Are Some Wokers  Suddenly Waking Up?

Bill Maher, host of "Real-Time" on TV doesn't seem to fit into any of the various prefab political slots into which nearly everyone finds common ground with their kind.  I have always classified him as one of the leftwing feathers, but if he ever was thus attached to the US political bird, he has morphed into something nearer the right-wing. I don't think he got born again; he still has a dirty mouth, but I've noticed that a lot of right-wingers have lately become infected with the dirty mouth syndrome of the political left.  Has our sweet milk country become homogenized, spoiled, or just gone clabbered.  Anyway, Maher has called himself everything but a Conservative, though that is exactly what he appears to be becoming.  Here is one of his latest rants ... but I have removed his scat droppings where you see a blank line.  RB 

"Real Time" host Bill Maher closed his show Friday night by sounding the alarm on China's growing dominance over the United States. “Why are Americans sleeping", he asked? ..."We aren't sleeping, we are spending our time teaching and assisting little boys how to become little girls!!! And, if we aren't busy doing that we have the Sec of Defense, responding to an order from the 'commander' in chief, designing stylish new uniforms for ‘pregnant soldiers ’”

 

"You're not going to win the battle for the 21st century if you are such silly people. And Americans all now seem to be silly people," Maher began the monologue, alluding to a "Lawrence of Arabia" quote.

 

"Do you know who doesn't care that there's a stereotype of a Chinese man in a Dr. Seuss book? China," he said. "All 1.4 billion of them couldn't give a crouching tiger flying ___ because they're not silly people. If anything, they are as serious as a prison fight. ”

 

Maher then wryly acknowledged that China does "bad stuff" from the concentration camps of Uyghur Muslims to its treatment of Hong Kong. But he stressed, "There's got to be something between an authoritarian government that tells everyone what to do and a representative government that can't do anything at all.”

 

"In two generations, China has built 500 entire cities from scratch, moved the majority of their huge population from poverty to the middle class, and mostly cornered the market in 5G and pharmaceuticals. Oh, and they bought Africa," Maher said, pointing to China's global Silk Road infrastructure initiative.

 

He continued: "In China alone, they have 40,000 kilometers of high-speed rail. America has none. ... We've been having Infrastructure Week, every week since 2009, but we never get anything done! Half the country is having a never-ending woke competition deciding whether Mr. Potato Head has a ____ and the other half believes we have to stop the lizard people because they're eating babies. We are such “silly people”.

 

"Nothing ever moves in this impacted colon of a country. We see a problem and we ignore it, lie about it, fight about it with each other, endlessly litigate it, sunset clause it, kick it down the road, and then write a bill where a half- _____ solution doesn't kick in for 10 years," Maher explained. Then the half-_____ bill gets forgotten. "China sees a problem and they fix it. They build a dam. We debate what to rename it. ”  The HBO star cited how it took "ten years" for a bus line in San Francisco to pass its environmental review and how it took "16 years" to build the Big Dig tunnel in Boston, comparing that to a 57-story skyscraper that China built in "19 days" and Beijing's Sanyuan Bridge, which was demolished and rebuilt in "43 hours. ”

 

"We binge-watch, they binge-build. When COVID hit Wuhan, the city built a quarantine center with 4,000 rooms in 10 days and they barely had to use it because they quickly arrested the rest of the disease," Maher said. "They were back to throwing raves in swimming pools while we were stuck at home surfing the dark web for black market Charmin. We're not losing to China, we’ve LOST. The returns just haven't all come in yet. They've made robots that check a kid's temperature and got their _____ back in school. Most of our kids are still pretending to take Zoom classes while they watch TikTok and their brain cells fully commit ritual suicide." Our teachers' unions are finding every single way to keep themselves on the payroll, but keep students out of the classrooms. WAKE UP AMERICANS!! That means ALL of YOU.

 

Maher then blasted New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, accusing him of degrading school standards by eliminating merit and substituting a lottery system for admittance to schools for advanced learners. Our country is going down the toilet.

 

"Do you think China's doing that, letting political correctness get in the way of nurturing their best and brightest?" Maher continued. "Do you think Chinese colleges and universities are offering courses in 'The Philosophy of Star Trek, 'The Sociology of Seinfeld,' and 'Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse'? Can this be real? Well, let me tell you, China is real. And they are eating our lunch. And believe me, in an hour, they'll be hungry again."  I would add that the rot being developed internally by groups such as BLM, extreme left-wing groups, along with the free loaders, and a hundred other groups are perhaps a far greater threat than China, because they are all around us, and we tax paying, country-loving, hardworking individuals just sit back and watch it take place. That people like Omar, AOC, and others can be elected, should just make you vomit.

 

That a statue of George Floyd could be put up in Minneapolis and some historical statues taken down should tell you that its off the rails, way off the rails, and unless it is stopped by the people who care about the matter, I fear that we are not going to get back on the track heading in the right direction.

The large number of young American patriots who see Ukraine as equally bad, or worse than Russia, have two defining blind spots.  One being the fact that they were too young during the years, right after WWII, when Russia murdered hundreds of thousands of West Europeans, and freedom-loving Russians to glue together the USSR (United Soviet Socialist Republic) into one big killing machine.  The population, of what is now Ukraine, suffered terribly during that period of Communist eradication of its opposition.  Those Western European nations have not forgotten what their Russian neighbors did to them.  The second blind spot of many young Americans who see Russia and Ukraine as equally bad or even see Russia as the better of the two, are judging them from a jaundiced viewpoint.  First, though Ukraine is a country with more than its share of corruption, having also been stimulated by Obama, Joe Biden, and his son Hunter, and a loud, not irrelevant, cruel, element of "play-like" Nazis, their sins are mostly self-contained and local; Whereas, Putin's closet Communists dream of a resurrected Soviet Union in conjunction with Communist China and a few other nations, of a new day of a world Socialist powerhouse.  That worldview is far more threatening to us all than Ukraine's house of prostitution and red-light district with a swastika boldly hanging out a window.  You can't blame young Americans for not going along with Biden, the UN, multinational corporations, News Networks, Democrats, and a confused majority...  who now blame it all on Russia and glorify Ukraine.  After all, all of the above entities have misrepresented facts, corrupted everything they touched, lied, and lied and lied to us about everything imaginable.  They have made it almost impossible to now believe anything they say.  Notorious liars that they are, they make it almost impossible for me to stand with them against the greater enemy, Vladimir Putin, who, with China and an Axis of nations, is the real threat to the whole world.  This situation is so complicated and contradictory that I am not sure of but one thing .... What the ‘Miracle Baby’ from China Can Teach Christians about Marxism

If there has ever been any doubt in the church about the anti-Christ spirit embedded in Marxist ideology, there is one powerful story of a ‘miracle baby’ from China which can help remove the uncertainty.

This is a story that has rarely been told.

Helen Priscilla was born to missionary parents in China’s Anhui Province on September 11, 1934. There were complications with the birth, so Helen’s mother, Betty, had a cesarean section. After Helen’s birth, her parents John and Betty moved to a town called Jingde where they planned to serve local Chinese believers and preach the Good News of Jesus Christ.

This was not a safe time in China for John, Betty and their new born baby. China was in a civil war. Marxist teachings were on the rise on college campuses in China and there was a massive wave of desire to bring justice to China’s minority people. A young idealist by the name of Mao Zedong was helping to build an army of college students, factory workers, farmers, and peasants. He brought a message of social justice that would bring equality for women, minorities, and the working class people that had been held down by the rich bourgeoisie.

At 8 o’clock in the morning on December 6, a messenger delivered an urgent message to John Stam – Mao Zedong’s Communist army was approaching and they were less than five miles away.

There was confusion among church leaders at the time because the Communists stood for equality, justice, and equal distribution of wealth. These were arguably things that Jesus also stood for. Many Christians supported the rise of Marxist thought in the 1930’s because of the similarities it preached on justice and equality. However in China, Christian missionaries were all too aware of what was happening to Christians to the north of them in Communist controlled Russia.

John felt that it would be safest to take his family out of the city before the Communist army arrived, but it was already too late. The Stam family were about to learn what the Communist leaders meant by equal justice and it had no similarity to the Biblical version.

The Communist Red Army broke through the gates of the mission compound, raided the homes, the church, and the girls school of everything valuable and took the Stams as prisoners.

John wrote the following letter to the mission directors:

To our dear brothers in Shanghai:Today at Jingde, my wife, child, and I fell into the hands of the Communists. They demand a ransom of twenty thousand dollars for our release.

They have already taken all our possession, but our hearts are at peace, and we are thankful to the Lord for the small meal we were given tonight. May God grant you wisdom to know how to handle this, and may He grant us courage and peace. Nothing is impossible to Him; even at this time, He is our marvelous Friend.

Things happened all too quickly this morning. Many rumors in the past days have become reality at last. Nevertheless, the Red Army took the city in only two or three hours. There was really no time to prepare; it was already too late.

May God bless and lead you. As for us, whether by life or by death, may God be glorified.

The message was never delivered. It was later found crumpled up in some of baby Helen’s clothes. Another note was found where John detailed how he and his wife had been captured, then wrote, “Philippians 1:20: ‘May Christ be glorified whether by life or death.”

The Communists knew that John was a Christian missionary and they despised him and his family because of it. They passionately believed in the Marxist teaching, “Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the masses.”

On that cold winter day, the Communist soldiers did not see John and his wife bringing good news to the people of China. They did not see the free education that they were offering to poor families who could not pay for an education or even the girls school that they were running to help take young girls out of systematic poverty. On that cold winter day in Anhui, the soldiers saw John and his family as opium dealers purposefully spreading the disease of religion in China.

The Stams were taken to a local prison where some of the prisoners were released to make room for John, his wife, and their child. The baby started to cry and annoyed the soldiers who then talked loudly among themselves to taunt John, by debating with one another when they would kill the baby. A Chinese prisoner who heard the taunting pleaded with the soldiers to let the baby go. The prisoner was told that they would let the baby live if he was willing to give his life for it. The Chinese prisoner offered his life for the life of the baby. The Communists hacked him to death and let baby Helen live.

The Communists did not know it at the time, but they were only at the beginning of their notorious Long March. The Long March is one of the most significant military events in Chinese history. It was a retreat by the Red Army to maintain the survival of the Communist Party in China. It was not really a long march, but instead a series of marches that started in 1934 and lasted for 370 days. Mao Zedong traveled with his army over 9,000 kilometers and during that time, many cities were attacked, many homes destroyed, and many Christians murdered.

The Long March is a significant event that is remembered every year in China. At the beginning of that march was the Stam family.

On December 7, the Stams were forced to march 12 miles to the town of Miaoshou where the soldiers stopped for the night. John was chained to a bed in an abandoned house and forced to stand throughout the night.

Betty hid the baby inside a sleeping bag. She may not have known it then, but she would never see her baby again.

The very next morning, John and Betty were marched through the streets of Miaoshou in a manner that would become very popular, once the Communist Party took power in 1949. The streets were lined with people as the soldiers encouraged them to yell at them, insult them, and even throw things at them for being Christian missionaries.

A Chinese shop-keeper saw what was happening and stepped out of the crowd to beg the soldiers for mercy. The shame of mob rule was not enough to keep the shop owner from doing what he knew was right.

The Communists found his compassion oddly familiar. They had seen it before among other Christians. Immediately the commanding officer ordered that the shopkeeper’s home be searched. When they searched his home, they found a Bible and a Christian hymn book.

The shop keeper was considered to be a member of the oppressing group. Not only was he a Christian, but he was a business owner. Business owners were part of the capitalistic oppressive class.

The Christian shop owner was ordered to march along John and his wife as the crowds yelled at them. After marching for a while and insulting the family for hours, the Communists finally stopped. They ordered John to kneel down. When he went to his knees, a sword was swiftly brought down and he was beheaded. His wife screamed out. She too was told to kneel down – at which point her head was removed. John was just 27 years old and his wife Betty was 28.

The Chinese Christian shopkeeper faced the same fate.

For reasons unknown, the soldiers never went back for two-month old baby Helen. For 36 hours, she laid alone where her mother Betty left her.

After two days, a Chinese believer and friend of the Stam family, Reverend Lo, went to the house looking for the baby. After seeing the disordered condition of the abandoned home, he entered the room where the Stams were held on their final night together. He stopped and listened. Soon he heard the very weak crying of baby Helen. He followed the sound until he discovered the location where Betty had left her.

Inside baby Helen’s hooded Western-style two-piece jumper, he found the items of a loving mother. Betty had left her baby with several diapers, two five-dollar notes fastened with a safety pin inside her coat, some milk powder left beside the bed, sugar, and a few loving cookies.

It was all Betty could do for her baby, but God kept Helen safe.

Without delay, Rev. Lo ran baby Helen to a fellow believer named Mrs. Wang.

Rev. Lo and his family carried baby Helen Priscilla in rice baskets through the mountainous regions of eastern China. They marched for over 100 miles with little food or resources to get Baby Helen to safety. After nearly a week of hiking day and night, they finally arrived in Xuancheng where they delivered her to a missionary headquarters.

At which time this telegram was sent. “Stam Baby Safe.”

Nobody ever addresses how this transition would occur.  If the plan is to phase out existing currency through conversion deadline or something, then the stage is set for hyperinflation and gold moonshot as people aggressively spend savings on stuff they otherwise wouldn't, while they can.

If this cluster flock of prehistoric black swans, circling the world right now, is hard to believe and completely unparalleled in all of recorded history,  we may have to read the book of The Revelation with these things in mind.  Indeed, recorded prophecy hasn't yet happened, but bet your bottom dollar.... it will.  And be sure that bottom dollar is silver, not paper.

"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."  Rev. 13:17

The fact is, that most of the "stuff" people buy today is truly useless to their existence or is even detrimental to their health.  So the '"Beast", acting as the Savior, will eliminate or limit salt, sugar, fried food, liquor, tobacco, meat, junk foods, and useless other junk we now buy from the world's many merchants.

"And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise anymore." Rev. 18:11

So what should we buy now, in preparation for the future in these end times ... before the rapture. A lot of things may be useful, including gold and silver, but the most essential things are listed by our Lord right there in The Revelation ...

"I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."   Rev. 3:18

Now that gold and white raiment and eyesalve are the holy things of God furnished through faith in Christ.  RB

Communists, in sympathy with Putin, hope to convince Russians, and the anti-Nazi world that Ukrainians, who have turned against  Communism and Putin, are Nazis.  But 73 % of Ukrainians voted for  Volodymyr Zelensky, a Jew, as their President and he is now their hero.  It has been 200 years since an American President got that many votes and he was the only one besides George Washington, who had no opposing candidate, and got 100% of the vote. As the Ukrainian president captivates the world with his bravery, he offers a reminder of the inroads Eastern and Central European Jews have made in overcoming their status as perpetual outsiders. 

For those inclined to see history as depressingly cyclical, the war in Ukraine offers fairly strong evidence. It all feels lifted from a familiar script in which only the actors have been switched—at anti-Russian protests, a popular placard even has the 20th century’s most evil mustache Photoshopped onto Putin’s face. But there is one protagonist who is an unusual fit for his role: Volodymyr Zelensky.

The 44-year-old former comedian turned president has exhibited great patriotism and bravery, joining his fate with that of his countrymen on the streets of Kyiv, refusing to leave despite Western offers of an airlift. If he is now, as he put it, “the No. 1 target” for the Russians, it is because he is the No. 1 Ukrainian. And what is remarkable, truly mind-blowing in the long sweep of history, is that his Jewishness has not stood in the way of his being embraced as a symbol of the nation.

In the Soviet world that shaped Zelensky and his parents, Jews were perceived as the eternal outsiders, possible fifth columnists, the “rootless cosmopolitans” of Stalin’s imagination. This of course came on top of living in a place where a particularly virulent strain of anti-Semitism had always existed, a legacy of pogroms and Nazi collaboration. Just outside embattled Kyiv is Babi Yar, where 33,771 Jews were shot and thrown into a ravine over the course of two days in 1941. If Zelensky has now become synonymous with the blue-and-yellow flag of his country, it might signal an unexpected outcome of this conflict that has found Jews feeling finally, improbably, one with a land that has perpetually tried to spit them out.

Zelensky grew up in the Russian-speaking city of Kryvyi Rih, in the eastern part of Ukraine. And like most Soviet Jews, his parents were highly educated but also limited as to where their ambitions and learning could take them. His father was a professor of mathematics and his mother had studied engineering. These were standard-issue careers for a certain class of Soviet Jews who knew they couldn’t come close to any of the fields that shaped society and culture—one after another turned to the applied sciences as a way to excel.

When asked about what his actual Jewishness has meant to him, Zelensky has been blasé. In an interview in 2020, he said he came from “an ordinary Soviet Jewish family,” adding that “most Jewish families in the Soviet Union were not religious.” What this hides, though, is the reality that Jewish identity didn’t exist in the Soviet Union, because it couldn’t. To be a Jew from the time of Stalin onward was to have a stamp in your internal passport that marked you as such (just as a Ukrainian or Latvian national identity was also indicated). There was very little opportunity for Jewish community, religious practice, or even bare-bones cultural expression. Unlike Ukrainians and Latvians who had national homelands within the Soviet empire where some degree of culture and language were permitted as long as it stuck to the Communist party line, Jews had nothing of the sort. Synagogues were mostly shut down or crawling with KGB informants. Until the late 1980s, gathering for something as innocuous as a Passover seder was practically a subversive act, and teaching Hebrew was simply not allowed.

By the time Zelensky came of age, three or four generations of Soviet Jews had experienced their Jewish identity as a hollow thing, nothing but a black mark on a passport and a sense of peoplehood born of exclusion and a second-class status. All the while, no matter how steeped in Pushkin they might be, they were never able to fully claim any other national allegiance. When the Soviet Union began buckling to pressure to let Jews emigrate in the 1970s, many took the opportunity to do so, even those mathematicians and engineers who had achieved the heights allowed to them. By the early 1990s, just after the Soviet collapse, the permitted trickle became a deluge, and about 1.5 million headed to the United States and Israel.

Zelensky and his family were part of the few hundred thousand Jews who stayed, content to assimilate in a post-Soviet world, in which Zelensky found success, first as an actor and then as a politician. Two intersecting trends took place over the past 20 years, both of which transformed the status of Jews in Ukraine. First, the end of the Soviet Union allowed some air to enter Jewish communal life for those who remained. In the eastern-Ukrainian city of Dnipro, not far from where Zelensky grew up, there are now 10 synagogues and a gargantuan community center called Menorah, opened in 2012, that reportedly serves 40,000 people a day—even though there are only 60,000 Jews in Dnipro. By 2019, a Pew Research Center poll found Ukraine the most accepting of Jews among all Central and Eastern European countries.

As new opportunities for Jewishness were opening up, the past decade also saw instances when Jews were on the front line of defending a democratic and free Ukraine. Prominent Jewish-identified activists participated in the 2013 Euromaidan demonstrations that forced the ouster of pro-Russia President Viktor Yanukovych in early 2014. Later that year, the Jewish governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region established and personally helped fund a militia to defend against Russian-backed separatists in the east.

Zelensky’s political rise also took place in this context. It’s uncanny in retrospect that the character he played on television in the series Servant of the People—the role that foretold his actual ascendance to the presidency—is a nobody whose rise begins when a private rant is filmed and goes viral. But there is a kind of logic to this coincidence. Zelensky grabbed the attention of Ukrainians by playing out what has traditionally been the part of the Jew: the outsider. In this case, what Ukrainians saw in this lonely figure banging on the window was themselves, embattled, trying to hold on to their national identity amid growing threats to their independence. It may have been this aspect of his Jewishness and the way it came to dovetail with those Ukrainian anxieties that made him such a suddenly popular figure, winning 73 percent of the vote in his 2019 election.

In these days of war and uncertainty, the fact that a Jew has come to represent the fighting spirit of Ukraine provides its own kind of hope. Along with all that seems to be recurring—the military aggression, the assault on freedom—there is also something new: inclusion and acceptance in a place where it once seemed impossible.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant. A promotional video from the Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) helps to neatly connect all the dots about why the Canadian government made such a quick reversal in their bank asset seizures in the last 24 hours {Go Deep}. And yes, as we suspected, it was almost certainly contact from the World Economic Forum to Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland that triggered the change in position.

When Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced they would use the Emergency Act declaration to target the financial support systems, banks and accounts of the people who were protesting against COVID mandates, they not only undermined the integrity of the Canadian banking system – but they also inadvertently stuck a wrench into the plans of the World Economic Forum and the collaborative use of the Canadian Bankers Association to create a digital id.

If the Canadian government can arbitrarily block citizen access to their banking institution without any due process, what does that say about the system the Canadian Banking Association (CBA) was putting into place as part of their Digital ID network?

If the CBA digital identity were in place, the same people targeted by Trudeau’s use of the Emergency Act would have their entire identity blocked by the same government measures. The realization of the issue, reflected by a severe undermining of faith in the banking system, is a dramatic problem for those working to create and promote the Digital ID.

It is not coincidental the financial targeting mechanism deployed by Trudeau/Freeland, the Canadian banking system, is the same system being used to create the digital identity. As a result of the government targeting bank accounts, Finance Minister Freeland just created a reference point for those who would argue against allowing the creation of a comprehensive digital identity.

The motive for the World Economic Forum and Canadian Bankers Association to immediately reach out to Trudeau and Freeland and tell them to back off their plan is crystal clear. THAT is almost certainly why Freeland appeared so admonished, shocked and incapable of getting her footing yesterday {Go Deep}, and why the Canadian government simultaneously informed Parliament they were unfreezing the bank accounts.

Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland essentially broke the financial code of Omerta, by highlighting how easy it is for government to seize your bank accounts, credit cards, retirement accounts, insurance, mortgages, loan access and cut you off from money (without due process).

The unintended consequence was an immediate and clear reference point if government did the same action with a digital ID in place.

However, this undermined confidence and faith in the banking system cannot be restored quickly. The toothpaste cannot be put back into the tube. The horse has left the barn.

Quickly this becomes a moment for immediate damage control by the Canadian government. This explains why Justin Trudeau dropped the declaration of the Emergency Act.

It all makes sense now. All of it.

Indeed, the government leaders who take their instructions from the multinational corporations in charge of the World Economic Forum, which is to say almost all of them, are so entrenched in their need to use COVID-19 as the pry bar for the Build Back Better agenda, they simply cannot let it go.

Without COVID-19, they can’t keep the vaccination push. Without the vaccination push, they can’t keep the vaccine passport process in place. Without the vaccination passport registration process to track and monitor human behavior, the governing authorities cannot fulfill the mission of a comprehensive digital identity and social credit tracking system. Indeed, everything they seek is contingent upon keeping the premise of COVID-19 alive.

It is not accidental the World Economic Forum is at the epicenter of this

As we previously noted, the architects of the Build Back Better society (WEF) are guiding various governments on ways to create efficient registration and compliance systems, i.e. ways that permit citizens to prove their vaccinated and compliant status. As these discussions are taking place, it is prudent to pause and think very carefully, wisely.

We all know, as we are reading this, under the guise of enhancing our safety, the U.S. Federal Government is in discussions with the medical community, multinational corporations and employers of citizens to create a more efficient process for you to register your vaccine compliance.

We know their conversation under the terminology of a COVID Passport. The current goal is to make a system for us to show and prove our authorized work status, which, as you know, is based on your obedience to a mandated vaccine.

Beta tests are being conducted in various nations, each with different perspectives and constitutional limitations, based on pesky archaic rules and laws that govern freedom.

For the western, or for lack of a better word ‘democratic‘ outlook, Australia, New Zealand, France and Europe are leading the way with their technological system of vaccination check points and registered state/national vaccination status tied to your registration identification.

New York City joined the vaccine checkpoint process, as their city now requires the vaccine to enter all private businesses. Los Angeles soon followed.

The Australian electronic checkpoints are essentially gateways where QR codes are being scanned from the cell phones of the compliant vaccinated citizen. Yes comrades, there’s an app for that.

Currently, the vaccine status scans are registered by happy compliance workers, greeters at the entry to the business or venue. Indeed, the Walmart greeter has a new gadget to scan your phone prior to allowing you custody of a shopping cart.

In restaurants, the host or hostess has a similar compliance scanner to check you in prior to seating or a reservation confirmation.

It’s simple and fun. You pull up your QR code on your cell phone (aka portable transponder and registration device), using the registration app, and your phone is scanned delivering a green check response to confirm your correct vaccination status and authorized entry.

The Australian government, at both a federal and state level, is working closely with Big Tech companies (thirsting for the national contract) to evaluate the best universal process that can be deployed nationwide.

As noted by all six Premiers in the states down under, hardware (scanners) and software (registration) systems are all being tested to find the most comprehensive/convenient portable units to settle upon. Meanwhile in the U.S., cities like Los Angeles and New York await the beta test conclusion before deploying their own version of the same process.

In Europe, they are also testing their vaccine checkpoint and registration processes known as the EU “Green Pass.”

The “Green Pass” is a similar technological system that gives a vaccinated and registered citizen access to all the venues and locations previously locked down while the COVID-19 virus was being mitigated. What would have been called a “vast right-wing conspiracy theory” 24 months ago, is now a COVID passport process well underway.

As with all things in our rapid technological era, you do not have to squint to see the horizon and accept that eventually this process will automate, and there will be a gadget or scanning gateway automatically granting you access without a person needing to stand there and scan each cell phone QR code individually.

The automated process just makes sense. You are well aware your cell phone already transmits an electronic beacon enabling your Uber or Lyft driver access to your location at the push of a touchscreen button, another convenient app on your phone. So, why wouldn’t the gateways just accept this same recognizable transmission as registration of your vaccine compliant arrival at the coffee shop?

The automated version is far easier and way cooler than having to reach into your pocket or purse and pulling up that pesky QR code on the screen. Smiles everyone, the partnership between Big Tech and Big Government is always there to make your transit more streamline and seamless. Heck, you won’t even notice the electronic receiver mounted at the entry. Give it a few weeks and you won’t remember the reason you were laughing at Alex Jones any more than you remember why you are taking off your shoes at the airport.

However, as this process is created, it is worth considering that you are being quietly changed from an individual person to a product. Some are starting to worry in the beta test:

All product-based systems have these gates to control the flow of stock and weed out errors. It is how computers see things. The more gates, the more clarity.

You are updating the government like a parcel pings Australia Post on its way to a customer. If a fault is found, automatic alerts are issued, and you are stopped from proceeding. In New South Wales, this comes in the form of a big red ‘X’ on the myGov vaccine passport app (if you managed to link your Medicare account without smashing the phone to bits).

Gate-keeping systems have been adapted from retail and transformed into human-based crowd solutions to micromanage millions of lives with the same ruthless efficiency as barcodes tracking stock. There is no nuance or humanity in this soulless digital age. Barcodes are binary. Good – bad. Citizen or dissident.

Even if you have all the required government attributes to pass through the gates – two vaccines, six boosters, and a lifelong subscription to Microsoft – something could go wrong. If your data fails the scan, you’ll slip into digital purgatory and become an error message. (read more)

It could be problematic if your status fails to register correctly, or if the system identifies some form of alternate lifestyle non-compliance that will block you from entry. Then again, that’s what beta tests are for, working out all these techno bugs and stuff. Not to worry…. move along….

Then again… “For those in the privileged class allowed to shop, take note of Covid signs which encourage cashless transactions under the guise of ‘health’. Messaging around cards being ‘safer’ will increase until the Treasury tries to remove cash entirely, almost certainly with public approval.”

Wait, now we are squinting at that familiar image on the horizon because we know those who control things have been talking about a cashless society for quite a while.

We also know that data is considered a major commodity all by itself. Why do you think every system you encounter in the modern era requires your phone number even when you are not registering for anything. It, meaning you, us, are all getting linked into this modern registration system that is defining our status. We also know that system operators buy and sell our registered status amid various retail and technology systems.

Yeah, that opaque shadow is getting a little clearer now.

Perhaps you attempt to purchase dog food and get denied entry into Pet Smart because you didn’t renew the car registration. Or perhaps you are blocked from entry because you forgot to change the oil on the leased vehicle you drive, and Toyota has this weird agreement with some retail consortium. You head to the oil change place that conveniently pops up in the citizen compliance App –it’s only two blocks away– they clear the alert after they do the oil change, and you are gateway compliant again.
