Common Sense Commentary: Here is just another example of the insane policies of the Obama Administration. Not only advertising in Mexico and on Spanish Language stations, on the border, allowing illegal aliens who "self deported" themselves back to Mexico to return the the U.S., but paying out millions for the inconvenience. This is not actually insanity or ignorance or compassion, it is conspiracy to gain the Democrats votes when Obama makes all of them "citizens" by Executive Order. FEDS TO ADVERTISE SETTLEMENT ALLOWING DEPORTED ILLEGALS TO RETURN

As part of a legal settlement that will allow some illegal immigrants who deported themselves from Southern California to return to the United States, the federal government has agreed to advertise the settlement on various Mexican and Spanish-language media outlets. The ACLU filed a class-action lawsuit last year on behalf of eleven illegal immigrants who deported themselves. The settlement reached on Wednesday will only cover "longtime California residents with relatives who are U.S. citizens and... young migrants whose parents brought them into the country illegally" who deported themselves between 2009 and 2013. An ACLU official has indicated that there were nearly 250,000 people who were "deported voluntarily from Southern California between 2009 and 2013" and estimated to the Los Angeles Times that the "number of repatriations could reach into the hundreds or thousands." The U.S. government, through ad buys online, in print, on billboards, and on radio stations, will hope to reach "friends and family of the affected class" in Southern California and Mexico. According to the settlement, the federal government will advertise on television channels like Univision, ESPN Deportes, MundoFox, El Universal, and the Univision Deportes Network. They will also partner with People en Espanol and even the Mexico National Football Team in addition to placing billboards "in high population Mexican border cities of Tijuana, Tecate and Mexicali, as well as focusing placements near border crossings." U.S. officials will also place "radio ads :60 in length... on top Spanish speaking radio stations near the Mexico/U.S. border." Those who search for "Lopez Case," "Lopez Class Action," "Voluntary Return to Mexico," "Rights for Detainees," "Detained by ICE," and "Returned to Mexico by ICE" will also be targeted with information about the settlement.

Foreign Islamic Extreemists Encouraged By US To Infiltrate Native American Tribe On Arizona/Mexican Border

Common Sense Commentary: In my recent Blog on "Terrorists On Our Southern Border" I included an article from Judicial Watch confirming the fact and alerting America of the danger. That article was sent to me by a fellow blogger, Elaine Merritt, who was a member of the church I pastored in Tallahassee, FL for 30 years. Elaine is retired from high office and is still involved in political education via her Blog. In my Blog, mentioned above, I suggested that the Muslim Terrorists entering our Southern border could very well be in co-operation with Mexican drug runners. This morning, I received an email from Elaine informing me of another Islamic conspiracy on our southern border. This one gives Muslims a wide open entry directly onto a Native American Reservation on Arizona's border with Mexico. As you know, Native American Tribes have their own law enforcement networks totally separate from the State or Federal Agencies. The Muslims are there, recruiting converts and doing business between this tribe and Turkey, a Muslim nation.

Thanks for using the article in your blog.  Since I found the article by Judicial Watch, I have since found another interesting read that, in my opinion, ties together with Judicial Watch's alert.  The average person is not aware of an American Indian Tribe closely connected with ISIS and that provides them with accommodations not accessible to local law enforcement--tribes have their own law enforcement.  The link I am listing provides a lengthy education and at the bottom it mentions Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, who is reportedly positioning himself to be considered as the caliph of the reemerging Islamic Caliphate, involvement with American Indian reservations, particularly the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation, located in southwestern and central Arizona.

Now Who's At Fault Here, Burger King or King Obama ?

Common Sense Commentary: A bunch of politicians who not only can't balance the national budget but goes deeper into a black hole of debt every year for decades, and now owes more than 17 Trillion dollars to its citizens and foreigners all over the world, shouldn't be giving financial advice. Even worse than their advice is their intimidation and punishment of citizens and businesses who struggle constantly to balance their budgets and pay that same government the highest "total" taxes in the world. Mr. Obama says they are "unpatriotic".  That is just another presidential lie. What IS unpatriotic is the way he and his fellow Socialist Liberals are driving our ship of state into the rocky cliffs under our Constitutional Lighthouse. The Government Guilt Trip for Your Money

Dear Sovereign Investor,
Burger King (NYSE:BKW) was crucified in the media this week after it announced that it was not only purchasing Canadian company Tim Hortons (NYSE:THI) but that it was also moving its address to Canada,  benefiting from a so-called tax inversion.

President Obama calls it something else — an “unpatriotic loophole.”

But, of course he would say that, as ridiculous as it is. He has to.

First, Burger King pays an average corporate tax of 27.5% compared with Tim Hortons’ average tax of 27% in Canada. Not a huge difference.  However, Burger King will benefit because it won’t be paying American taxes on what it earns in South Africa or Colombia or the 93 other countries where it has franchises. American companies share this taxation “privilege” with only one other country in the world — Libya.

And second, the idea that a tax inversion is an “unpatriotic loophole” is just silly. What could be more American than saving a few bucks? Are you telling me that Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown — the gentleman calling for a boycott of Burger King because of its move to Canada — doesn’t take advantage of every deduction and loophole available to him when he files his taxes every year? Are the rest of Americans who take joy in cutting down their tax liability “unpatriotic” as well?

When you consider that the U.S. government has tallied up a debt of more than $17 trillion and doesn’t show any sign of stopping, do you want to throw your hard-earned money down that bottomless pit to nowhere?

No, I didn’t think so.

As for the companies that are seeking a tax inversion to cut down their tax liabilities, this isn’t about patriotism. It’s business. And the money these companies don’t toss down the bottomless pit of government spending can be used for brilliant things such as reinvesting and growing their business, creating new jobs, paying higher wages to employees and even redistributing those funds to shareholders in the form of dividends.

Protecting your wealth isn’t unpatriotic, but responsible and wise — and it’s not unpatriotic to look outside the U.S. for these kinds of breaks. The American government is in a bind with debt and it can’t see a way out of it without the money it can grab from both corporations and individual citizens. We at the Sovereign Society remain steadfast in our resolve to find you the best asset protection avenues and investments that will keep your money in your pocket rather than Uncle Sam’s.

Imminent Terrorist Attack Warning By Feds on US Border

Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Specifically, Judicial Watch sources reveal that the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is confirmed to now be operating in Juarez, a famously crime-infested narcotics hotbed situated across from El Paso, Texas. 

Violent crimes are so rampant in Juarez that the U.S. State Department has issued a number of travel warnings for anyone planning to go there. The last one was issued just a few days ago.

Intelligence officials have picked up radio talk and chatter indicating that the terrorist groups are going to “carry out an attack on the border,” according to one Judicial Watch source. 

“It’s coming very soon,” according to this high-level source, who clearly identified the groups planning the plots as “ISIS and Al Qaeda.” An attack is so imminent that the commanding general at Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, is being briefed, another source confirms. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not respond to multiple inquiries from Judicial Watch, both telephonic and in writing, about this information.

The disturbing inside intelligence comes on the heels of news reports revealing that U.S. intelligence has picked up increased chatter among Islamist terror networks approaching the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. While these terrorists reportedly plan their attack just outside the U.S., President Obama admits that “we don’t have a strategy yet” to combat ISIS. “I don’t want to put the cart before the horse,” the commander-in-chief said this week during a White House press briefing. “I think what I’ve seen in some of the news reports suggest that folks are getting a little further ahead of what we’re at than what we currently are.”

The administration has also covered up, or at the very least downplayed, a serious epidemic of crime along the Mexican border even as heavily armed drug cartels have taken over portions of the region. Judicial Watch has reported that the U.S. Border Patrol actually ordered officers to avoid the most crime-infested stretches because they’re “too dangerous” and patrolling them could result in an “international incident” of cross border shooting. In the meantime, who could forget the famous words of Obama’s first Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano; the southern border is “as secure as it has ever been.”

These new revelations are bound to impact the current debate about the border crisis and immigration policy.

‘Significant increase’ in terror chatter as haunting anniversary of 9/11 nears

The U.S. intelligence community has observed a “significant increase” in chatter among terrorist organizations as the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks nears.

“We’ve noticed a significant increase in chatter among Islamic terrorist organizations overseas both on the Internet and phone lines,” a U.S. government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Blaze.

While the intelligence community can not pinpoint whether or not an attack is planned, the official said that agencies “did see this kind of increase in chatter before the September 11 attacks.”

Deciphering chatter is more difficult than in previous years because of the rise of the Islamic State group, which threatens to drain al Qaeda of resources as it asserts dominance Iraq and Syria. Like al Qaeda, Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, has openly declared its intent to bring terror to American interests around the globe.

“The threat is two-fold because ISIS is in war with core al Qaeda,” former CIA case officer Brian Fairchild told The Blaze. “ISIS was kicked out of al Qaeda in February and they’ve been fighting each other internally for leadership. ISIS is winning right now. They have captured the imagination of young Muslims from around the world and depriving al Qaeda of its own fighters. Al Qaeda is split down the middle and now you have 9/11 [anniversary approaching]. It would be beneficial to both camps that on 9/11, some great attack in the United States takes place,” he added.

The Islamic State executed American photojournalist James Foley on Aug. 19, and has used social media platforms to threaten terror attacks on American soil.

Chicago’s WGN network recently reported that a tweet from the terror group on June 20 includes a picture taken on Michigan Ave. The tweet reads “Soldiers of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria will pass from here soon.” An Arabic message held up in the picture was translated “We are in your streets.”

Say What You Will, No Repetitive Chorus Blesses A Christian Soul Like The Great Old Hymns

Common Sense Commentary: There are a few old hymns which have words and phrases even a Doctor of Theology can't understand; but they are few. The great old hymns we older Christians have sung, in church and out, all of our lives, all have a golden message and a silver melody. Those are the ones you will find yourself singing when you or a loved one is dying. And they are also the ones which will outlast and still be sung by Christians when these new 10,000 choruses, with six words repeated twelve times, have long been forgotten like yellow polyester suits. Too many of these hollow but cute little jingles sung in church are like rap or hip hop in a bar. You have to drunk or stupid to like them. You seldom hear those great old hymns anymore, even in Fundamental, Independent Baptist Churches, but those old hymns lie quietly in old song books, in the closet, awaiting spiritual hunger and hard times. When the economy crashes, businesses go bankrupt, there is rioting in the streets, food stamps and welfare stop, and people are really suffering and hungry, that tiddledie winks little plastic chorus just ain't going to satisfy your soul or comfort your mind. The Old Rugged Cross is going to resurrect from that dusty old hymnal and be sweet to your ears and dry spirit. Listen to this great old hymn and let your born again self tell you how it compares with most of the miniature songs you hear in most churches these days.

My Younger Sister Died Today

Common Sense Commentary:

The benefits to her far exceed her lose. Alta was ... and still is a true, born again, believer in Jesus Christ as Lord of her life. Of all the hundreds of people I have seen in the dying process, her death was the most desirable. As the Apostle Paul said, "I .... having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better ...." Phil. 1:23. Her death was quick, almost painless and allowed her just enough time to say good-by to those she loved. Just three weeks ago, at 81, she drove the 150 miles, from her home, to visit our older sister Betty and my wife, Bettie, her best school-girl friend, and me. Alta was her usual vibrant, healthy self, and we had a happy time remembering. Back at home, she felt a little sick and saw her doctor two weeks ago. Within hours she was told she had a very fast developing cancer. Her three daughters rushed to her side  Our son Ron drove me, sister Betty and Betty's daughter to see Alta. We wanted to pray with her and comfort her and her girls ... but they were already comforted by our Great Comforter. Alta was weak and sleeping most of the time, but painless and looking forward to seeing our Lord, and her husband Ed, our Mom and Dad, and all her other friends and kin who preceded us to glory. Our brother Tommy joined us around Alta's bed. We four siblings, and everyone there, joined hands in prayer and praise to our wonderful, merciful Lord for the blessed hope we have in Christ. We left knowing we would not see our sister again, in this life, but would soon join her in God's glory. Alta died in perfect peace early this morning and was caught up into the glorious presence of Him who is "the way, the truth and the life". See you soon Sis. RB

When You Are Depressed Or Feel Sorry For Yourself ...Visit This Amazing Man

Common Sense Commentary: One of the saddest things I know is to hear perfectly healthy people with every modern convenience and everything to live for ... complain or gripe about the least little inconvenience, disappointment or pain. Strangely, it seems, those with the most "stuff" complain the most, especially those with the most government aid. They appear always to want more and more. Some of the happiest, most content people I have ever seen were living in grass huts with barely enough to survive but were singing the praises of God. When I was in High School there was a girl graduating whose father owned the G.M. dealership in our town. He gave her a new sports Chevy for her graduation present. She was so disappointed, she cried because it wasn't a Cadillac.

Jesus admonished complainers, "... murmur not among yourselves...." John 6:43.
Jude, speaking of wicked men, said, "These are murmurers, complainers...." Jude 16.
Apostle Paul was a Spirit filled spokesman for our Lord. One of the things which made him so was his contentment in Christ ... ".... I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." Phil.4:11. It was he who counseled young Timothy that "Godliness with contentment is great gain." 1Tim.6:6. Paul gave his reason, and ours, that we Christians should be content ...

Yes, your anti Christian war on us, our Bible, our Churches and, our Great God will, briefly, put your heresy and your anti-Christ on the World's Throne. But, for your eternal soul's sake, compare this little human angel, a Christian and a South Korean, with Mecca or North Korea. In 1950/51, as a Marine, I fought in North and South Korea. I saw hundreds of innocent South Koreans, hand tied behind them, shot in the back of the head, rotting in ditches on the road from South to North Korea. Because we went to South Korea's aid, when they were attacked by the North Korean atheistic Communists, and drove them back into North Korea, and saved their nation, they are now a great nation and have since become 25% professing Christians. Some of the largest Christian Churches in the world are in South Korea.  Here is the product of Christian Faith, Freedom, Love, The Holy Bible and Christian people who took the Gospel of Christ to the South Koreans. Compare this little Christian girl with what your false god and false doctrine produces... hate, beheadings, terrorism, broken lives and mass death. RB

Tomorrow's Cure For Today's Obesity Is Hunger

Common Sense Commentary: For whatsoever a nation sows, that shall it also reap.

If you are so put off at the money grubbing, greedy methods now employed by the companies you deal with on the phone these days, you haven't seen anything yet. The reason your cell phone, land line, Internet, TV, auto mechanic etc etc companies feel forced to squeeze more money out of you is because their suppliers are doing the same to them. Our failing free enterprise system is not because of capitalism or the American way, it is because our government leaders have allowed mentally deficient "experts" to undermine Free Enterprise, which has always worked, for their idea of "a better method" ... bigger government and socialism which has never worked.

Our government has put itself between a rock and a hard place. It is in a vice like squeeze between gargantuan debt and an unsustainable, near zero interest rate which is about to leap out of its rigged restraint and force them to reinvent another new name for Quantitative Easing (massive money printing).

Politicians created this mess in the national kitchen sink and have let the kitchen get so deep in rancid rotting grease that letting it explode and burn is their only option ... now. It cannot simply "be fixed". Since the U.S. dollar is the reserve currency of the world, we have not only abused our own resulting wealth, but have influenced the rest of the world down the same prim-rose path which has led us into a financial and moral abyss of terminal addiction to free everything from government.

Not only that, but all businesses are now feeling forced to look for lower costs from suppliers off shore, and are thereby causing more jobs lost here in the U.S. The rising costs of food are not because your grocer just decided to increase prices to make more money. His own prices for that supply of food are being raised on him. He can't stay in business if he doesn't pass the increase on to you and me. It is the government induced, failing American Free Enterprise System that has caused the problem.

What's happening in Ferguson, Missouri is not "all" about a cop shooting a young black man who was beating him up. There is a fever pitch developing in the most affected communities of our country because of a great loss of jobs, higher food, gas and other costs. The problem, created by our promiscuous, Liberal government, is getting out of hand and feeding upon itself.

One of the next shoes to fall will be, as the Fed tries to end "Quantitative Easing" (excessive money printing) which will cause interest rates to rise. The explosive reaction will be like trying to get a drug addict to kick his habit. In his foggy mind, that's like asking him to stop breathing. Kicking his mother, wife or the police is easier than kicking his drug addiction.

The Charlie McCarthy news media has mouthed the words of our Edgar Bergen government with a steady stream of false statistics, economic propaganda, free gov. money and a train load of other free stuff ... which has addicted the whole nation to a constant higher high.

Well folks, the only cure for today's free stuff drug high is tomorrow's cut-off of the "dope" supply.
Like I said in my title, "Tomorrow's Cure For Today's Obesity Is Hunger" and hunger drives average people to desperate actions to stay alive ... or doped up ... which ever hurts worse. RB
