Or A Human Rat ....
Denying a Creator, in favor of a philosophy of evolved
human animals, explains the inclination of deniers
who often act out what they think they are ... godless
inhuman animals. That assumption extends to every-
one else and salves their calloused conscience in
treating others as sub-humans to be preyed upon
without fear of Divine Judgment and condemnation.
If there is no guilt and no judgement, it is only natural
that, as self-centered and godless animals, they
may steal what they want and treat others as
souless monkeys or rabbits to be used and
abused. They may think of themselves as a lion or
tiger, but are more like a carnivorous hyena ...
seemingly dragging their baggy bottoms along
behind them.
Is it any wonder that, seeing the unthinkable,
cruel, brutality of many human beings toward
the more vulnerable, that even we Christians
are tempted to see such people as more
animal-like that human?
But that misconception leads to contempt for,
or at least disregard and loss of compassion
for their eternally lost souls.... for whom Jesus
died.
And though I know that, and it drove me to
establish a church, a Rescue Mission, and
Prison Ministry, to rescue drunks, dope
addicts and criminals of all kinds, I am still
inclined to see some of them as animal-like.
I have to constantly ask the Lord to realign
my attitude to truly care about these hyena-
like lost souls who care for nobody but
themselves.
Even the most "monsterous" human being is not
an animal, but a fallen human being created in
the image and likeness of their Creator, and in
bad need of a Savior.
If they act like animals, they are not, and there
is hope for their eternal souls. ... Maybe?
In some cases? But we don't know which
cases. So witness to "every creature" anyway
because Jesus said to ...
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all
the world, and preach the gospel
to every creature." Mark 16:15.
That doesn't leave anyone out. Truth be told,
God loves them as much as He loves you or
me.
"For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have
everlasting life."
