It was God, himself, who called out watchmen to stand their posts on the walls of the holy city, Jerusalem, to watch intently for any approaching danger to the people within those protecting walls. The watchmen were charged to, without hesitation, sound the alarm loudly and clearly, at whatever time of the day or night impending danger approached. Nobody wants to be awakened in the middle of the night or kept from their work in the day unless there is a real and imminent danger to them and their family. I consider myself a God called watchman and I will not "keep silence" when I see real danger to America or to God's people. It is a matter of standing against or acquiescing to evil.
"I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence...." Isa.62:6
" Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said We will not hearken. Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation,...Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it." Jer.6:17-19.
God's Watchmen who signed our Constitution didn't believe that "separation of church and state" meant that His called out Watchmen, pastors, ministers, witnesses, and spokesmen, like Aaron, were to avoid speaking out the truth to government officials. What it did mean to America's founding fathers, is that the government was to leave God's churches alone.
The Lord sent Moses to speak up to a king, in political
power, with a message of admonition and warning...
"The Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee." Ex.6:29.
The Lord also commissioned Moses to speak out to the Levites, Aaron, and his family, with a message from God. The Levites were not to allow blemished Levites to represent the nation before God. Today that would cause a riot, law suites, and angry demonstrations as a violation of civil law, but, of course, it isn't applicable in the New Testament.
"Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God." Lev.21:17.
My point is, our American, Constitutional right to free speech was incorporated there by our Christian founders who held the precious right to speak our minds on issues, to kings, religionists, or anyone else we chose and was given us by God first before the Constitution was written.
My challenge to you is that we not hide our light under a bushel, but put it up on a candlestick that it might be seen by everyone around us. Jesus gave that admonition to all His Disciples, including you and me. Don't be intimidated; speak up the truth clearly.
"No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light." Luke 11:33.

Poll: 66% of Americans now fear Speaking
their minds in a politically correct nation
FREEDOM OF SPEECH, OR MAYBE NOT
Is the nation switching from the land of the free and the home of the brave — to the land of the silent, and the home of the reluctant? Citizens are wary of speaking their minds, a new poll suggests. Many Americans are opting to stay quiet in an intensified culture of political correctness fostered by activism and often biased media coverage.
“Few Americans think they have true freedom of speech today and think the country is too politically correct,” reports a new Rasmussen Reports survey.
It reveals that just 28 percent of Americans believe that they “have true freedom of speech today.”
A hefty majority — 66 percent — believe that they must “be careful not to say something politically incorrect to avoid getting in trouble.”
Meanwhile, here’s what the First Amendment says: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
Not all speech is covered by the First Amendment, according to The Newseum Institute, which lists such exceptions as defamation, plagiarism of copyrighted material and other exceptions. The organization maintains a very clear guide to First Amendment rights and freedom of speech on campus, online and in other circumstances.
PITN: You have to ask yourself, what’s next? Our friend in Christ, Lyn Leahz, who speaks the truth through the Word of God, recently had her YouTube page demonetized. This means ads were pulled from her videos in protest of what she was speaking about. The revenue from her ads funds her ministry and YouTube knows that. She has over 150,000 followers on her page and it seems there are those who are trying to shut down the Christian community, along with the political conservative community. It seems in this day and time, the serpent is raising its wicked head! As Christians, we should never be afraid to speak out about the truth. Don’t let anyone bully you, in any way. Know that you have the “Armor of God” protecting you.
