"Nothing Shall Be Restrained From Them

Early Hi-Tech was used in the construction of the Tower of Babel beyond the limits acceptable to God.    "And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." Gen.11:6  

If men's intelligence and talents can create a thumb, sized cell phone, with no wires attached, on which I can talk to anyone, any time, anywhere on earth ... And if they can built and fly, with all its hi-tech, unbelievable marvels, the fighter plane revealed below ... And do it with the tiny speck of God's Genesis "likeness", which he gave us out of His own omniscience, and placed in our cantaloupe sized brains ... Where does that put the infinity limits of God's infinite  'omniscient' capabilities? Just look up at that part of His infinite universe above your little God given eyes, at night, and try to realize that every star you can see is larger than our sun which is, itself, a million times larger than this entire Earth. And then fall on your knees and cry "HOLY" with those angels, in Heaven, who know Him best. Rev.4:8.

Signs and wonders, miracles and magic:

Almost all of the New Testament's use of the word "wonder", as a noun, are in reference to either God's miracles or man's "magic".  So there are two kinds of "wonders", God's ... and all the rest which are accomplished by the fragment of knowledge He gave us.

It is a common human trait, or maybe flaw, to desire to see things that mystify and seem impossible ... wonders, miracles and "magic" performed by His created nature, by His created humanity ... or by God Himself, directly.     

"Then said Jesus unto him, except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe." John 4:48.

The real thing, those miraculous wonders done by Jesus and His Apostles were absolute proof to the world that He was, indeed, God's prophesied Messiah.    "Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus ... a man approved of God among  you by miracles and wonders and signs .... Him... ye have ... crucified." Acts 2:22-23.

"And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people." Acts 5:12. 

God's purpose of these truly miraculous signs and wonders was to bear witness to the people that He is God indeed, that they might believe.    "God also bearing witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles ...." Heb.2:4.

God used Miracle wonders and signs to convince Pharaoh to let the Jews go free. Satan's magicians had power to duplicate them, whether by real miracles or "lying magic", I do not know. But either way, their devilish reproductions fell short and failed them. Men's magic, whether illusion, technology, or supernatural, cannot compete with God's signs and wonders.... but they will try. Jesus warns us to not be fooled ...    "For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect."   Mark 13:22-23.   

Apostolic prophecy of future "lying wonders".

"And then shall that Wicked be revealed .... Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders .... And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." 2 Thess.2:8-11.

Imagine, if the contemporary, magician, entertainers, in the link below, can perform, by modern technology, and illusion, what appears to be magic, how much more convincing for those who see the Antichrist's satanic, supernatural miracles during the future days of Tribulation. 

Satanic magic will reach its zenith during the Great Tribulation.
   

 "And I beheld another beast .... he exerciseth all the power of the first beast.... and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do...." Rev.13:11-14.

It stands to reason that such men, in the future, will be able to convince the majority of people that they have deified powers to do the impossible. And if they are willing to sell their souls to the devil, gain from him actual miracle working powers. I am not saying magician entertainers are doing the devil's work. I only use it as an example.
