Common Sense Poemmentary:
Jesus Drank The Death
Don't blame your Daddy, Mom or Boss,
And don't lift a finger at a husband, wife or loss.
And don't blame God or "The Devil made me do it"
Cause none of that works ...it was you who blew it.
Redemption from the pawn shop shelf will arrive
And you carried away ... born again and alive ...
When you blame yourself for the mess you have made
And the awful price of suffering which you have paid.
Just look up to God, who by His crucified Son
Has paid your sin debt and your passage He won.
So be ready to arise when your number is up
Because Jesus drank the death in your sinful cup.

GOD'S ONLY MUST
If YOU burn up all your dear life's money
Running up and down Old Dirty Street
If YOU lust for porn and think smut funny
And YOU can't seem ever to make ends meet
If YOU are looking at your noisy artful skin
Where YOU might bleed some more tattoos
And YOU are awaiting the "goodlife" to begin
As YOU guzzle another slug of booze
If YOU soak up the X-rated movie flicks
And YOU gorge on candy, cigs and coke
And borrow, beg or steal for the next fix
Then wonder why You are always broke
Well let me tell YOU true and plain
YOU cannot hide your guilty blame
YOU wasted your own life living vain
YOU determined what yourself became
So lift your eyes above hell's lust
To God's forgiveness hope and love
"Believe on Jesus"... God's only MUST
And "Set your affections on things above." Col.3:2

Amen.
So simple a formula...is God's plan.
