Let's Get The Scourge Of Drug Addiction Back In Focus

Common Sense Commentary: Drug pushers are the worst kind of criminals .... THINK !

Every human life is precious because God created us in His own image and likeness. The first institution, marriage and the home, was also established by Him for the welfare, nurturing and training of its members. Christ's church was instituted to assist the family in that endeavour with a primary spiritual emphasis.

Satan's sole interest is, since he failed in his attack against God, is attacking and destroying those created in the image and likeness of God ... the human race. He therefore, not only attacks the individual soul, but the family and Christ's churches as well. If he can divide, neutralize and destroy the family, he can hinder the work and ministry of the church, and drag down homes and the souls of  millions of those created in God's image and likeness. Though he can destroy families and hinder churches,  Jesus said he cannot "prevail" against the true churches. (Matt.16:18)

The "war" against the drug culture is actually a huge part in the conflict I call "The Battle Of The Ages".... Satan against God. It began in heaven with Lucifer trying to dethrone God as recorded in Isa.14:12-15. The conflict against God continued in the Garden of Eden with the Serpent's attack upon the first home and its members created in God's image and likeness.... and then upon their children.

The Battle Of The Ages continues even today, around the world. One of Satan's most effective weapons in this spiritual war is drug addiction. Drug addiction is extremely hard to break and reeks havoc on millions of addicts, their families and all of society. Most crimes today are drug related and the costs of the drugs, the resulting crimes, incarcerations, health care and eternal souls is incalculable.
This plague of drug abuse is pervasive and increasing in its maniacal grip on millions of lives.

Drug addiction and drug dealing will still be a major hindrance to repentance of sin in the Great Tribulation Period, at the end of this age, described in the book of The Revelation:

The Greek word for drug abuse, (pharmakia) is translated "sorceries" in The Revelation:

 Revelation 9:21   Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries (pharmakia = drug abuse), nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts." All of these are intensified by drug abuse. 

Revelation 18:23   And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom (Christ)and of the bride (Christ's Church) shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries (pharmakia = drug abuse) were all nations deceived.  Drug abuse will dull the reasoning powers of all nations.

Revelation 21:8   But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, (pharmakeus = drug addicts and dealers) and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. See also Rev.22:15

I received the following, very perceptive, comment today from a brother survivor of the 1950, Chosin Reservoir battle in North Korea. He (James) was a BARman then and is now a Medical Doctor. Thanks Doc. RB ...He wrote ....

A very few black voices are getting the courage to admit that the dissolution of the black family, due to the drug culture with dead or incarcerated males, is the root cause. If drug deaths are sweeping over the black culture like the bubonic plague of the middle ages, killing blacks by tens of thousands, and since the noble Freddie Gray has been selling drugs all of his life: Then why isn't he regarded as a serial killer? We might want to be careful who we canonize.

BARman 

A BAR is a Browning Automatic Rifle.  One Marine with one BAR is a ROCKWALL in battle and puts a choke hold on a thousand Chinese Communist soldiers. We had 130-150 thousand of them surrounding us at the Chosin. Doc stopped a pile of them but has been healing people ever since. I sometimes wish we could use Doc's BARman tactics to stop drug pushers on the streets of America today.  RB
