No one should Ever Accredit Their Words To God Unless

He/she Is Quoting Scripture.

Far too many people "feel" or "pretend" God has given them special words and make the claim. But if, on rare occasion, God does impress a person with words, it is not equal to Scripture and such a rare person would never boast of it, and would simply speak up, thank God and hold his/her peace on the fact. False prophets are continually making the claim and the average person cannot distinguish the false prophet form the true prophet.

"And the spiritof the prophets are subject to the prophets." 1 Cor.14:32

The word, prophets here is translated from the Greek word "prophetes" and means "to publicly expound". Nothing more or less. So the Apostle, Paul, is simply saying that those who speak out in a public forum or church are, themselves, responsible for what they say, not God, the Holy Spirit, or some spirit or angel outside of themselves. If a preacher or public speaker says, "Thus saith the LORD", he had better be about to quote or read Bible scripture, not something that just popped into his head. Otherwise, he is using the LORD's name in vain to give what he himself is saying more validity, but is speaking blaspheme.
Anyone, be it rich man, poor man, beggar man, thief, charlatan preacher or Satan himself can, and do claim "Thus saith the LORD". Claiming it doesn't make it true.

No one can effectively deny what the scripture says. It is right there, in black and white, right before the eyes of the world. A person may misinterpret it,  pervert it, or deny what it means, but it remains intact, unchanged, and eternal.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." 2 Tim.3:16.

The word of God, Holy Scripture, is complete, Genesis through the Revelation, finished, and canonized. God is not still expanding Scripture, adding new things to it, or updating it. It is what it is ... eternally.

"If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself." 2Tim.2:13.

If some verses of Scripture are hard to understand, look deeper...
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Tim. 2:15.

One of the worst things a person can do is either add to or take away Scripture.

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Rev.22:18-19.

Was Jesus Or His Apostles Among The Majority Voters

No, Christians were a minority in Bible days, and still are.

If a poll had been taken, back then, of "Most Popular Persons", would Jesus or an Apostles have won it?

If such a poll were taken today, among  Democrats, would Jesus receive as many votes as Hillary Clinton or Barrack  Obama?   Judging by the other polls I read, that would not happen. And if the Apostle Paul were included, the positive response would be even less than this Pope's. But if a poll were taken among Republicans today, between Jesus and President Trump, I can tell you Trump would not get more than 5% of the votes. I know a lot of Republicans.

Popularity has never been one of the accomplishments of God's Prophets, Christ's Apostles, or true Christians at any time in all of history. That tells me that popularity, with the majority, is not a Christian attribute, and should not be. In fact, considering God's Roll Call of the faithful in Hebrews 11, none of whom had popular approval during their times, it is made clear that majority popularity among the true people of God has to be a spiritual liability and contradiction. Popularity is never once mentioned in the Bible as a Christian asset, attribute or spiritual gift of a believer in Jesus Christ.

"For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be a servant of Christ." Galatians 1:10.     Our calling is to please God not men. But that is just one side of the  Christian calling coin. Jesus pointed out the other side of the issue in John 15:18 where he told his disciples ...    "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."

Therefore, considering the best known and popular pseudo preachers on the religious scene today, most of whom also have television networks, jet planes and mansions, the message seems clear. Most are not on God's list of today's "Expounders Of Truth", "Preacher's Of Rightness", and certainly not equal with "Biblical Prophets and Apostles".  Religion may be popular, but true Christianity will never win any popularity contests in this sin-full world.  In church, yes, and probably in some cities, but nationally and world-wide .... no.  Notice I underlined that fact in the verse above.    "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son..."   but the majority of that same world does not love Him, believe in Him or serve Him.

If our calling is to please God, witness Jesus to the lost world, and preach/teach the full council of God, we will not and cannot please the world and will never be in the majority until Christ's 1000 year Millennial kingdom. At the end of which the devil is loosed, again deceives the nations, raises an evil army, and attacks Christ and the faithful. That will be the shortest war in history as those nations are destroyed by God. That is the conclusion of the seventh dispensation, when the second resurrection, of the lost dead, and great white throne of God's judgment of them takes place. That last rebellion against God, led by Satan, with a massive army of human beings   (Rev.20)     is the final chapter of the human race and completes the seven dispensations of its existence on earth. Free will, self willed humans will have failed in the dispensation of Innocence, in Eden, four others recorded in the Old Testament, then the church age of enlightenment and finally the Millennial Kingdom with Christ sitting on the throne in their very presence. After that final judgment, for the rest of eternity, Christian's, then as the Bride of Christ, will be a 100% majority.

In the mean time, to preserve our rights, in America, to carry out God's Great Commission, witness to the lost, be faithful stewards, freely worship our God in or out of our churches, and sing His praises above a whisper, we true Christians, as a minority, must ALL participate in preserving the freedoms of our U.S. Constitution which our Christian forefathers, with their blood, established as U.S. Law, as God led them.
PRAY, SPEAK UP, VOTE.

Mexico President Sings Trump's Praises Long/Sweet

Time Can Heal And Time Can Kill...

Yes, it is true that time heals all wounds
while it also wounds all heals ...............
"Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil." Ecc.8:11
Delayed judgment does not prove God's disinterest but His grace.

The story below has been developing over the two years of the Trump administration. All of that time the major news networks, the Democrats and even establishment Republicans have whined, screamed and cursed the President ...but time has caught up with them and wounded their "feelings" but his plan has healed the unfair NAFTA problem. It was a long and difficult process which has produced a new, fair trade agreement with Mexico and will soon also include Canada. NAFTA was a product of U.S. Liberals which gave away the farm to both Mexico and Canada. Trump's team healed that wound. Now, we hear the Mexican President singing Trump's praises for taking the bull by the horns and strongly correcting the problem. It is true. I heard his long phone commendation of  Trump. You can too.

The end result of this new agreement will bless Mexico and the USA equally. Now, I will bet my bottom dollar that the next poll of U.S. Mexicans will show a dramatic rise of at least 10% in their approval of President Trump.

This from LifeZetta  ... But where is NBC, CBS, ABC and MSM's honest reporting of this break-through?

Top Mexican Official Says Trump ‘Proved’ Naysayers ‘Wrong’ on NAFTA

Luis Videgaray Caso said the 'brilliant' new trade deal is a 'breakthrough,' hopes Canada will sign on, too.

So You Go To Bed One Night 39 And Wake Up 62

Another week and you're 87...
Everybody knows it but you ...

"$5.37 or $4.68?" ... That's what the kid behind the counter at Taco Bell said to me.

"$5.37?" He repeated.

I dug into my pocket and pulled out some lint and two dimes and something that used to be a breath mint. Having already handed the kid a five-spot, I started to head back out to the truck to grab some change when the kid with the Elmo hairdo said the hardest thing anyone has ever said to me.

He said, "It's OK. I'll just give you the senior citizen discount."

I turned to see who he was talking to and then heard the sound of change hitting the counter in front of me. "Only $4.68," he said cheerfully. I stood there stupefied. I am 56, not even 60 yet?

A mere child! Senior citizen? No way!

I took my burrito and walked out to the truck wondering what was wrong with Elmo. Was he blind?

As I sat in the truck, my blood began to boil. Old? Me?

I'll show him, I thought.  I opened the door and headed back inside. I strode to the counter, and there he was waiting with a smile. Before I could say a word, he held up something and jingled it in front of me, like I could be that easily distracted!

What am I now? A toddler?

"Dude! Can't get too far without your car keys, eh?"

I stared with utter disdain at the keys. I began to rationalize in my mind! "Leaving keys behind hardly makes a man elderly! It could happen to anyone!" I turned and headed back to the truck. I slipped the key in the ignition, but it wouldn't turn. What now? I checked my keys and tried another. Still nothing. That's when I noticed the purple beads hanging from my rearview mirror. I had no purple beads hanging from my rearview mirror. Then, a few other objects came into focus: The car seat in the back seat. Happy Meal toys spread all over the floorboard. A partially eaten doughnut on the dashboard. Faster than you can say ginkgo biloba, I flew out of the alien vehicle.

Moments later I was speeding out of the parking lot, relieved to finally be leaving this nightmarish stop in my life... That is when I felt it, deep in the bowels of my stomach: hunger!  My stomach growled and churned, and I reached to grab my burrito, only it was nowhere to be found.

I swung the truck around, gathered my courage, and strode back into the restaurant one final time.

There Elmo stood, draped in youth and black nail polish.

All I could think was, "What is the world coming to?" All I could say was, "Did I leave my food and drink in here"? At this point, I was ready to ask a Boy Scout to help me back to my vehicle, and then go straight home and apply for Social Security benefits.

Elmo had no clue.

I walked back out to the truck, and suddenly a young lad came up and tugged on my jeans to get my attention. He was holding up a drink and a bag. His mother explained, "I think you left this in my truck by mistake." I took the food and drink from the little boy and sheepishly apologized. She offered these kind words: "It's OK. My grandfather does stuff like this all the time." All of this is to explain how I got a ticket doing 85 in a 40 mph zone. Yessss, I was racing some punk kid in a Toyota Prius.  And no, I told the officer, I'm not too old to be driving this fast.

As I walked in the front door, my wife met me halfway down the hall... I handed her a bag of cold food and a $300 speeding ticket.  I promptly sat in my rocking chair and covered up my legs with a blanket. The good news was that I had successfully found my way home.

Notice the larger type? I do that for your convenience... not mine.

There Is Huge Press Coverage About The "N" Word

More Than About God, The Devil, Or Eternity

So Exactly What Does That Little Word Mean And Where Did It Come From? Does It Mean Ugly, Nasty or Evil?

The Free Dictionary says...
"The word Negroid was coined as a racial categorization in the 1800s. Negroid, Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and other "oid" words, once widely used in anthropology."

Wikipedia says....

"The term "Negroid" is still used in certain disciplines such as forensic and physical anthropology...."

Merriam Webster Dictionary says...

"A member of a race of humankind native to Africa and classified according to physical features (such as dark skin pigmentation ...."

Audio English Dictionary says ...

"A person with dark skin who comes from Africa (or whose ancestors came from Africa."

Latin Dictionary says...
"The definition for the Latin 'n' word: niger, nigra, nigrum ..." is negro, which means black.

From "Africa Speaks" Race And History ...

"THE ORIGINAL MEANING OF THE "N" WORD HAD A CONNOTATION CONNECTED TO THE GODS.
The word "nig..." used to be the most revered and sacred word in the universe. It was the "devine epithet," and the people who began using the mother of all words that originated from this word which was sullied by the British, were the ancient Egyptians or better, the Khemites, who called their land, "Khemet" or "The Black Land... THE WORD "N-G-R" MEANS "GOD" IN ANCIENT EGYPTIAN. The father of the "n" word was the word used by the ancient Egyptians for "God." That word was "N-g-r" and as one can see, there are no vowels in this word. In the ancient African and even present African languages (the Afro-Asiatic linguistic family) vowels such as "a,e,i,o,u" are not found in many translations, particularly of ancient Hebrew and Egyptian languages.
In the translation of ancient Egyptian and Hebrew (which is heavily influenced by Egyptian), one will not always find vowels, therefore, very few people will realize that the word for God, which is "N-g-r" pronounced "en-ger" was the Egyptian word for God. In fact, the Egyptian word for "nature," is also the word used for God. That word is "ntyr," (pronounced net-jer." ....
MANY AFRICAN WORDS DENOTING PEOPLE OR IMPORTANT PEOPLE STARTS WITH "N"
In many African languages particularly the Niger-Congo language family. Words that connect with people, Gods, and groups begin with "n" and that word is always the first word. For instance, the word "Nkosi" in Xhosa is "God." The word "Ndaba," in another South African language is "council" (or gathering of elders). Many common names also begin with "N". WORDS OF AFRICAN ORIGINS THAT CAME   FROM THE ORIGINAL WORD, "N-G-R" ....

And this from the Catholic New Advent...

Note: This article was published in 1911, and is retained in the online edition for historical reasons only.
The term negro, derived from the Spanish and the Latin words meaning "black" (negro; Niger), may be applied to a large portion of mankind, but it is more strictly confined to certain peoples and tribes of Central Africa and their descendants in various parts of the world. The Bluemback fivefold division of mankind considers the negro in the first place under Ethiopian, embracing
the Kafir, Hottentot, Australian, Alforian, and Oceanic Negroes. Pritchard and Latham rightly protest against the error of considering the term negro synonymous with African. There are dark-skinned people of various types throughout the tropical countries of the world.
My "Theologian's" Common Sense Comment:
"So why is a historical word, whose origin meant "God", which began with an unoffensive meaning, as did Caucasian and Mongoloid, become so insulting, so hated and cause for rage, that the very utterance of that one word ruins careers, causes firings, hatred, murder, and subdivides prisons? Is there any other single word so powerful in a free speech nation which now uses God's name in vain and the "F" word so profusely in public, on nationwide TV and among our political leaders? Again, it is a double standard. If Negro simply means black in its origin, and in Latin and Spanish, and black folks prefer to be called "Black", how is it such a colossal insult. After all, the original meaning of the word was in reference to the Egyptian God and simply means "black".  Yes, of course, it is impertinent, rude and unkind to call anyone by any name they deem undesirable, but it is not a crime to call me "Whitie", "Cracker", "Redneck", or an "SOB"; I am white, I like crackers, I am first cousin to Red Necks. I know what I am and who I am. What someone calls me, as an insult, will reflect more on them than on me. Will it insult me? Only if I let it. It may have when I was a 17 year old Marine, sensitive to insults, but I am no longer infected by that stupid, adolescent virus.

Lately I have read of heads of corporations, famous and powerful people, as well as kids on their first jobs being fired for unwisely using the "N" word. In truth, it is no worse than calling me "whitie", a Jew "Kike", a Chinese "Chink", an Italian "Dego", or a Mexican "Chili". Most people know this shouldn't be done, and it does reflect on ones intelligence. It shows immaturity, rudeness and arrogance, not because of its importance but because of a common misconception of its importance. It is not the unpardonable sin or even a crime in this freedom of speech nation.... one of the few left on earth. But for how long? The left wing can legislate laws against stupidity... but that is no remedy for the disease of racism and callousness.  Half the problem is the ignorance of its users and half the hyper sensitivity of its subjects. Call me anything you like, I know who  and what I am. Insulters hurt only themselves.

Sticks and stones may break my bones,
but words will never hurt me.  That is only true of the mature and secure person.

The earliest citation  of that rhyme I can find is from an American periodical with a largely black audience, The Christian Recorder, March 1862. Is maturity on the decline?

If everyone but the hopeless provocteurs, on both sides, would simply use common sense, none of this would
cause such unreasonable turmoil and division. RB

Final Plea Of The Model Prayer "Deliver Us From Evil"

Evil Began When Lucifer Turned On God, In Heaven

As an Archangel, and a free moral agent with a free will to choose, his free will chose to dethrone God and become God, himself. Of course, he lost that rebellion and was cast out of God's heaven, into the earth, and he brought his darkness with him (Isa.14:12-14). That is why Genesis 1:1 found the world "without form, void, and in darkness". Though, of course, he has always failed to unseat God, it is still his main desire. To that end he has employed every strategy, tool, and crisis at his disposal, including Governments and people, to strike down, with evil, everything and everyone close to God.

There has never been a time of "spiritual crisis", including all our nation's physical wars, since our Pilgrim Christian forefathers landed on these shores, that our nation was under a greater spiritual threat, than right now.  As the Return of Christ draws near, Lucifer's hate and jealously seem to grow hotter and more formidable and his human zealots more determined.

The powers that be, the    "Wickedness in high places" Eph.6:12,   within the global kingdoms and power structures of the world, have never ceased to carry on Lucifer's continuing assault in what I call The Battle Of The Ages. Though they may not realize that their "New World Order" kingdom on earth ... is a subversive counterfeit of Christ's Millennial Kingdom. For that same reason, he, Lucifer, and those in bondage to him, attack the Bible, Christianity, God's people and freedom. Every Jew and Christian has witnessed the otherwise unexplainable hatred and action these powers of darkness have used in attacking God and His beloved people who are devoted to Him.  In my 68 years of ministry, the "powers of darkness" (Eph.6:12) have steadily increased, against God and his people.    "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Today it is worse, at least in America, than it has ever been. During my long ministry, trying to serve our Lord, I have prayed thousands of times, as Jesus taught us,   "Deliver us from evil".   Every day when I hear the news, I am constrained to pray those words because evil is compounding itself and and constantly becoming a greater hazard to God's people and all things holy, in these last days.

It is God's desire, and the reason for Jusus' death, to "deliver us from all evil", the guilt of it, the judgment of it and one day even the presence of it. But until then, our sinful, fleshly nature, is not only passed along, through the flesh, from parent to child, dating back to Adam and Eve, but is also each person's choice of will, before redemption. Our only deliverance and escape, from the guilt and penalty of sin, is by God's grace through our faith in His substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus, who died on the cross, in our place, for all of our sins, past, present and future.    "Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver is from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father." Gal.1:4.

My subject,   "Deliver us from evil"    is found in Christ's Model Prayer in Matt.6 & Lk.11. Most people call it the Lord's Prayer, but Jesus, when His disciples asked Him to "Teach us to pray", answered by saying, "When you pray, say .... forgive us our sins .... deliver us from evil....". That's not a full quote but I quote those three phrases to point out that Jesus was telling them how to pray not praying for himself. He said, "When you Pray". Then the prayer asks, "forgive us our sins", sins which Jesus did not have (Heb.4:15). And then,   "deliver us from evil"   which was no problem for Him but is for us.  The word, "evil" here, in the Greek is "Poneros" (root of pornography) and is translated into 14 different words. Some as action verbs relating to evil doing, or as nouns referring to evil persons, places, or things. Poneros may be speaking of an evil we may do, an evil someone else may do to us, or a place where evil resides. That part of the "Model Prayer" is a plea to our heavenly Father to deliver us from the evil, the bad, the grievous, the lewdness, maliciousness or wickedness which may be used of Satan, his demons or his people to seduce us. Or, it may be in prayer to be delivered from entering into it or to be rescued out of it.

Our part, of such deliverance, is to avoid it at its first moment of appearance.  1 Thess.5:22, "Abstain from all appearance of evil."   That verse is not just another command to,   "Abstain from fleshly lusts...." 1 Pet.2:11  - or   "Abstain from pollutions of idols...." Acts 15:20....   - or   "Abstain from fornication ...." 1 Thess.4:3.   No, 1 Thess.5:22 commands us to,   "Abstain from all appearance of evil."   That predates the actual committing of sin, ...before the fact. Don't even look at it, listen to it, sniff it, taste it, fantasize of it, or go near it. Turn away at its first hint, thought, sound, smell or offer.    "The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." 1 John 2:16.   We all face it everyday of our lives.   "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7.

69 Earthquakes In Ring Of Fire In Two Days

Wars, International Conflict, New Diseases, Famines and Earthquakes are signs of Christs Return ...

Having surrendered my life to preach the Gospel in North Korea 68 years ago, I returned home and entered Seminary. Shortly after that, Bunnie and I visited my parents in East Texas and I was asked to preach my first sermon in their little country church. I felt led to choose Matthew 24 as my very first sermon. My first cousin, Rose Ann Blair and a boy of about 12-13 whose last name was Lawrence, were saved. My subject was, "The Signs Of Christ's Return".

The disciples asked Jesus,   "What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them .... ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars .... .For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." Matt.24:6-8
Luke's record added... "....fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven...." Lk.21:11.

'Big One' talk swirls as 69 massive earthquakes hit the Pacific's Ring of Fire in 48 hours

A large swath of earthquakes hit Pacific's so-called Ring of Fire earlier this week, prompting some to wonder if it is a precursor to the oft-discussed massive earthquake, colloquially known as "the Big One," Sixty-nine earthquakes, including 16 tremors registering 4.5 or above on the Richter scale, recently hit the area, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), which recorded the events but did not issue a warning.

German hearing aids will change your life Several of the quakes registered significant impacts, including one that hit 5.0 and shook the area on Tuesday morning. Fiji appeared to be the most impacted, as five tremors above a 4.5 magnitude hit the small island.

'BIG ONE' COMING? EARTHQUAKES OFF THE WEST COAST COULD TRIGGER A GLOBAL EVENT

Luckily, the earthquakes did not reach the western coast of the U.S., which partially sits on the Cascadia subduction zone, a fault that stretches from mid-Vancouver Island to Northern California. The recent tremors have sparked concern that "the Big One" could be near, according to The Daily Mail, but the USGS has made no mention of this.

Of the 69 earthquakes, 53 hit the area on Sunday, followed by the 16 subsequent tremors, impacting Indonesia, Bolivia, Japan and the aforementioned Fiji.

"The Big One" "The Big One" is often described as an earthquake with a magnitude 8 or above, causing massive destruction to California, which some have said is overdue for an earthquake of this magnitude. California sits on the San Andreas fault, a 750-mile fault that has been responsible for some of the state's most devastating earthquakes.

The last earthquake that came close to a 8.0 magnitude in California was the great earthquake of 1906, which hit a magnitude of 7.9 and shook San Francisco to the ground, destroying 80 percent of the city and resulted in 3,000 deaths.

A massive earthquake registering 8.2 was registered on Sunday, hitting 174 miles north-northeast of Ndoi Island, Fiji, according to the the USGS. Luckily, the massive quake did not cause any significant damage, hitting at a depth of 347.7 miles, too deep to cause a tsunami.

“We are monitoring the situation and some places felt it, but it was a very deep earthquake,” Director Apete Soro told Reuters in an interview.

CALIFORNIA MEGA-EARTHQUAKE FEAR: IS THE SAN ANDREAS FAULT AT RISK OF THE 'BIG ONE?'

The Ring of Fire The Ring of Fire is a 25,000 mile horseshoe-shaped ring, accounting for approximately 90 percent of the world's earthquakes, according to the USGS.

The region also contains 452 volcanoes, more than 75 percent of the world's active and dormant volcanoes.

Though the USGS did not issue a warning, the recent spat of earthquakes in the Ring of Fire could eventually cause some problems for the western part of the U.S. and other close regions.

Speaking with Vox in February, University of California Santa Cruz professor Emily Brodsky said "earthquakes and volcanoes can interact," before adding it's unclear how much the string of earthquakes we've seen in recent months are connected. Brodsky also said that having quakes and volcanic eruptions at the same time in an active area is not unusual.

SCIENTISTS FIND DOZENS OF HIDDEN EARTHQUAKES BURIED UNDER ANTARCTICA'S ICE

In late July, a string of recent earthquakes off the West Coast of the U.S., ranging from 2.8 to 5.6 on the Richter scale, also raised questions of whether the "Big One" could be near.

Matt. 24:3-33

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
