What Is The Problem In The Middle East About Israel?

Common Sense Commentary: For anyone in the world, who knows the history of the Jews, who knows the facts about the continual conflict on all the borders of Israel, cannot honestly blame Israel for defending themselves against the Muslims who surround them. There is a world of difference in attacking someone and in being attacked. Self defence of one's self against an attacker is a given in the laws of every nation on earth. Israel would have been overrun a dozen times since 1948, and a second Holocaust effected if they had not resisted the hoards of Muslim fanatics who are constantly attacking them and using terroristic killings against them for nearly sixty years. How they have succeeded, thus far, in not only surviving but thriving as a nation, is a mystery to the world. It is not a mystery to them or to Christians who study Bible prophecy. God revealed the mystery in His word. He has determined their fate. He will continue to protect them and anyone who is in opposition to God's will and purpose for the Jews is very, very very unwise and has set themselves against God. RB

South Dakota Republican Party Calls For Impeachment Of Obama

Common Sense Commentary: I would hope the majority of Americans, and especially the US Congress, will follow up this heroic act for justice and integrity by South Dakota Conservatives. It is worthy of mention that nearly half of the South Dakota Republican Party were against this action. In my judgement that fact also reflects the same percentage of cowardly weakness on a national level, within the Republican Party, as well. The national Republican Party and seemingly Republican Congress members too, are only about ten inches or half a pound better than all the Democrats.

It is unbelievable that most American citizens have not seen the Presidents continuous abuse of power and clear partiality toward both Islam and Communism. He has ruled by by-passing Congress and legislating his personal will by his continuous issuance of Executive Orders. He has lied more than any previous President and possibly any Congressman in our history. Why there has not already been a ground-swell demand for his impeachment is beyond all reason. The South Dakota Republican Party state convention passed a resolution calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama Saturday.


The resolution says Obama has “violated his oath of office in numerous ways.” It specifically cites the release of five Taliban combatants in a trade for captive U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl, Obama’s statement that people could keep insurance companies, and recent EPA regulations on power plants. “Therefore, be it resolved that the South Dakota Republican Party calls on our U.S. Representatives to initiate impeachment proceedings against the president of the United States,” the resolution reads.


Allen Unruh of Sioux Falls sponsored the resolution.
“I’ve got a thick book on impeachable offenses of the president,” Unruh said, calling on South Dakota to “send a symbolic message that liberty shall be the law of the land.”


Delegate David Wheeler of Beadle County disagreed.
“I believe we should not use the power of impeachment for political purposes,” Wheeler said. “By doing this, we would look petty, like we can’t achieve our political goals through the political process.” Larry Eliason of Potter County agreed, noting that he opposed the impeachment resolution even though “the only thing (Obama’s) done the last six years that I approve of is when he adopted a pet.”


But Larry Klipp of Butte County, a retired Marine, said matters go beyond mere political disagreements with Obama. “If anyone in this room cannot see the horrendous, traitorous scandals run by the Obama administration, I will pray for you,” Klipp said. “If anyone in this room cannot see the horrendous, traitorous scandals run by the Obama administration, I will pray for you,” Klipp said.

How Are Aborted Babies Disposed Of ? (We Really Must Face Up To This)

Common Sense Commentary: Most people know what is happening but close their eyes and ears to this legal slaughter of babies because they know it is wrong but they do nothing about it. These babies are not slaughtered in the womb (though some are poisoned there) but are alive when forcibly "born" as they are ripped out of their mother's womb. Many, or most, are cremated (burned in fire) and their ashes disposed of in garbage dumps. Some are simply bagged and sent directly to the garbage dump where they are often burned with the rest of the trash or buried in garbage. If you are guilty of this, do not ever criticize anyone else for any sin or excess they may be guilty of, but seek forgiveness and peace for yourself from God. He forgives even abomination. RB

One of the most convenient things about abortion is that it takes care of the perceived “problem” in a permanent way—people walk into the abortion clinic with a child growing inside them, and leave after the child’s forcible eviction. The pro-life movement tries to prevent people from entering the abortion clinic in the first place, and urges people to seek healing if they decide to go through with the abortion after all.

So what happens to the babies after they are killed?

Some, we know, are cremated. Others are tossed in the trash, and discovered by pro-lifers like Dr. Monica Miller, who dutifully record their fate and give them the funeral and respect their humanity demands. But what about the other babies—the ones shipped off in containers and sealed buckets to pathology labs? When searching for the answer to that question, I found a series of horrifying testimonies on a Student Doctor Network Forum hosted by St. George’s University. On the discussion board, those who worked with the bodies of aborted babies shared their horror at what they saw.

“Anyone get tripped on these?” one wrote (spelling and grammar errors his), “I’m talking especially the big ones, where you can actually make out facial expressions like they knew they were being hacked the hell up (im serious). I almost went bonkers once over one, that is some scary crap. Am I the only pathologist who freaks when a 0.5 cm eye ball comes rolling out of bag and stares right at you…I know we are thinking this, just no one in pathology is talking about it.”

Another pathologist, identifying himself as “Andy Milonakis,” responded by saying, “Totally trippy man. We get a fair number of fragmented fetuses from abortion procedures and they come in a container with formalin. The fact that they’re all hacked up is disturbing to begin with. Of course, there is the whole eyeball issue which freaks me out as well. Echoing in my mind is the sound effects from the movie Psycho…Reee Reee Reee Reee Reee Reee Reee!”

The original poster continued, describing an absolutely nightmarish scene:

“One incident really freaked me, it was a boy fetus, at least 3+ pounds, around 24+ weeks. It sat decomposing because the rest of the staff was AFRAID of it, Im not joking. Then the chief of staff told me to deal with it because I was the _______ new guy so I went to work. Pulled out 2 well formed arms and then the torso, headless. The head was at the bottom of the container, when I pulled it, he had this expression of such utter horror it flipped me wayyyy out, my PA saw it and ran, literally left work and went on disability (Im serious here). It was like a headless screaming baby, like it had been born at least for a split second to realize it was _______ and let out one agonal yelp. The story of this reverberated around the department, someone actually accused me of doing what should have been a ME case and threatened to call the medical board! Im not joking, I woke up once shortly after that in a cold sweat with ___ running down my leg….not pretty.”

It is the eyes, it seems, that disturbs those dealing with the corpses of butchered pre-born children the most.

What Foods Are Forbidden By The New Testament ?

Common Sense Commentary: I must introduce this blog by saying, if a child or adult has already developed an allergy to certain foods or anything else, they certainly have to avoid that thing. Nevertheless, without allergic reactions, literally all foods are acceptable to eat. That is made clear in this verse...."Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry (common today), and commanding to abstain from meats, (also common) which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving; For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer." 1 Tim.4:1-5. This verse is in reference to those people who have a personal revulsion to, or belief, it is wrong to eat certain foods and convince others of their false theories. Their concern should be on what comes out of their mouths more than what foods go into it. Jesus addressed this fallacy in Matt.15:9-12 ... "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:  Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?" 

Moderation is always in order no matter what is being eaten. Phil.4:5. "Let your moderation be known...." Your vision will usually "Let it be known" who is "moderate" in their eating and who is not.

Some people won't touch pork, ham or bacon because it was not on the Old Testament list of "clean" animals. But God had Simon Peter eating "all manner" of animals. We know that some Jews ate pork because there was a pig farmer, or is that a rancher, in Matt. 8, who had a bunch of pigs. I can't imagine how he managed to stay in business in Israel. Pigs only have one use. They don't give milk or lay eggs and footballs were unknown at that time.  He may have been violating Leviticus, but somebody around there had bacon for breakfast cause you don't milk pigs or ride them to the rodeo. Neither do they keep the weeds grazed down in the field like sheep or goats, or make the best of pets ... I'm sure God doesn't care if you have a dog, cat or a pig as a pet.

I read, a while back, that allergies were such a problem these days because children were never allowed to play in the dirt or touch anything unclean and they failed to develop a strong immune system.  When I was a boy, all we had to play with was dirt, sticks and rocks, and took a bath once a week ... in cold water. Jim Powell and I also wandered the dry, hot sandy hills of west Texas and drank brown water out of cow tanks (ponds) with the cows standing in the water drinking with us.

There are a ton of people who won't eat "red meat" of any kind for any one of a dozen health reasons, others who won't eat "the other white meat", but, again, Jesus told Peter to "arise, kill and eat".  The record: "I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me: Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat. But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth. But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common." Acts 11:5-9. God would not have used that object lesson, illustrating his acceptance of Gentiles, if it were still unlawful to eat certain kinds of meat. It would have been an unthinkable contradiction.

 Then, there are folks who feel fish are too chancy to eat because they spoil so easily or have a fishy taste. Some are also allergic to shell fish, or think they may be, because of that fishy smell.  I don't know what they are supposed to smell like. I was once allergic to shell fish ... oysters.  They made me queasy one time when Ron McNeil and Johnny Queen and I were somewhere and each ordered a dozen raw oysters. One of those wise-guys insisted on paying the  entire bill, so the other said "OK, you can pay for it but I am ordering another round for each of us for which I will pay." So we each ate another dozen.  That second dozen was almost as good as the first dozen but, though I had dined sufficiently, I was now feeling guilty and insisted on ordering another round for each of us. It was that third dozen I was allergic to.  I know there was something wrong with that last round because it made all three of us queasy at the same time .... on that thirty sixth oyster. We almost lost all 108 oysters that day and the money, plus tip, we paid for them. We all discovered, at the same time, that we were allergic to shell fish. But the allergy must have cured me; I still like them .... but only when I am alone... on the coast ... in Florida ... at Joe's Raw Oyster Place ... in Steinhatchie or Apalachicola.  Haven't been back in years ... Was only there once.

Then there are vegetarians who eat no meat at all, and others who won't eat eggs or milk or potatoes or tomatoes or even cereals. I saw an add which called grains and grain products, "Cow feed" and warned of its dangers.  If that is true, you had better not eat honey which is bee food, or any vegetables which are bug food... at least in our garden.

Romans 14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye.... For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs (vegetables).  Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.  Who art thou that judgest .... One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind....  He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks....But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.... So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean .... But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.... For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.... For meat destroy not the work of God. Study: Vegetarians Less Healthy, Lower Quality Of Life Than Meat-Eaters

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) – Vegetarians may have a lower BMI and drink alcohol sparingly, but vegetarian diets are tied to generally poorer health, poorer quality of life and a higher need for health care than their meat-eating counterparts.

A new study from the Medical University of Graz in Austria finds that vegetarians are more physically active, drink less alcohol and smoke less tobacco than those who consume meat in their diets. Vegetarians also have a higher socioeconomic status and a lower body mass index. But the vegetarian diet — characterized by a low consumption of saturated fats and cholesterol that includes increased intake of fruits, vegetables and whole-grain products — carries elevated risks of cancer, allergies and mental health disorders.

Vegetarians were twice as likely to have allergies, a 50 percent increase in heart attacks and a 50 percent increase in incidences of cancer.

The cross-sectional study from Austrian Health Interview Survey data and published in PLos One examined participants dietary habits, demographic characteristics and general lifestyle differences.

The most significant dietary habit difference between meat-eaters and vegetarians concerned their BMI and alcohol consumption – with both being higher for those who consume meat.

Many past studies have instead put an emphasis on the health risks associated with red meat and carnivorous diets, but this study points the other dietary direction.

Overall, vegetarians were found to be in a poorer state of health compared to other dietary groups. Vegetarians reported higher levels of impairment from disorders, chronic diseases, and “suffer significantly more often from anxiety/depression.”

Subjects who consumed lower amounts of animal fat were also linked to poor health care practices, such as avoidance of vaccinations and a lack of preventive care.

Chronic problems associated with vegetarians and people eating carnivorous diets rich in fruits and vegetables were linked to more frequent visits to doctors, which the study authors suggest requires public health programs to reduce the health risk due to their nutritional factors.

The researchers conclude: “Our study has shown that Austrian adults who consume a vegetarian diet are less healthy (in terms of cancer, allergies, and mental health disorders), have a lower quality of life, and also require more medical treatment.”

“Therefore, a continued strong public health program for Austria is required in order to reduce the health risk due to nutritional factors.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that healthy diets rich in fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases for all dietary groups. A 2009 study from the CDC found that about 1 in 200 young Americans, or 367,000 US children, are vegetarians.

Which do you feel is a real, true, loyal American?  Which do you feel has the highest moral standards?  Which do you feel has a deep, abiding love for America?  Would to God there were more Pat Boones and fewer Barack Obamas in our country. In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!" The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed." And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he foreswore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are. But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?" You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president. You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"? In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian.." Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson 's intent with that statement? Or, wait a minute: were your ideas about America 's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that " America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that " America has been arrogant"? Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be "considered a Muslim nation"? Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"? Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers. Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran ? Even in Egypt ? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"? It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize. Before we get started here, do me a favor. Go to the Internet and search "supreme court justice Clarence Thomas" and click on "images." And leave it up while you read.

Harry Reid is railing against "white men" on the U.S. Supreme Court. Harry, Senate majority leader and one grumpy old man, is angry that the Court ruled 5-4 in favor of Hobby Lobby recently in a major case involving religious freedom.

In case you don't know what the Hobby Lobby decision was about, here it is: the Hobby Lobby company didn't want to be forced by the Affordable Health Care Act (ObamaCare) to pay for four specific kinds of birth control. ObamaCare mandates 20 different kinds. Specifically, Hobby Lobby objected to the kinds of drugs that induce abortion. The company said it did not object to the 16 other forms of contraception that prevent pregnancy from occurring in the first place.

Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Wood, both owned by Christian families, took their case all the way up to the Supreme Court. They argued that it violated their religious convictions to pay for abortion-inducing drugs as part of providing health insurance coverage for employees. The high court agreed in a 5-4 decision, and the political left birthed a cow.

Now, just a few days removed from the Supreme Court announcement, Reid and some fellow Democrats are saying they will introduce legislation that would overturn the court's decision. Not sure how they expect to do that. Here is how Reid articulated it: "... The one thing we are going to do during this work period, sooner rather than later, is to ensure that women's lives are not determined by virtue of five white men. This Hobby Lobby decision is outrageous and we are going to do something about it."

"Outrageous," Harry? This is where the Democratic Party is today? If a private company will not pay for an employee to have an abortion it's "outrageous" and women's lives are in danger? Seriously? It's not like the women who work for Hobby Lobby can't go buy these drugs on their own. Nor did the Supreme Court outlaw the drugs themselves. But this is not good enough for the rabidly pro-abortion forces in Washington like Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama.

Still have Clarence Thomas images in front of you? He is one of the five justices who agreed with Hobby Lobby. Looking at the images, is there anything about Thomas that might lead you to believe he is white? And this is our Senate majority leader for the United States of America, Reid, who either doesn't know that Thomas is black or forgot. I'm not sure which is worse ...

And what does the justices being "white" or "men" have to do with anything? If all the whites and all the men on the nine-member Supreme Court recused themselves from this case there would only be left one justice to decide -- Sonia Sotomayor, a Hispanic Catholic. And even though she is a self-described "wise Latina woman," that's still a lot of pressure on one person.

It's curious that those who say "white men" cannot judge certain laws concerning women impartially never said a word when one openly homosexual federal judge in California overturned the votes of 7 million voters in the Golden State who supported natural marriage.

But what to do about Harry -- the man who said Obama would make a good candidate because he was "light-skinned" and had "no Negro dialect unless he wanted to have one." (Back in 2002, Trent Lott was ousted as leader of the Senate for lesser words than that.) I'm not sure who can reason with Harry right now. This is one angry white dude.

What Are We Supposed To Be Doing Here .... In God's Eyes ?

Common Sense Commentary: "O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return." Jer.15:3.


God's Holy word, His Spirit and Messengers are sent to adv eyes,
And not to apologeyes, compromeyes, dramateyes or criticeyes,
But to preach and teach the Gospel Of Christ, and to eulogeyes
His purity, love, forgiveness and sacrificial death to emphaseyes
That sinners who hear might open their hearts and realeyes
How bad sin is, then to confess, repent and deeply agoneyes
Til they accept God's love, grace and forgiveness and so areyes
To walk in His Spirit, grow in grace and their time prioriteyes
Then, go forth to organeyes, mobileyes, evangeleyes and bapteyes.
This, we Christians are supposed to be doing under God's eyes....

Obamanation's Abomination (With Webster's Definition, Biblical Example & A Woman's Brilliance)

Common Sense Commentary: Noah Webster is one of my all time favorite Historic, American Characters. The roots of Webster's Dictionary of today reach all the way back to his original of 1806 which he continued to improve throughout his life. The version I have used, since I was in Seminary, is the Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary Copyrighted in 1953. In that version, Webster defines the word Abomination , "Extreme disgust and hatred; abhorrence; loathing; detestation; shamefully vile; foreboding; ominous." Noah Webster was a Christian and understood the Biblical use of the word, and even published a Webster's version of the Bible. It is one of the best translations but I have always used and prefer above all others, the King James Bible. Though written in Old English language, it is, nevertheless, the most accurate to the Textus Receptus or Received Texts.

An example of Biblical Abomination is, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination...." Lev.20:13.

Abomination? We Cannot Argue With God: We May Argue...He Will Act

Common Sense Commentary:  Both the Hebrew and Greek languages of the Bible define the word abomination as "An impure, detestable thing".

Webster defines the word Abomination , "Extreme disgust and hatred; abhorrence; loathing; detestation; shamefully vile; foreboding; ominous."

The word "Abomination" is used about 150 times in the Bible.


To be guilty of committing an abomination, a person must, themselves, "choose" to yield to certain temptations and "delight" in it. Isa. 66:3  Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. They have "chosen their own way, and delighted in their abomination"  That puts the fault of their sin squarely upon their own willful "choice".


Homosexuality Is An Abomination
Leviticus 18:22   Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 
Leviticus 20:13   If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination ... their blood shall be upon them. 
1 Kings 14:24   And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

Proverbs 16:12   It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness. I have heard it said that "God raises up all kings". That is a misinterpretation of Daniel 2:21..."And he .... removeth kings, and setteth up kings...." This verse does not say that God removes all kings or sets up all kings. He no doubt sets up and removes some kings, not all kings. God makes that clear in Hosea 8:4 "They have set up kings, but not by me...."

You Raise Me Up To More Than I Can Be

Common Sense Commentary: There are Few things a human being can do which is more important than assisting another, more needy person,  or encouraging a more helpless person, or reaching out to the old or young with a helping hand, or giving a kind word to everyone, or a bit of money to a street singer who has come on hard times but retains his integrity and shares his talent. Here he is singing "You Raise Me Up" to a street full of strangers. They received more than they gave ... You can see it in their faces. RB
