The only future way to help the "needy" is not to demand the "government do it" or the rich people do it. The government is bankrupt and has no money except what it takes away from working people who might not voluntarily give it if not for the threat of incarceration. The very rich are so few in number, 1%, that if their wealth were divided equally among the entire population, it wouldn' be enough for a single meal. Besides, they have the right to do as they please with their wealth and should be wise enough to help others, but not be compelled to do so. So.... here is Plan "A" for helping the
"faultless" needy (children, aged, handicapped, sick, and jobless but anxious to work)
Plan "A" The Christian (Jesus) method:
"If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? " Jm.2:15-16 (No mention of the government there).
The best way, the Jesus way, is for YOU and ME to do it.
YOU help those
YOU think need help and deserve it, and I'll help those I think deserve it. And if they prove otherwise, we won't help them for long, whereas, the government does it for life. In order to do that in any significant degree, you must prepare yourself to gain wealth, for charity purposes of course, by every possible, moral means. That would include education, experience, hard work, savings, frugality, sacrifice, and good investments. Make yourself rich, not for your own benefit and luxury, of course, but in order to help those "needy" people
YOU think the government (with other people's money) should help. Yes, I said that. Make yourself rich for their sake.... not yours. Its the "
love" of money that is the root of all evil, not money itself.
"Whoso hath this world's goods, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his ... compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?" 1 Jn,3:17. (No mention of the government there).
If you are not willing to go to that trouble and expense,
the Christian way, and do it yourself, because of your laziness, selfishness or
no true empathy for those you think needy, you are an inconsistent, Socialist Democrat. If you would truly like to be a "Good Samaritan", who helps people, do as the good Samaritan did.
Take it upon yourself (Lk.10:30-35).
Use YOUR own money to lift up the needy and take care of them as much as you wish.
Our government is broker than broke, insolvent, bankrupt, overdrawn, busted, counterfeiting money, and trying to pay the way of half of all American citizens, plus visa visitors and illegal aliens. That has to stop and it is now within imminent view of stopping.... ceasing ... crashing ... soon. When that happens, these "birth-right" forever entitled, welfare recipient families will be in dire straights and demanding that somebody step up and take care of them. Are you ready for that ... when the government has no money and yours will barely buy bread. What are you going to do when the gravy train comes in empty?
So, if you don't want to get rich, to help others, with Plan "A", so you can support those
YOU think are "needy", there is another plan to help the
"faulty" needy ( those who say they spent their money on booze, smokes, entertainment, gambling, drugs, prostitutes and wasted the rest). This is Plan "B".
Plan "B" The Socialist (Judas) method:
"Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair....Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Just follow the instructions, with your name in the blank, and you will become rich without a job, and able to help those "needy" that you are so concerned about. But hurry up and get started

giving, lest when you see how easy it is to get free money, you decide you too deserve to be poor and needy like those other poor and needy you are concerned about. In that case, forget about those you were so concerned about and think about yourself. Google those same gov. agencies, and when you get all those monthly checks, your true nature will pop right out and you will become that rich man ... you so loved to hate. .. before you got rich on free money. But, wait a minute, "rich" means "poor" when a loaf of Loafer's Bread costs 59,000 pieces of wallet sized green paper with Obama's picture on it. Yes, yes, yes, too many dollars ... called "inflation", robs the purchasing power of those rich, tax paying idiots who have stacks of the worthless stuff and it makes them poor too. But the original poor have nothing to lose except welfare, medicaid, food stamps, housing assistance, free medicine, free emergency room treatment, unearned income tax credits, and ObamaCare. As the magician said, "Waalaa", we are all finally on the same level now .... all on the bottom and nobody on the top, so we will all have to get a job and pay our own way ... But there are now no jobs to be had. Those rich, greedy money grubbing, store and factory owners have lost their businesses, their money, homes and wives. They are the men just ahead of you in the job line at McDonalds.
This is why God gave the job of charity to churches and neighbors. Because they are right there, close by, to see the true need and also see that the healthy needy are willing to work, and will cut off financial assistance if the needy who are also drunks, drug addicts, smokers, wasteful or too fat to work. Local neighbors and churches would especially aid the young, very old, handicapped, abandoned wives and widows with children. The church I pastored nearly 30 years founded and ran the large city Food Bank, the city Rescue Mission, the city Children's Home and helped individuals and families who were truly needy and could not help themselves. I pastored many of my readers and they know this is so. It is God's way.... and it works. Plan A works. Plan B doesn't. RB
