Common Sense Commentary: His mother said he was "a good boy". Half the country swore he was killed because of his race. The News Media portrayed him as "The Gentle Giant", an innocent teenager and printed pictures of him at a much younger age. The policeman who shot him was made to be the villain, a racist, an out of control cop. A national uproar was the result and still rages on after months. Now, we see the truth about this innocent child who wouldn't think of attacking a policeman. Turn off your speaker ... the language is bad ... if you can understand any of this getto language at all. You say I am unsympathetic. I feel deeply for this poor old black gentleman who lost his wallet, his backpack and nearly his life. I have great sympathy for the officer who lost his job, career and lives in fear today. How do half the people in a country get so callous, mentally deranged and utterly wicked? Why didn't this old black gentleman come forward? He didn't have the video. Who would believe him? Would you come forward if you lived in this neighborhood with no money no other place to go and in fear of your life?

I feel justice was finally done.
Beating a helpless older man led him down the path to the bullet that could care less how macho he thought he was.
So sad
So sad indeed that we are so blind to the realization of what the lack of christian based leadership leads to in every society.
We need Nehemiah's example of crying, fasting and praying for our country. The walls have indeed fallen in.
