Common Sense Commentary: This is a prophecy of Religious Rebellion, Responsibility, Accountability and Judgement ... followed by God's Grace....
Jeremiah 19 and 20
"Hear ye the word of the LORD .... O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem .... 19:3.
"Because they have forsaken me and they have estranged this place, and they have burned incense in it unto strange gods .... and they have filled this place with the blood of innocents; They have built also high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind." 19:4-5.
Therefore I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem ... and I will cause them to fall by the sword ... 19:6.
From this "I will" verse for the next 15 verses, God expresses His perfect "I will" twelve times against the people's rebellious self-will. After God defined the sins of Judah and Jerusalem, following His "Because they have forsaken me",
he then made His astounding refutation, opposition and rejection of their wicked deviancy, and he concluded with this Holy Response ... "Therefore" followed by 12 "I wills" of terrible judgement. Those judgement, concluded with the final one in Jer.20:5 in which God said he would give them "into the hand of their enemies, which shall carry them to Babylon".
This is a very revealing event in the history of the Jews. It is a one sided battle of wills between God's chosen people and Himself, in which only they were fighting... by their rebellion. God does not need to fight, he simply drops overwhelming judgement on the self-willed rebels against His perfect will.
Finally, 15 chapters later, to emphasize the Jews' sin of a perverted self-will against His perfect will, God repeats his refutation, opposition and rejection of their perverse, false worship by the sacrificing of their children to a false god. In Jer.35:32, He reiterates ... "And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin." It was not God's perfect will, but they had a permissive will and they did it anyway of their own self-will.
One last observation .... One verse after this second mention, God's grace, for the rebellious Jews, is promised to them ...."Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: And they shall be my people, and I will be their God: And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever...." Jeremiah 32:37-39

What We Allow Ourselves to "Think" Is What We Become ... What We Are
Common Sense Commentary: "...Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Phil.4:8.
When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them the ability to think and imagine. Imagination is a vital part of the thinking process. When we think, we can visualize or picture the things we are thinking about. Imagination is a good thing ... if our thoughts are of good things. God's word challenges us to think and visualise and even imagine good things. Of course we must be aware of and face the bad things which happen, but we can deal with evil, cruelty, sin and sickness best by a positive approach. There is a time to war, fight, even kill an evil enemy, and do those things with positive and even good thoughts, and still be in God's will. God often sent out the armies of Israel or a single "David" to fight and kill an evil Giant or an evil army. And God's word alludes to such times in all of our lives. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up... A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." Ecc.3:1-8.
You see, if our hearts are right with God and we are intent upon obeying Him and serving Him to the greatest of our ability, we can even go out and fight the Hitlers, Stalins, Castros, Ayatollah Khomeinis, Nazis, Communists, Religious Fanatics and terrorists of this world...not to mention rapists, thieves, drug pushers and corrupt politicians. They are all the representatives of Satan. Jesus said of such evil men and causes ...."Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him...." Jn.8:44.
The people, in the pre-flood days of Noah, had yielded to their wicked thoughts so completely that their every thought and imagination was corrupted to the point they were hopeless before God.... "And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually". Gen.6:5. So He destroyed them all except a small remnant of believers. After the flood it wasn't long before the descendants of the flood survivors were letting their evil imaginations take control of their minds as did their forefathers. "And the LORD said .... "and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." Gen.11:6.
In our thoughts of accomplishment, vacations, new cars and infatuations, the reality of the fulfillment of a thing is seldom as satisfying as the imagination and anticipation of it. Even sin may be satisfying for a few seconds, but long term peace and satisfaction only results from good thoughts, good actions and good accomplishments.
Every important action and accomplishment whether good or bad, begins as a seed of thought which grows into an imagination, and then a preoccupation of anticipation. No man can prevent bad thoughts entirely, but every man can prevent the thought from becoming an evil fantasy of imagination ... by yielding those sinful thoughts into the hands of God ... in prayer. Only God can neutralize evil thoughts. But if not dealt with in the thought stage, they will soon grow, like a cancer, into a preoccupation fantasy, and that into a sinful action, and that into a habit, and that into a life-time, and that into a grave and beyond into eternity.
I once heard an old preacher say, You may not be able to stop an evil bird of sinful thought from flying through your mind, but you can stop it from building a nest there.... with God's help. Refugees From The Rattlesnake Kingdom
Folks, these Rattlesnakes are in need of a home. They're refugees from the Rattlesnake Capital Of The World, pushed out by fear of snake hunters, invading common species and feral hogs. Just pick one out as your neighbor. Now, we think most of these are good snakes and won't bite you, but history has shown and we are sure... some of them, not real, true, religious rattlesnakes, will bite you without provocation. We can't tell you which of the snakes among the thousands are the ones that will kill you because they all came in together, look alike, and we can't tell which is which. We all know that rattlesnake profiling is wrong, illegal and wicked debauchery, so not to make a snake mistake, we will only pull out the elderly grandparent snakes who have canes and no fangs, but are responsible for the misdeeds of their young. In fact, statistics prove that rattlesnakes are only dangerous about 99 % of their lives, after age 3 days, when they are trained to seek out non-snakes for a bite. But, fear not, they won't eat you. So, our always politically correct, feral, federal government has promised to figure it all out, so don't worry about the really bad ones cause the majority of good ones only have the same ideology and only applaud the bad ones.... but have never bitten anyone themselves...yet. They are not all bad even though they all do have venom glands and fangs, we have been assured they are a peaceful folk. So who wants to give all these good snakes good homes, good jobs, good medical treatment, good security and ... good grief? After all they may not be rattlesnakes at all ... but fake snakes ... just looking for a home. Volunteers anyone?
To prove I'm not a raciest, I prefer mentally deranged, Atheist, Mexican drug pushers, some call "Wetbacks", but not me. At least they are Catholic. RB

The Man Who Refused A Pardon

Imagine being convicted of a crime you deeply regretted – intentional or unintentional – and being offered a pardon to absolve you of any penalty. Would you accept it? Let me tell you about a man who did not.
In 1829 two men, George Wilson and James Porter, robbed a United States mail carrier. Both were subsequently captured and tried in a court of law. In May 1830 both men were found guilty of six charges, including robbery of the mail “and putting the life of the driver in jeopardy.” Both Wilson and Porter received their sentences: Execution by hanging, to be carried out on July 2.
Porter was executed on schedule, but Wilson was not. Influential friends pleaded for mercy to the President of the United States, Andrew Jackson, on his behalf. President Jackson issued a formal pardon, dropping all charges. Wilson would have to serve only a prison term of 20 years for his other crimes. Incredibly, George Wilson refused the pardon!
An official report stated Wilson chose to “waive and decline any advantage or protection which might be supposed to arise from the pardon….” Wilson also stated he “…had nothing to say, and did not wish in any manner to avail himself in order to avoid sentence….” The U.S. Supreme Court determined, “The court cannot give the prisoner the benefit of the pardon, unless he claims the benefit of it…. It is a grant to him: it is his property; and he may accept it or not as he pleases.” Chief Justice John Marshall wrote, “A pardon is an act of grace, proceeding from the power entrusted with the execution of the laws…. (But) delivery is not completed without acceptance. It may then be rejected by the person to whom it is tendered, and…we have no power in a court to force it on him.”
George Wilson committed a crime, was tried and found guilty. He was sentenced for execution, but a presidential decree granted him a full pardon. When he chose to refuse that pardon, he chose to die. Reading this amazing story, we might wonder, “How could anyone refuse a pardon for the death sentence? The man was a fool!” But what if you also are refusing a pardon, one enabling you to spend eternity in the presence of God rather than eternal separation from Him in a place the Bible calls hell?
The Bible plainly teaches we all are sinners, people who have repeatedly broken God’s laws. For instance, Romans 3:23 states, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Another verse says,“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8).
What about the penalty of sin – what are the consequences? We are told, “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). The Old Testament concurs: “The soul that sins, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4). That does not sound like good news, but God has provided a pardon, one He makes available to us all.
In 2 Peter 3:9 we read, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise…. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” Later, 1 John 1:9 explains we must accept this pardon:“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
If you have not already done so, the question is this: Will you receive or reject the pardon? We each must choose.“Whoever believes in him is not condemned: but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (John 3:18).

Five More Muslim Men Caught At AZ Border With Steel Cylinders
So Obama will say they are just plumbers looking for work.
Common Sense Commentary: Anybody who gets across the Arizona, Texas or N.M. border, with other than terrorist intentions, will be carrying water, food, survival gear, and maybe drugs, not stainless steel cylinders for pipe bombs. Our Southern border states estimate that fewer illegals are caught at their borders than succeed in getting through. That being the case, how many of these Muslim terrorists are getting into our country successfully, not counting those Obama is letting in as "legal immigrants"? Middle Eastern Men Arrested Near Mexican Border with Steel Cylinders
Five young Middle Eastern men were apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol this week in an Arizona town situated about 30 miles from the Mexican border, law enforcement and other sources told Judicial Watch.
Border Patrol agents spotted the men crossing a ranch property in the vicinity of Amado, which is located about 35 miles south of Tucson and has a population of 275. Two of the Middle Eastern men were carrying stainless steel cylinders in backpacks, JW’s sources say, alarming Border Patrol officials enough to call the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for backup. A multitude of federal agents descended on the property and the two men carrying the cylinders were believed to be taken into custody by the FBI.
Only three of the men’s names were entered in the Border Patrol’s E3 reporting system, which is used by the agency to track apprehensions, detention hearings and removals of illegal immigrants. E3 also collects and transmits biographic and biometric data including fingerprints for identification and verification of individuals encountered at the border. The other two men were listed as “unknown subjects,” which is unheard of, according to a JW federal law enforcement source. “In all my years I’ve never seen that before,” a veteran federal law enforcement agent told JW.
The disturbing incident comes just days after six men—one from Afghanistan, five from Pakistan—were arrested in nearby Patagonia, a quaint ranch town that sits 20 miles north of the Mexican border city of Nogales. Federal authorities have confirmed the November 17 arrests and a local news outlet published a story that includes an official statement from the Border Patrol. Special Agent Kurt Remus in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Phoenix headquarters told JW that the agency’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces vetted and interviewed the six men and determined that there were “no obvious signs of terrorism” so they were returned to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.
However, Special Agent Remus told JW that there is no record of this week’s incident in Amado and that he knew nothing about it. JW also put in a call to DHS headquarters, but received no response. In the last year JW has broken a number of stories involving serious terrorist threats on the southern border that were disputed on the record by various Obama administration officials. Common Sense Commentary: Anybody who gets across the Arizona, Texas or N.M. border, with other than terrorist intentions, will be carrying water, food, survival gear, and maybe drugs, not stainless steel cylinders for pipe bombs. Our Southern border states estimate that fewer illegals are caught at their borders than succeed in getting through. Where were Muslims during World War II? They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi's in killing Jews.
Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001? If they weren't flying planes into the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle East . No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other cable news network's that day. Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo , Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.
And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here in America ....

Tell Me My Father, Why Are You Still Wearing All That Desert Stuff ?
Common Sense Commentary: I understand the Sahara Desert was once a fertile, lush, fruitful paradise populated with people. But something happened .....
A young Arab boy asks his father, "What is that weird hat you are wearing?"
The father says, "Why, it's a 'chechia' because in the desert it protects our heads from the sun."
"And what is this type of clothing you are wearing?" asks the young man.
"It's a 'djbellah' because in the desert it is very hot and it protects our bodies from the sun and helps us perspire and keep cool" says the father.
The son asks, "And what about those ugly shoes on your feet?"
His father replies, "These are ‘babouches' which keep us from burning our feet in the desert."

"Why are you living in Dearborn, Michigan, and still wearing all this desert stuff ?"

Cruz: Most violent criminals

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said late Monday that
most violent criminals also identify as Democrats.
“Here is the simple and undeniable fact – the
overwhelming majority of violent criminals are
Democrats,” he said on “The Hugh Hewitt Show” that evening.
"There is a reason why for years the Democrats have been viewed as soft on crime,” Cruz continued. "they go in and appoint to the bench judges who release violent criminals.
“They go in and fight to give the right to vote to convicted felons,” the 2016 GOP presidential candidate added. "Why?
“The Democrats know that convicted felons tend to vote Democrat. The media never reports on any of that. [It] doesn’t want to admit any of that.”
Cruz then argued that the mainstream media often tries linking violent crime with the GOP, even when such ties are nonexistent.
“Every time you have some sort of violent crime or mass killing you can almost see the media salivating, hoping, hoping desperately that the murderer happens to be a Republican so that they can use it to try and paint their political enemies,” he said.
“You can see that every time there’s a terrible crime they’re so excited – ‘come on, please be a Republican so we can try and paint the other side,’” Cruz said. "It is one of the more egregious examples of media bias and something we see over and over again."
Cruz and Hewitt were discussing last week’s mass shooting at a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Robert Lewis Dear, the alleged gunman, killed three people and wounded nine others after opening fire there the night of Nov. 27.
He then reportedly uttered the phrase “no more baby parts” upon entering police custody last weekend. Police have since repeatedly stressed that it is unclear whether the organization’s abortion policies inspired Dear’s alleged rampage.
Cruz charged Monday that Dear’s purported actions do not represent the values of the pro-life movement.
“I would note that this whole episode has really displayed the ugly underbelly of the media,” he said, noting some news outlets that had suggested potential links between Dear and anti-abortion supporters.
