situation in life, study His word, seek His presence in prayer and trust your life completely into his hands. Then wait patiently for the first step, toward His will, to be revealed. Take that first step without having to know where He is leading you.

"Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31.
