Are both limitless … without end?
Is the infinite "plus" of time or space, into the future ... or, outward bound into the universe, no greater than the infinity of time past or space inward bound into the depths of the infinite finite? Time and space may be weakly compared to the plus or minus of numbers. Plus 1 to 100 to 1000 to a million, billion, trillion, quadrillion and on and on through a googleplex …. and even then numbers continue …. 2,3,4 googleplex etc. Or you can count exponentially 2, 4, 8, 16, and on out beyond the numerical thermosphere.... endlessly... forever. Likewise the possibilities of the imaginarily unlimited powers of a telescope looking up into infinity are equaled by the unlimited powers of a microscope looking down into the finite minuscule, the infinitesimal.
Whereas, is time, past or future, and space, outward or inward, infinite in both past and future, or into the finite and downward to infinity?
North, South, East and West are limited to the surface of the earth only. If you are standing on the single spot of the North Pole, and slowly turn in a circle, looking to the horizon of the earth in all directions, every direction is South, including the entire earth, under your feet. But if you are in outer space ... all directions are up and there is no South, East or West ... but maybe a North. Job, in describing God's creation of earth said, He hung it upon nothing after first stretching out the north over an empty space. The verse: "He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing." Job 26:7

Also, God, in recounting Lucifer's rebellion to gain God's throne, quoted him .... "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north." Isa.14:13. Could this be a clue as to the direction of the Heavenly city Jesus is "preparing" for believers? Is the North Pole axis pointing, out beyond the north star, toward that special "place"? And Is "north" more than an earthly term? "I go to prepare a place for you." Jn.14:2-3. Is that "place" straight away from the northern hemisphere of earth, out beyond the north star? Maybe so.
In another place God speaks of Jesus the Christ as having been "raised up from the north" and coming into human presence, "calling upon His Father's name" and "declaring from the beginning, that we may know? and before time.... say that He (capitalized) is righteous". "I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name .... Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and before time, that we may say, He is righteous?" Isa. 41:25-26.
Is this the same "north" Lucifer referred to in Isa.14:13, and Job referred to in Job 26:7? Focus on the thought. RB
