God told the prophet, Daniel, that his End Of Days prophecies would not be understood until "the time of the end" when people would be "running to and fro" (enhanced transport), on the earth and "knowledge shall be increased" (expanding). This "evolving" knowledge would not only unlock prophetic meanings, but expand every other type of knowledge, science, skill and proficiency. The fulfilling of this prophecy, in today's world, is all too obvious to all but the resolute naysaying skeptic.
"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Dan.12:4.
Unceasing technological transformation is the only thing on earth truly evolving. The speed of it, in my lifetime, since 1930, has continuously increased from saddles to satellites and beyond. The increase of knowledge, at first, grew slowly by centuries, then by decades, then multiplied annually, and is now compounding from the speed of a running horse to a rocket ship traveling into space at 200,000 miles an hour. But the human form, mind and morality has gained no evolutionary improvement. The opposite is more nearly true. Devolution seems more likely ... if that were a word.
The unintended consequences of technology is that it has overtaken human capability to absorb knowledge and is rapidly surpassing human, mental potential. Fleshly, human nature's inclining appetite for sin, albeit restricted and lessened in Christians, will continue to be in all human flesh until Jesus comes and glorifies believers.
"Beloved now are we the sons of God, and it doeth not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2

Knowledge Doubling Curve
Buckminster Fuller created the “Knowledge Doubling Curve”; he noticed that until 1900 human knowledge doubled approximately every century. By the end of World War II knowledge was doubling every 25 years. Today things are not as simple as different types of knowledge have different rates of growth. For example, nanotechnology knowledge is doubling every two years and clinical knowledge every 18 months. But on average human knowledge is doubling every 13 months. According to IBM, the build out of the “internet of things” will lead to the doubling of knowledge every 12 hours.

My Comment:
Does the implementation combining computer with human brain cells generate or degenerate the brain? Is that new creation still human, superhuman or subhuman? It cannot be a humanoid, which is something which looks human but is not, like a robot, for instance.
Would a more descriptive credential be "Beast", since it has all the attributes of an animal but with cybernetic knowledge.
