At a loss of their own ....
Those thousands who died in our defense.
Our revered Memory of Soldiers, Sailors,
Airmen and Marines killed in Battle.....
Wars ranked by U.S. combat deaths
Whether brave or fearful, gung ho or hesitant,
each of these paid an equal, ultimate price of
the only life they had to give. Unlike athletic,
political, and movie "heroes", these were paid
minimum wage to do their duty, but they did
it for their buddies, their corps, and nation.
And here is God's signature upon their graves.

They were mostly our young, strong, healthy and patriotic finest. Nearly all were honored to put their lives in harm's way for their beloved country, and that is the price they paid with their lives.
"...They were swifter than eagles ...." 2 Sam.1:23
Few things are as impressive as a young eagle sweeping toward its target on new wings of agility and power, except the mighty wings of its creator guardian watching His own from above.
"....I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself." Ex.19:4
