Common Sense Commentary: Every great world empire, in history, was founded initially by one or two or a handful of committed, determined individuals. Usually they were an abused group of slaves, an ethnic minority or a community of beaten down peasants under a tyrannical king. It was so with the American empire which was founded by a shipload or two of persecuted Christians.

Every multinational corporation was founded by a single man, a family or a couple of friends with an idea or vision, in a garage, barn or storefront . Even one person can change the world, with a goal, determination, endurance and timing.

One man, named Jesus, gathered 12 Apostles who reached out to others who also reached out and, in time, the entire world was affected for good. Now it is my turn and your turn. Reach out ... "Go ye..."

Every great Christian Revival began in the heart of one person or one prayer group and grew, flourished and expanded and then exploded into thousands of souls saved and churches established. The cultural anthropologist, Margaret Mead said: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

The recent Brexit movement began with a few British citizens who had had enough of the dictatorial European Union's abuse of raw power and "One World" edicts. The people of Britain and other European nations did not elect their E.U. Masters in Brussels. Britain's elected politicians had betrayed the people of the nation into the hands of an elitist handful of powerful tyrants controlled by Central Bankers and power hungry, kingdom building sociopaths. Those few British citizens who fought that Union with all of Europe had grown in numbers as the Brussels dictators grew in power boldness and abuses. Yes, there will be consequences and complications, but freedom is worth almost any price. The key element in their victory was that their numbers, though probably not, according to the pre-vote polls, a majority of the entire population, became, at least, a majority of those who went out and voted. The winners were more angry and determined than the welfare, liberals, against Briton exiting the E.U., who sat fat and satisfied at home.

Now that the Brits, who were against EU membership and for a British exit, have won the vote, their courage and confidence and determination will be almost impossible to negate. The fallout of a vengeful EU elite upon Briton will hurt but the absolute losers and the greatest fallout will be upon the heads of the Brussels Tower Of Babel rebuilders. They are the Nimrods in this story.

There is a similar thing happening in the United States. Yes, the people elected our lying Masters but like the British Prime Minister and Parliament, our President and much of Congress want to neutralize our Constitution and put us under International Law and yield our national sovereignty to unelected foreign powers. The sudden rise of a Presidential Candidate, who is really neither Democrat nor Republican, but voicing the anger and frustration of so many Americans, is the U.S. similarity to Brexit. Trump is by no means an ideal candidate. I don't even like the guy, but the Democrat alternative is a thousand times worse ... if you know anything at all about Hillary. Will I vote "for" Trump? No, I will vote "against" Hillary, and there is only one way to do that ... check the "Trump" box.
And I expect a majority of voters, in November, to do the same because their temperature is 110 degrees and they need relief. The polls were against Brexit, but they won. Why? Not because leaving the EU would solve all their problems or would be easy to digest, but because exiting held far fewer consequences than staying. 

As in Britain, the exiters had become far more angry and determined to leave the burning Babel building than those who wanted to stay in and let others pay their way and tell them what to do. So too, Trump is the American version of the British exiters and those other national patriots in all the other European nations who are now determined to follow the British lead. So too will the U.S. ... if all of you "USexiters from Insane, Global Socialism" get out the vote. Even if the Liberals lose, the future will not be easy, but with them, it will only be worse. RB

Common Sense Commentary: The only question now is this. Are these kinds of symptoms due to Insanity, Ignorance, Indifference, Accident or Conspiracy? I have eliminated the first four and am convinced that the answer is a treasonous Conspiracy, within the heart of our own government. It cannot be remedied by Presidential or Congressional vote, at the ballot box, because the quisling majority of American voters are now on the government dole and will never cast another ballot for Constitutional freedoms. That only leaves three options for Constitutionalists and Christians, revolution, retreat or cowardice. The conspiracy actually goes far beyond the Presidency and Congress. It reaches around the entire world of nation power centers. Conspiracy to this global degree can only be  the design of God or Satan. Since God cannot sin (Heb.4:15) and does not tempt people to sin (Jm.1:13), the power behind these Conspirators has to be Satan. Only Satan has so much power to do evil and cause men to do what is being done on a global scale today. In our natural state, without Christ, people fall easily under the control of the "prince of the power of the air". "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience." Eph.2:2. The only restraint in this world now is the presence of the Holy Spirit who lives in true Christians. When the rapture takes place and Christians are caught up to heaven, the Holy Spirit goes with them and the world is left with Tribulation and without a witness until the two witnesses (Rev.11:3) reappear. "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he (H.S.) who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way (rapture)." 2 Thess.2:7.

There are several examples of official Tax fraud Conspiracy by the Obama Administration. I will site just two. The first relates to illegal aliens who have never paid a dime in income taxes but are allowed to apply and get "Earned Income Credit" to get IRS tax refunds. In my search for the meaning of a secular civilization, as opposed to Christian civilization, and not finding a suitable definition, I composed one of my own. It is this .... "An association of citizens who, for the benefit of all, have arrived at a morally advanced society, as opposed to savagery and barbarism." The motivation for my search was stirred by an observation of a Chosin Few Marine, Dr. Jim Nicholson, known to Marines as Nick the BARman. Nick, shot thousands of rounds of 30 Cal. rounds into the enemy from the Marines' favorite weapon, the Browning Automatic Rifle, a machine gun with a crew of three. After months of savage, deadly, miserable battle in the steep, rocky mountains of Korea, Nick had killed hundreds, if not a thousand, North Korean and Chinese soldiers with his index finger and having become numb to the carnage, sat down on one of their dead bodies to eat a C-ration. In his book "George-3-7th Marines", he commented ... "The veneer of civilization is much thinner than you think". Most Americans cannot comprehend what could very well happen in Civilized America, under certain circumstances.

Common Sense Commentary: Bill Bonner is a Christian who has followed the teachings of the Bible relating to spiritual and physical life, the golden rule, treatment of other people, integrity, mental, emotional and financial success. Let us prod it with a stick, turn it over on its back... and see what kind of beast it is. 

Our knowledge of human life in prehistoric times is sketchy. We have a limited archaeological record. We also have legends and stories. And we have inferences we can make from studying primitive tribes in remote areas of the globe, before civilization got hold of them. What they tell us is that philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau was a fool. When Ralph Waldo Emerson visited Europe, he had to be practically dragged to the home of Rousseau, whom he considered unworthy of homage. In our book, we mention that Rousseau’s “social contract” theory of government is preposterous. You can’t have a contract with an unwilling, uninformed and unwitting counterparty. Contracts are made between relative equals, not between rulers and the ruled. You can’t make a valid contract with someone while you hold a gun to his head. Nor can you reserve the right to change the terms whenever you want. But an even bigger imbecility is Rousseau’s theme of the noble savage. There was nothing noble about uncivilized man. He may have had some fine qualities, but he was also ignorant, murderous and cruel. This is not to say that civilized human beings are not also ignorant, murderous and cruel. The difference is that civilized people aim to be better than that; often, they succeed.

If you read the accounts of early explorers, you get a glimpse into what life was like before civilization emerged. For example, in the 18th century, an Englishman spent time with tribespeople in what is today Canada. He noted they would go on raiding parties, attacking other tribes. The idea was to kill the men (and take their scalps as proof) and to capture the women. The captured women were raped repeatedly over several weeks, dragged to another tribe and sold. Today, these sorts of things still happen, but they are the work of mental defectives, sociopaths or hardened criminals. Back then it was normal. In another story, recounted briefly in Hormegeddon, a tribe of “Native Americans” hiked for weeks through the forests of Quebec, taking along with them the aforementioned English explorer. Finally, the group arrived at the shores of Hudson Bay, where they found an encampment of Inuit. The hunting party went right to work. To the surprise and horror of their companion, they killed every man, woman and child in camp... and then returned to their own territory. This was apparently a routine summer activity. Trappers and explorers also tell about how men captured from other tribes might be treated. Sometimes they were summarily killed. Sometimes they were tortured, with the entire tribe – especially the women – taking part in the entertainment. Today’s civilizations still have people who like torturing other people, but these practices are outlawed. Those who partake in these dark pleasures do so rarely and surreptitiously. Win-Win Deals Civilization changed behavior. More important, it changed what people thought their behavior should be. That was the real meaning of the Ten Commandments that Moses brought down from the mountain. These were the new rules of a civilized people. They were well adapted to the new phase of human life. Later, Jesus of Nazareth squeezed the rules to get at their essential oil: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” That was the message of civilization. And you didn’t have to be a Christian to get it. Hillel the Elder, a Jewish religious leader who lived around the same time as Christ, said the same thing in a different way: “What is hateful to you, do not do to anyone else.” This new code – although oft ignored, oft transgressed and oft forgotten – flourished because it made civilization possible. And civilization made material progress possible. If you are going to have civilization, you can’t kill people just because they’re not of the same tribe. And you have to be ready to buy and sell with them. You have to respect their property. And they have to respect yours. Transactions in this new world had to be win-win deals. Otherwise, people wouldn’t want to do business with you.

My final comment is this: The largest enemy, on earth, of Civilization itself, not to mention of Israel, of America and of Christians, is Islam ... yes, Muslims. I care not that Obama, Hillary, the Democrats and News Media call it a "peaceful" religion. It is a savage, barbaric, political religion whose primary doctrine is converting the rest of the entire world or killing it, and with it Civilization. It is not a civilized society when it condones the rape of thousands of young boys by grown men, the marriage and rape of very young girls by men old enough to be their fathers and grandfathers, the abuse of its women, the outrageous taxing of non-Muslims, the beheading of innocent people, the robbery and enslavement of non-Muslims and even of Muslims of a different order. The list of vile, vicious violations of world, civilized law is endless. It is Satan's counterfeit of Christianity and a diabolical scourge spreading all over the earth. If Islamic nations were a "Civilized Society" they would put an end to such debauchery. Fight it and destroy it. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife sends a letter to a home/landowner asking for permission to access a creek on their property to document the decline in a certain species of frogs.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding accessing our property to survey for the yellow-legged frog.  We may be able to help you out with this matter. 

We have divided our 2.26 acres into 75 equal survey units with a draw tag for each unit. Application fees are only $8.00 per unit after you purchase the “Frog Survey License” ($120.00 resident / $180.00 Non-Resident).  You will also need to obtain a “Frog Habitat” parking permit ($10.00 per vehicle).  You will also need an “Invasive Species” stamp ($15.00 for the first vehicle and $5.00 for each additional vehicle) You will also want to register at the Check Station to have your vehicle inspected for non-native plant life prior to entering our property.  There is also a Day Use fee, $5.00 per vehicle.

Breaking News: Report On The Top Leaders Of U.S. Evangelical Christianity Meeting With Trump Today In New York

Common Sense Commentary: Here is what I have been waiting for concerning Trump's answers to the questions Evangelical Christians want to know about where he stands on the issues we are all interested in if he becomes our President.

I just wanted to report back to you about the meeting in New York today between GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and Christian leaders from across the country. Franklin Graham prayed to open the event. Dr. Ben Carson spoke and told us about the Donald Trump he had come to appreciate. Gov. Mike Huckabee served as moderator and sat across from Mr. Trump. Trump entertained questions from the likes of Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. James Dobson, Tony Perkins, Kelly Shackelford and Sammy Rodriguez. The questions were about religious freedom, Israel, potential Supreme Court nominees and abortion. I thought his strongest answers were about the type of judges he would appoint. I believe he fully understands the importance of this issue and said all his judges would be vetted by the Federalist Society -- a stalwart conservative organization. To me, this may be the most important issue of this campaign from the perspective of AFA and our supporters. After all, the next president will likely appoint two or more Supreme Court justices in the next four years. As we have seen over the last few years, it doesn't matter how many good laws are passed if the courts are going to strike them down. Trump's weakness is that he did not clearly state his views in answer to the questions asked by Perkins and Shackelford about when religious freedom and the LGBT movement come into conflict, other than to say that these matters will be decided by the courts. He repeatedly said he was for religious freedom and his fallback position was that he would appoint judges who would defend religious freedom. Mr. Trump also said he was tired of the political correctness surrounding matters of our Christian heritage and used Christmas as an example. He said companies want to profit from Christmas but then don't want to use the word "Christmas." He said he says "Merry Christmas" and thinks the PC crowd just wants to change the greeting to something more generic because it's another attempt to diminish the role of Christianity in America. (This made me wonder if he's been reading the AFA Journal. Ha!) Trump answered Dr. Jeremiah's question about Israel saying he would be a strong supporter of the nation of Israel and never understood Jewish Americans who vote for Democrats who don't support Israel. Trump also understands the threat to our country by Islamic jihadism. He has taken a lot of heat from the liberal media for criticizing the problems within Islam. On a personal note, I met several people who have known Donald Trump personally for several years and said he is not the brash, arrogant, sometimes rude person he appears to be on television. I will say without the media cameras in his face, he was pleasant, relaxed, funny and more thoughtful. I think it was admirable and honorable for Trump to meet with Christian leaders. He is not our enemy. I believe he has instincts that are reverent and patriotic. He's 69 years old and remembers an America that was once a great country but has lost her way. But he also comes from a very secular world and that way of thinking is a part of who he is. In some ways, he strikes me as an enigma, a man still searching for spiritual answers in his life. But that's just my opinion. I will say this, he is listening to some great men of God that I have a lot of respect for, and that's a good thing. To conclude, who but the Lord knows what lies ahead for Donald Trump? He wasn't my first choice for president but the majority of GOP voters chose him. Now either he or Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States of America.  So if one of them shows genuine interest in understanding Christians better and says he will be our friend, I believe we should tell him what we think and where we stand. To use a sports word, I think he's coachable. I'm glad I came to New York. It was worth it. I would ask you to pray for Mr. Trump and our country.

The Progression From Opinion To Physical Observation To Spiritual Perception

Spiritual Perception surpasses physical or mental perception. "Per" is a Latin prefix signifying "Throughout time and space" plus "ceive" which means to receive, apprehend, understand. The Greek word translated "perceive" is ginosko and means to know that you know without further evidence. Spiritual, eternal things must be perceived by spiritual, eternal means .... which is given only by God's Holy Spirit. "...Jesus perceived their thoughts...." Lk.5:22. He knew that he knew their thoughts.

Why do some Christians have Spiritual Perception and some do not?
"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." Gal.5:25. Which is  another way of saying, "If you are a Christian, live like it." Yield your brain, personal will and human spirit to God's Spirit and He will cultivate Spiritual Perception in you as he did the Apostle Paul. "And (Paul) said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives." Acts 27:10. Paul knew something the captain and crew did not know by their experience and mental perception.

"Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. " 1 Jn.3:16. Perceive this.... "God... laid down his life for us...." What does that tell us about Jesus?

The limits of traditional or assumed opinion end where physical observation begins. The limits of physical observation end where physical and mental analysis begins. The limits of physical and mental analysis end where mental understanding begins. The limits of mental understanding end where spiritual perception begins.

Spiritual perception looks through the physical and mental walls into the Creator's spiritual workshop; through the visible surface into the eternal spiritual reality of a thing. Then yields that perception to harmonize with our Creator's own perfect omniscience. To the physical eye, "omniscience" is a word to be heard or seen on a page and its value estimated by the physical mind in as many different ways as there are numbers of people. Some will dissect the word into syllables and root meanings in Latin, Greek or other origins until they understand its intended "human" meaning, in language.... but stop there. These scholars are certain their analysis of a word like omniscience is correct and means simply "all knowledge". That is, that God knows all things. But, what all but a few do not comprehend is that there is yet a final, spiritual dimension to a more complete comprehension of the omniscience (all knowledge) of God. Here human words and explanation become anemic like the word "sky" to define the infinite universe. That being, that God's perfect and complete knowledge reaches back. back, back, endlessly into the infinite past without ever a beginning ... forever and ever into the past, eternal past existence in which God was ... forever in the past. Do you understand that? No, neither do I, but I perceive it is true.

Omniscience also includes absolute and completely perfect knowledge of the ever present, right now, in which God is .... and includes every grain of sand, every spark of light, every breath, every fraction of infinite space unto millions, billions and trillions of light years of time and distance outward without ending forever into outer space at any given moment of time in the ever present now. And that, not only into endless infinite magnitude outward, but also inward into the endless, finite minuscule without an ending, but "presently" known in every detail by God.

His omniscience also includes foreknowledge of the future, reaching forward endlessly into infinite eons of the future, quadrillions of quadrillions of light years forever and ever and ever, without end into eternity future where God is to come and will be. We can mentally believe in the omniscience of God, His infinite pre-knowledge, present knowledge and foreknowledge but it cannot be fully comprehended by the physical mind. It can only be spiritually perceived by faith which is acquired  through prayer, obedience and the study of God's word. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Rom.10:17.  There is also a special "blessing" which comes with obedience to God's word. "A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God...." Deut.11:27.

All of the Bible prophecies are simply God's foreknowledge given to His prophets to be shared with His people. Predestination is simply His omniscient foreknowledge of the future of every soul , every thing, and every moment.  All things universal and most things related to earth, He causes. But many things on earth, He permits us to decide and give an account for. If the future is changed by prayer, God foreknew that too and included it in His foreknowledge and that, wrapped within His omniscience

 "...Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come." Rev.4:8. I perceive that God is holy, He is Almighty, He always was and always is and always will be. That is what He meant when He said ... "I AM".

Redskin's Owner Will Finally Change The Name Of His Team

Common Sense Commentary: I have received information that the Washington Redskin's owner has finally seen the light and doesn't want to offend people anymore by the inappropriate name of his team. He evidently feels that his team should have a name which young people can look up to and be a roll model. So to remove all the negativity associated with the team's name, he is changing it. Therefore, the word Washington, as used in today's vocabulary, is not a fitting role model image for the minds of any young football fans. He hopes Democrats, drug pushers and prostitutes won't be offended.

Common Sense Commentary: It takes one to know one. It takes a thief to catch a thief. Common phrases usually used as a retort to an accusation or criticism. Most of these old adages have at least some element in them. Committed Christians easily recognize other Committed Christian. But a person who wants to make a "religious" impression on them is just as easily recognize as a counterfeit. How? In some cases it is spiritual discernment. But most often it is something less.... they do not know the nuances, key words or right applications. Despite the media's concerted effort to declare emphatically that Barack Obama is a devout, practicing Christian, many still believe that behind closed doors Obama is actually a Muslim, or at least more sympathetic to Muslims than Christians. To the great disappointment of those who'd like to blame all Obama conspiracy theories on the "bitter clingers," claims that "Obama is a Muslim" are perhaps most persistent among a surprising group: Muslims in the Middle East.

A 2015 CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll asked Americans if they knew what Obama's religion was. "Is he Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Mormon, Muslim, something else, or not religious?" asked the pollsters. The results were eye-opening. Over six years into his presidency, a majority of Americans doubted that Obama believed what he publicly said he believed. Only 39 percent said he was a Protestant/Christian, while 29 percent said they believed he was a Muslim (43 percent of Republicans, 15 percent of Democrats, and 29 percent of Independents). (That difference in itself says volumes about the perceptions of Republicans vs. Democrats. But the theory that Obama is a Muslim is not just an American phenomenon. The Washington Post explains that "Muslim" Obama theories "have mutated as they traveled abroad, adapting in unexpected ways to fit regional arguments." In the Middle East, a "persistent and widespread" theory is that Obama is not just a Muslim, but a particular brand of Muslim: Shiite. 

The theory seems to have gained even more traction as of late due to the Obama administration's unflinching devotion to Iran, resulting in Sunni leaders in the region blaming Obama's supposed religious affiliation for his political biases.

"This week, as the Obama administration announced that it was lifting sanctions on Iran as a result of a U.S. led nuclear deal with Tehran reached in July, Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, the head of general security for the emirate of Dubai, suggested that Obama's 'Shiite roots' had helped him get elected in a bid to bring the United States and Iran closer," writes The Washington Post.

This Iranian Deal Is Getting Worse All The time. If nothing else, the popular theory among Sunnis points to "persistent and widespread" frustration and bewilderment over Obama's inexplicable determination to empower Iran at the expense of (former) U.S. allies in the region.

Common Sense Commentary: After the mass slaughter in Orlando, maybe America and the world will finally wake up to the Muslim Trojan Horse strategy?  If so, "waking up" demands that we "follow up", "speak up" and "act up" if our President and Congress won't finally "stand up" to Muslim terrorism.

Even Snopes admits the open letter below is true and correctly attributed. But the Main Street News Networks won't touch it.

It seems to be a typical case of immature, fanatical, Muslim students who take it upon themselves to scream their insult and objection at a little isolated cartoon in Denmark long since forgotten by rational people. So they decide to raise a public protest on the campus of Michigan State University to stir the anger of fellow Muslims and teach non-Muslims a lesson. Their ridiculous effort was far more offensive to one of the Michigan State's professors, of Mechanical Engineering, who sent an e-mail to the Muslim Student's Association expressing his own First Amendment Free Speech.

Professor Indrek Wichman wrote the following....

Dear Moslem Association: 

As a professor of Mechanical Engineering here at MSU I intend to protest your protest. I am offended not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like beheadings of civilians, cowardly attacks on public buildings, suicide murders, murders of Catholic priests (the latest in Turkey!), burnings of Christian churches, the continued persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt, the imposition of Sharia law on non-Muslims, the rapes of Scandinavian girls and women (called "whores" in your culture), the murder of film directors in Holland, and the rioting and looting in Paris France. 

This is what offends me, a soft-spoken person and academic, and many, many, many of my colleagues. I counsel you dissatisfied, aggressive, brutal, and uncivilized slave-trading Moslems to be very aware of this as you proceeded with your infantile "protests." If you do not like the values of the West — see the 1st Amendment — you are free to leave. 

I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option. 

Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.

Professor Wichman tapped the "send" button and his email sailed across the Internet and hit the protesting young Muslims as if it were a ballistic missile and they were innocent kindergarten children. Their retaliation was more explosive than the good professors comments. They demanded Dr. Wichman be fired and mandatory diversity training be enforced on all faculty and a seminar be held on hate speech and discrimination for all freshmen. The Michigan chapter of CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) was notified and demanded retribution. Apparently neither CAIR nor the students recognized Dr. Wichman's Constitutional right to his own free speech in answer to theirs. As usual, this Trojan Horse full of Muslims only recognize their own right to free speech but nobody elses who disagrees with them. They don't seem to see the double standard and contradiction of their inconsistent attitude. They can dish it out ... boy can they dish it out, but they can't even take a two inch square, one line cartoon in Denmark when they are in the U.S.

How long will it take for the rest of America to finally tell Muslims, "That's enough". Maybe somebody will start a movement called the "Wichman Patriots Fed-Up With The 'Ham' in Muhammad". But that might cause a World War.

At least for now the University is standing its ground and will neither punish Dr. Wichman nor "publicly" condemn his remarks. Pressure is probably being put on him relinquish his right to free speech and embrace Political Correctness. since he later said he if he knew his e-mail would cause such reaction, and be made public, he wouldn't have used the same strong language". I liked him better before he recanted that tidbit. What the leadership is missing in today's America has been revealed in Donald Trump's loose cannon, verbal machine gun rhetoric. The average American is starving for some outspoken, shoot from the shoulder, honest, all American attacks against this sort of intolerable nonsense. RB

"Minutemen" And "Sons of Liberty" Were The Seed Of The 2nd Amendment Militia

Just last night a lone Muslim terrorist walked into an Orlando, gay nightclub, murdered 50 and wounded 58 without a single one of them able to defend themselves or the 108 he shot. Under our 2nd Amendment, probably every one in that club, except the Muslim terrorist should have been qualified to get a carry license. But he, a security guard, known by the FBI to be associated with terrorists, wasn't screened out by an inept Administration who blames the guns he carried but allowed him to have them. THERE, my friends is the problem.

I am putting this blog post out three weeks early, before July 4, Independence Day, so that you can pass it along to your email list and they to theirs and maybe it will reach warp speed by July 4, 2016, exactly 240 years after July 4, 1776.

Common Sense Commentary: U.S. civilians are the largest, armed Militia in the world, larger than any organized military or armed citizen militia of any nation. This numerical fact is only true in the United States and is made possible by the Second Amendment to our U.S. Constitution. This Amendment was added to the Bill Of Rights of the Constitution just after our successful, armed rebellion and revolution against the King of England, NOT primarily for the right to hunt or even for the right of self protection, but for the right to protect our freedom from an overbearing, power grabbing government or dictator. At the end of that long, bloody war, the importance of an armed citizenry was more obvious than ever before. This right is said to be the most important of the Bill Of Rights because it protects all the other rights.

The original American Colonies, our Founding Fathers, and writers of our U.S. Constitution and Bill Of Rights, were subjects of the King of England and second class citizens in that they had no representation, as did the English, in their Governance. Americans were heavily taxed and treated as vassals and serfs by the King. It was this untenable situation which led America to openly rebel against our English masters with our Declaration Of Independence from England, and the Revolutionary War. That was an internal, Civil War, by American citizens, against our tyrannical English occupiers who maintained a strong, organized army and bureaucracy here to enforce the King's edicts and collect taxes. And contrary to the U.S. pacifists on the Liberal Left, our forefathers did not violate the biblical  principle of co-operation and recognition of  legal, just, civil government. In today's terms, it would be like Texas or American Conservatives and Christians rebelling against our Leftest political and bureaucratic rulers in Washington D.C. who violate our National, Constitutional Law and seek to subjugate and enslave us. If there was justification for the American Revolutionary War, which won our freedom, including freedom of religion, then there might also be justification for another Revolution against another tyrant, or Socialistic, or Communistic dictatorship arising in Washington D.C. It happened to the Colonists and dozens of nations since then. Let me be clear; I am not proposing one, but that time could come when revolution is preferable to slavery under a dictatorial government .... into which direction we are now headed. The American News Media lauds and justifies the American Revolution and vilifies the English King, but also Lauds the villainous tactics of our now increasingly dictatorial Government and vilifies those who stand against losing our freedoms. This kind of double standard has become the daily diet of those who follow the major "news" media. "As for me, give me liberty or give me death". Those were the words of a "Colonist" planter, attorney and politician named Patrick Henry just before the Revolutionary War. Many other freedom loving Americans felt the same way and took up arms against their tyrannical King. They called themselves Minute Men and Sons of Liberty and went to war for freedom.

Baseball's Texas Rangers Pick North Florida Christian High School Pitcher, Cole Ragans

Common Sense Commentary: This is the High School on the Campus of North Florida Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida. I founded the church in 1963 as Temple Baptist Church (name changed later) and pastored that ministry for nearly 30 years. Dr. Randy Ray is the present pastor. We had a full athletic program, band, the second best Computer Science program in the nation and the best computer teacher, Norm Pettus, heading the department. We were one of the first High Schools in the U.S. with a computer program in its curriculum. We had an exceptional percentage of graduates who went on to college. Our graduates are now in the top levels of Computer Tech, Business, and every other profession ... including Christian Ministry. Add to that some of the very best Coaches of a full slate of athletics. (7 sports).
From our playing fields arose several athletes who went on to college and then to the pros. I think this young man, reported on below, is the first graduate we have had who is going directly from High School into a pro-team schedule. Our schools did have an advantage in sports in that our boy's and girl's teams both played sports, together, from Kindergarten through High School and developed as a team unit from four or five years old with the same kids all the way to H.S. graduation. But NFCS baseball's secret weapon is long standing (30 year) coach Mike Posey coaching a comparatively small school into the big leagues in High School baseball. North Florida Christian School has always had the finest educational and athletic programs available and we have the alumni to prove it. Who was behind all that success .... a superb faculty and super superb Principles at every level, Kindergarten through High School.

Why do I report on one of NFCS's athletes being picked up by the Texas Rangers? Their stadium is a stones baseball's throw from where I live ..... about 10 minutes away .... and in Texas. Another reason is that our twin sons, Rex and Ron, won  a Little League Championship, Rex as pitcher and Ron as catcher back in Tallahassee many years ago. Ron sent me the article which his daughter Julie, who married another baseball champion, sent him. So you see, its all in the family.... the Old Temple Baptist Family. So, all you Templeites, our efforts were not in vain; The harvest continues to flourish till Jesus comes. RB

A Vietnamese Immigrant's Gratitude To America And You Nam Vets

Common Sense Commentary: Our American Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Sailors have sewn the seeds of freedom around the world, in dozens of wars. Some were less justified than others, but, I think all of those seeds have, in some way, sprung up as a testimony to the world that America, at least in the past, has always been a friend of freedom and an enemy of tyranny. To you Vietnam Vets who paid the price and were betrayed back home by Politicians, beatniks and the news media, your sacrifices were not all in vain. The Korean War slowed the spread of Communism down but you Vietnam Vets stopped it in its tracks. And while Viet Nam has been moving toward freedom ever since, the U.S. is moving toward Communism.

On Saturday, July 24th, 2010 the town of Prescott Valley, AZ, hosted a Freedom Rally. Quang Nguyen was asked to speak on his experience of coming to America and what it means. He spoke the following in dedication to all Vietnam Veterans. Thought you might enjoy hearing what he had to say: 

35 years ago, if you were to tell me that I am going to stand up here speaking to a couple thousand patriots, in English, I'd laugh at you. Man, every morning I wake up thanking God for putting me and my family in the greatest country on earth. I just want you all to know that the American dream does exist and I am living the American dream. I was asked to speak to you about my experience as a first generation Vietnamese-American, but I'd rather speak to you as an American. 

If you hadn't noticed, I am not white and I feel pretty comfortable with my people. I am a proud U.S. citizen and here is my proof. It took me 8 years to get it, waiting in endless lines, but I got it, and I am very proud of it. 

I still remember the images of the Tet offensive in 1968, I was six years old. Now you might want to question how a 6-year-old boy could remember anything. Trust me, those images can never be erased. I can't even imagine what it was like for young American soldiers, 10,000 miles away from home, fighting on my behalf. 

35 years ago, I left South Vietnam for political asylum. The war had ended. At the age of 13, I left with the understanding that I may or may not ever get to see my siblings or parents again. I was one of the first lucky 100,000 Vietnamese allowed to come to the U.S. Somehow, my family and I were reunited 5 months later, amazingly, in California. It was a miracle from God. 

If you haven't heard lately that this is the greatest country on earth, I am telling you that right now. It was the freedom and the opportunities presented to me that put me here with all of you tonight. I also remember the barriers that I had to overcome every step of the way. My high school counselor told me that I cannot make it to college due to my poor communication skills. I proved him wrong. I finished college. You see, all you have to do is to give this little boy an opportunity and encourage him to take and run with it. Well, I took the opportunity and here I am. 

This person standing tonight in front of you could not exist under a socialist/communist environment. By the way, if you think socialism is the way to go, I am sure many people here will chip in to get you a one-way ticket out of here. And if you didn't know, the only difference between socialism and communism is an AK-47 aimed at your head. That was my experience. 
In 1982, I stood with a thousand new immigrants, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and listening to the National Anthem for the first time as an American. To this day, I can't remember anything sweeter and more patriotic than that moment in my life. 
Fast forwarding, somehow I finished high school, finished college, and like any other goofball 21 year old kid, I was having a great time with my life. I had a nice job and a nice apartment in Southern California. In some way and somehow, I had forgotten how I got here and why I was here. 

One day I was at a gas station, I saw a veteran pumping gas on the other side of the island. I don't know what made me do it, but I walked over and asked if he had served in Vietnam. He smiled and said yes. I shook and held his hand. The grown man began to well up. I walked away as fast as I could and at that very moment, I was emotionally rocked. This was a profound moment in my life. I knew something had to change in my life. It was time for me to learn how to be a good citizen. It was time for me to give back. 

You see, America is not just a place on the map, it isn't just a physical location. It is an ideal, a concept. And if you are an American, you must understand the concept, you must accept this concept, and most importantly, you have to fight and defend this concept. This is about Freedom and not free stuff. And that is why I am standing up here. 

Brothers and sisters, to be a real American, the very least you must do is to learn English and understand it well. In my humble opinion, you cannot be a faithful patriotic citizen if you can't speak the language of the country you live in. Take this document of 46 pages - last I looked on the Internet, there wasn't a Vietnamese translation of the U.S. Constitution. It took me a long time to get to the point of being able to converse and until this day, I still struggle to come up with the right words. It's not easy, but if it's too easy, it's not worth doing. 

Before I knew this 46-page document, I learned of the 500,000 Americans who fought for this little boy. I learned of the 58,000 names scribed on the black wall at the Vietnam Memorial. You are my heroes. You are my founders. 

At this time, I would like to ask all the Vietnam veterans to please stand. I thank you for my life. I thank you for your sacrifices, and I thank you for giving me the freedom and liberty I have today. I now ask all veterans, firefighters, and police officers, to please stand. On behalf of all first generation immigrants, I thank you for your services and may God bless you all.

Everyone outside of faith in Christ still carries their race, their religion, their sex and their sins with them to hell."There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal.3:28.

So do as you will, make your choices, follow your heart and pursue your dreams, but know this; You will answer to your Creator for all those things and bear the responsibility for your choices and decisions. "Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment." Ecc.11:9.

Common Senses Commentary: The pilot below expresses, in his open letter to Muslims in America, exactly what most or our citizens are thinking. Most of us know that almost all "racism" in our country is no longer about white people discriminating against "innocent" people with a darker skin. Yes, I know, at least half of dark skinned people still think that's the problem, but today, dark skinned prejudice against whites has become an even bigger problem. That racist pendulum has swung to the other side of the clock, dark against white, and may, indeed, swing back again if all races do not stop it in the middle. Most prejudice among Americans today, however, dark or white, is not about color of skin, but is a result of the extreme "political" and "religious" differences. Such things as the hatred expressed in the 911 Muslim terrorist's attack against TheWorld Trade Center ... all humanity, who are not Muslims. I mean by that ... that Muslim fanatical terrorists, by their horrific, vicious and indiscriminate murder of 3000 of our people in the name of their religion, has resulted in a distrust of their religion, which is what motivates them to continually commit such atrocities. I am not ashamed to admit that I do not trust Muslims who, though they are not terrorists, will not openly condemn those of their religion who are. If professing Christians were killing innocent people, of any faith, you know I would condemn them openly, and take up arms against them if necessary. Harmless Muslims should... no, must do the same. Otherwise, no matter what the cost of doing so, to them might be, they will not deserve our trust. RB

I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wish you didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others, hacking their necks, over and over, with box cutters. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings, killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage, hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help.

As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

How do I differentiate between the true Arab/Muslim Americans and the Arab/Muslim terrorists in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks, and living in OUR communities under the protection of OUR constitution, while they plot the next attack that will slaughter MORE of the same good neighbors and children?

The events of September 11 changed the answer..

It is not MY responsibility to determine which of you embraces our great country, with ALL of its religions, with ALL of its different citizens, with all of its faults. It is time for every Arab/Muslim in this country to determine it for me.

I want to know, I DEMAND to know and I have a right to know, whether or not you love America ...... Do you pledge allegiance to its flag?

Do you proudly display it in front of your house, or on your car?

Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation; that He will protect it and let it prosper? Or do you pray that Allah will destroy it in one of your Jihads? Are you thankful for the freedom that this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots, who have through our history, given their lives for this country? Are you willing to preserve this freedom by also paying the Ultimate sacrifice? Do you love America?? If this is your commitment, then

I need YOU to start letting ME know about it.

Your Muslim leaders in this nation should be flooding the media at this time with hard facts on your faith, and what hard actions YOU are taking as a community and as a religion to protect the United States of America.

Please, no more benign overtures of regret for the death of the innocent, because I worry about who you regard as innocent.... No more benign overtures of condemnation for the unprovoked attacks, because I worry about what is unprovoked to you. I am not interested in any more sympathy; I am interested only in action.

What will you do for America - our great country - at this time of continuing crisis, at this time of war?

I want to see Arab-Muslims waving the AMERICAN flag in the streets.

 I want to hear you chanting 'Allah Bless America'.

I want to see young Arab/Muslim men enlisting in the military.

I want to see a commitment of money, time and emotion to the victims of this butchering and to our returning wounded and to this nation as a whole.

The FBI has had a long list of people they’ve wanted to interact with Regarding the threats that they believe to be ongoing. Many of these people live and socialize right now in Muslim communities. You know them. You know where they are. Give the FBI a heads up as to where they maybe. Better yet, hand them over to us, NOW!

But I have seen little even approaching this sort of action.

Instead I have seen an already closed and secretive community close even tighter. You have disappeared from the streets. You have posted armed security guards at your facilities. You have threatened lawsuits. You have screamed for protection from reprisals.

The very few Arab/Muslim representatives, like CARE, that HAVE appeared in the media were defensive and equivocating. They seemed more concerned with making sure that the United States apologize and take responsibility for actions defending our own people. They seemed more concerned with protecting their fellow Muslims from violence directed towards them in the United States and abroad than they did with supporting our country and denouncing 'leaders' like the late Khadafy, the late Hussein, Farrakhan, and  the late Arafat.

If the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love  for all people, then I want chapter and verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up. What good is it if the teachings in the Koran are good, pure, and true,  when your 'leaders' ARE teaching fanatical interpretations, terrorism, and intolerance? It matters little how good Islam SHOULD BE if huge numbers of the world's Muslims interpret the teachings of Mohammad incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion.

A form that has been demonstrated to us over and over again.

A form whose structure is built upon a foundation of violence, death, and suicide.

A form whose members are recruited from the prisons around the world.

A form whose members (some as young as five years old) are seen day after day, week in and week out, year after year, marching in the streets around the world, burning effigies of our presidents, burning the American flag, shooting weapons into the air.

A form whose members convert from a peaceful religion, only to take up arms against the great United States of America, the country of their birth.

A form whose rules are so twisted, that their traveling members refuse to show their faces at airport security checkpoints, in the name of Islam.

We will NEVER allow the attacks of September 11, or any others for that matter, to take away that which is so precious to us -- our rights under the greatest constitution in the world.

I want to know where every Arab Muslim in this country stands and I think it is my right and the right of every true citizen of this country to DEMAND it.

A right paid for by the blood of thousands of my brothers and sisters who died protecting the very constitution that is protecting you and your family.

I am pleading with you to let me know. I want you here as my brother, my neighbor, my friend, as a fellow American...... But there can be no grey areas or ambivalence regarding your allegiance, and it is up to YOU, to show ME, where YOU stand. Until then, "YOU WORRY ME!"
