Oregon Shooter Looking For Christians To Kill

This from Newsmax

President Barack Obama on Thursday angrily called for stricter U.S. gun laws after the latest mass murder in Oregon and took aim at the powerful National Rifle Association gun lobby for blocking reform.
Appearing in the White House briefing room with a grim expression and an angry tone, Obama said it was not enough to offer prayers after major shootings continued to occur regularly throughout the country.
"As I said just a few months ago, and I said just a few months before that, and I said each time we see one of these mass shootings, our thoughts and prayers are not enough," Obama told reporters after the latest shooting at a community college in which 13 people were killed and some 20 people were wounded.

My Common Sense Commentary:

Yes, Mr. Obama, we do need to do "something" to stop these lunatic mass murderers. But we must not break the U.S. Constitutional Rights of all Americans to "Keep and bear arms", as you dumb donkey Democrats insist upon. If we did that, no American would be safe anywhere in the land because the only people who would then have guns are agents of our tyrannical, Socialist Government which wants complete control of everyone, and Criminals who would never admit they had a stolen gun or give it up. That gun is the tool of their trade.

So, as usual, you donkey Democrats are walking, lock-step, in a long line of donkeys, each looking at the south end of a brother  donkey going north and can't see the clear face of any problem. Whether it be guns, abortion, gay marriage, welfare, debt, drugs , Islam or free enterprise, you are always wrong. The answer to the Lunatic mass murder problem is simple. In almost every case of mass murder, the only person who had a gun, at the scene of the crime, was the killer. In the few cases where a cop, security guard or a Concealed Carry Citizens had a gun, they put a stop to the killer. In states where upstanding, licensed citizens are allowed their Constitutional Right to "Keep and bear arms", the crime rate is decreased in direct proportion to the percentage of Concealed Carry permits in that state. Most such crimes are in larger cities, where Democrats are in control, and no non-government citizen is allowed to carry a gun.

One thing Obama neglected to address, in his comments, is that the Oregon shooter was asking those he shot if they were Christians and then shot those who said they were. That Mr. Obama is a hate crime.

I encourage every male and some female good citizens to do as Jesus told his disciples to do .... "Then said he unto them .... he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough." Luke 22:36 & 38.

So, first buy a gun, but even more importantly, learn to use it properly and safely. Take a "gun use" class. There are classes in every city. When you learn how to use a gun safely, go to the rifle range in your area and practice and keep practicing until your gun feels like an extension of your hand. I keep mine loaded with the safety off so that I always know it is hot, but I don't recommend that for a beginner. Read up on the use of guns and practice often or don't even buy a gun. You can't afford to have one if you are not proficient in its use. And never leave it where a child can find it. A sword is not as dangerous as a gun, but I am sure those two disciples, who were already carrying one, knew how to use them.

Last word. If you are not going to take classes on gun use and practice at the range, DO NOT BUY A GUN. If you are past 70 it is too late to even start handling guns, in my opinion. Forgetfulness can be a disaster ... with guns. RB

Tenn. Lt. governor to ‘fellow Christians’

in America: It’s time to buy guns

In the wake of a gunman targeting Christians at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, taking the lives of nine people before being killed by police, Tennessee Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey is encouraging Christians in America to arm themselves, according to The Tennessean.
The lawmaker posted a message Friday on Facebook that said “whether the perpetrators are motivated by aggressive secularism, jihadist extremism or racial supremacy, their targets remain the same: Christians and defenders of the West.”
Witnesses have said the Oregon shooter asked victims if they were Christian, with those who answered yes being shot in the head.
“Good, because you’re a Christian, you are going to see God in just about one second,” the killer reportedly said, according to one student in the room.
Ramsey, a Republican who also serves as speaker of the state senate, called on Christians to protect themselves by getting a concealed weapon permit.
“I would encourage my fellow Christians who are serious about their faith to think about getting a handgun carry permit,” he wrote. “I have always believed that it is better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it.
“Our enemies are armed. We must do likewise.”
But not all were in agreement with Ramsey’s stance that Christians should take steps to avoid being led to slaughter like sheep.
Democratic state Rep. John Ray Clemmons issued a statement saying the lieutenant governor’s remarks “reek of fear mongering and religious crusading.”
