A Muslim, Trojan Horse Stands Within Our Nation

Towering over every other power but God's ...

Common Sense Commentary: Surely there are enough patriotic Americans who love this country and cherish the truth, who are willing to stand up and speak out against what our political leaders are allowing to happen to America. We must, whatever the cost, defend our American heritage and our freedom from this tsunami wave of Islamic and Immoral destruction that is sweeping across this land ... from the Trojan donkey in the White House to our infected Universities and Public Schools to the decadent Liberal News Media. In the name of Jesus, integrity, honor and America's families and churches let us take whatever action necessary to put a stop to this evil plague of satanic heresy strangling our country to death. RB

Watch the video below and pass it on to everyone.
This lady (Brigitte Gabriel) was on CNN recently.
She has been threatened with death by ISIS. She
said that the New York police department is the
best organization when it comes to intelligence on
terrorism.  Not the CIA, not the FBI.  Americans/
Canadians/Europeans need to wake up and listen
to her warning.  She is not reading the words from

I Cannot Argue With This Grassroots Observation

Common Sense Commentary: This grassroots observation of U.S. Leadership speaks for itself. RB

Junius P. Long's Observation Of National Leadership Idiocy

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally ..... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion ... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If you have to show identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book, but you don't have to show ID for the right to vote on who runs the government ..... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If the government wants to ban stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines with more than ten rounds, but gives 20 F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in  Egypt ..... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If, in the largest city of the country, you can buy two or more 16-ounce sodas, but not a 24-ounce soda because the government says a 24-ounce sugary drink might make you fat ..... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman can be stripped searched by the TSA, but a woman in a hi-jab is only subject to having her neck and head searched because of her religion ...... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more ... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If a seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher’s "cute," but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable ..... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If hard work and success is rewarded with higher taxes and more government intrusion, while not working is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized housing, and free cell phones ..... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If the government's plan for getting people back to work is to reward them with 99 weeks of unemployment checks with no requirement to prove they applied for it ..... Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you more "safe" according to the government .....Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

If you are offended by this article, then I'll bet you voted for the idiots who are ruining our great country!

Finally... Pastors, Christians, Orthodox Jews And Other Moral Leaders Take A Stand

Common Sense Commentary: No issue of Biblical import and natural law could be more clear than the fact that marriage is between a man and a woman only. It is not a debatable subject. It is inscribed in Scripture and in the laws of nature. To disavow it is to do so in the face of God and common sense.  The moral, Christian line has finally been drawn and we cannot, will not yield and agree to host, perform or participate in this violation of our faith and practice as clearly defined in the Bible, the word of God. It matters not what threat, fine or legal action may be taken against us. The debate, in our minds and hearts, is a life and death issue. We will not ... I will not be forced to be any part of a mock marriage between two men or two women even if the Supreme Court rules we must ....if requested. Jail is not nearly so bad as defying God. RB

Here is the united stand we are taking, expressed by the pastor of one of the largest churches in America, Jack Graham, in Dallas.
Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Texas, a man not given to hyperbole, is warning American Christians to be "prepared for massive fallout" if the Supreme Court legalizes same sex marriage, stating "there’s a coming a day, I believe, that many Christians personally and churches corporately will need to practice civil disobedience on this issue."

As Southern Baptist Christians, we are committed to Biblical faith and ethics. As a result, this body of Believers stands on the authority of Scripture and God's Truth as central to our lives.

What the Bible says about marriage is clear, definitive and unchanging. We affirm biblical, traditional, natural marriage as the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. The Scriptures' teaching on marriage is not negotiable. We stake our lives upon the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
Consequently, we will not accept, nor adhere to, any legal redefinition of marriage issued by any political or judicial body including the United States Supreme Court. We will not recognize same-sex "marriages", our churches will not host same-sex ceremonies, and we will not perform such ceremonies.

While we affirm our love for all people, including those struggling with same-sex attraction, we cannot and will not affirm the moral acceptability of homosexual behavior or any behavior that deviates from God's design for marriage. We also believe religious freedom is at stake within this critical issue – that our first duty is to love and obey God, not man.

Therefore, we strongly encourage all Southern Baptist pastors, leaders, educators, and churches to openly reject any mandated legal definition of marriage and to use their influence to affirm God's design for life and relationships. As the nation's largest non-Catholic denomination with over 16 million members, we stake our very lives and future on the Truth of God's Word.

We also join together to support those who stand for natural marriage in the corporate world, the marketplace, education, entertainment, media and elsewhere with our prayers and influence, and resources.

Graham was asked "what would it look like if 16 million Southern Baptists engaged in civil disobedience?" His response was "I hope we never live to find out what that looks like. There are many Christians today who are preparing if necessary to go to jail."

“The punch that is most deadly is the one you don’t see coming,” Graham said. “You need to see this coming. It’s coming your way. It’s coming to a town, a city, a university, a college, a church near you,” he said.

Judgment is here and the battle lines have been drawn.

Recently a full page ad was taken out in Washington Post by Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox Christian pastors, clergy, lay leaders and Jewish leaders, who collectively represent millions of people in their specific churches, parishes, denominations, synagogues andmedia ministry outreaches, as an "Open Letter to the Supreme Court Justices of the United States," informing them "we will not honor any decision by the Supreme Court which will force us to violate a clearbiblical understanding of marriage as solely the union of one man and one woman."

That ad ended with Acts 5:29 "But Peter and the apostles answered, We must obey God rather than men."

50,000 pastors and church leaders have signed a petition which states in part, "We stand united together in defense of marriage. Make no mistake about our resolve. While there are many things we can endure, redefining marriage is so fundamental to the natural order and the common good that this is the line we must draw and one we cannot and will not cross."

Political Manipulation Of All Federal Agencies, Vital Statistics And Free Markets Is Tyranny

Common Sense Commentary: The U.S. Executive Branch, Treasury and Federal Reserve Bank's constant manipulation of the Interest Rate, Labor Statistics, Inflation Rate, U.S. Currency Exchange Rate, Bond Market, Stock Market, Futures Market, Gold and Silver prices, Hedging and even the News Media has reached "Critical Mass". At this point, any major Black Swan event could cause a chain reaction and bring it all down ... with our American way of life and our freedom. Examples of each of those areas would be a "Book Sized Blog". So I will offer an example of just one. RB

This from IRD, Investment Research Dynamics...

Silver Manipulation May Be

The Most Extreme In History

June 12, 2015

"Much has been made in this commentary of the soaring silver open interest, which ought to be unprecedented in commodity market history."  – Bill “Midas” Murphy, co-founder and Chairman of GATA (Gold Anti Trust Action Committee) GATA website is www.gata.org/

The open interest in Comex silver hit another new all-time high yesterday.  As of Wednesday’s final open interest report, the open interest in silver was 189.7k contracts. This is the highest the open interest has been based on data I have going back to April 2005.

189.7k contracts translates into 948.5 million ounces of silver.  According to the Silver Institute, the total global silver mine output for 2014 was 877 million ozs.  The amount of paper silver open interest on the Comex is thus greater than the amount of silver mined in a year globally.

The ratio of silver futures open interest to the amount of silver warehoused on the Comex is even more absurdly disproportionate.   As of Wednesday, June 10 the Comex vault operators (JP Morgan, Scotia, HSBC, Delaware Depository, CNT and Brink’s) were reporting a total of 179.7 million ozs of silver in Comex vaults.  Of that, 57.8 ozs were classified as “registered,” or available for delivery (the rest was being “safekept” at the Comex by investors or commercial users of silver).

Based on these numbers, the silver open interest is now 5.3x higher than the total amount of silver on the Comex and 16.4x the amount of silver that has been made available for delivery.

Never in the history of the commodities markets has the amount of futures outstanding for any commodity been this extraordinarily disconnected from the amount of the physical supply produced and available for delivery.

Anyone who asserts that gold and silver are not manipulated using paper derivatives just based on the market action alone is either completely corrupted – with a motivated financial interest in denying the obvious – or is a total idiot.  But upon examining the Comex data for silver – and accepting it prima facie, which I do not (I believe the real numbers are even more extreme) – anyone who denies that silver is manipulated in extremis has likely received a full frontal lobotomy.

The blatant takedown in gold and silver signals to me that something is coming. I enjoyed Keith Neumeyer’s letter to the CFTC. When a major producer like First Majestic raises the issue I think the CFTC will have a more difficult time blowing it off than another diatribe from Ted Butler.  – John Embry

Briefly, the price of gold/silver is manipulated in two ways.  The first method involves “bombing” the Comex (either the trading floor or the electronic Globex trading system) with massive futures sell orders, typically during periods of low liquidity or when economic reports are released.   This causes the sharp sell-offs.   The second method involves price capping, which is achieved by meeting periods increased demand from buyers with added supply of futures.

If the allowable amount of gold/silver futures open interest was pegged to the amount of physical gold/silver available for delivery, it would be impossible for the banks to print an infinite supply of paper contracts to meet demand from buyers.  This is how every other commodities product operates.   In fact, isn’t this how every other commercial product market typically operates?

The motivation by the Fed/Government to keep a lid on the price of precious metals is certainly understandable.  If gold and silver were allowed to operate in a market of bona fide price discovery, they would almost instantaneously re-price at significantly higher levels.  This event would completely undermine the legitimacy of the dollar.  It would disrupt entirely the massive wealth transfer mechanism being operated by America’s corporate, banking and political elite.   We’re talking about blood money.

There’s no telling how much longer this extreme manipulation can continue.  History has shown that market interventions eventually fail – often with serious consequences.  As I have suggested in recent commentary, I believe that the credit market is sending signals which indicate that western Central Banks and Governments are beginning to lose their ability to control the markets.

This whole thing is totally nuts. I still think silver will go bonkers within the next few months. Maybe that is a hope trade of mine, but I smell it as much as I smelled my biggest winner, the copper move of 1987.  – Bill Murphy

We Must Change How We Think In This Warfare

Common Sense Commentary: I don't know if the author of the article below is a Christian or not, but judging by his clear, concise and analytical thinking, he probably is.  He approaches the "spiritual" problem of "globalism" with a world view that is logical, spiritually correct and would restore America to its former self ... if.  I say "logical" because it makes perfect sense. I say "spiritually correct" because I think it is our Christian calling to always stand against evil, resisting temptation and doing what is right even if we don't win all of these preliminary battles and it gets us killed. We are "soldiers of the cross". I said that this writer's remedy "would restore America ... "if" because it is entirely possible that the "globalism" he sees clearly as an evil thing, has a dichotomic root origin which will determine its outcome. One is the fact that America and the world may be "reaping what we sowed" (Gal.6:7) and we must pay the price. The second is that "if" this globalization is a fulfillment of the prophetic prediction that in the last days a new world order, of world unity like that of Babel, will arise, which the Antichrist will assume control of. That prophecy will come to pass sooner or later as described in Rev.13 and other scriptures. Read the entire chapter but note especially v.7 "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." This will come to pass. The question is, Is this present globalization the beginnings of the one prophesied? If it is, it cannot be reversed. But whether it can be stopped or not does not determine whether we should oppose it, stand against it, resist it and keep obeying Christ's command to never cease doing God's work ... regardless of the consequences. Jesus said in Lk.19:13, "... Occupy till I come." Winning all of the spiritual, moral battles we stand against is not the point. The point is to "stand", "withstand"  and never cease to "resist" such evil (Jm.4:7) and to "occupy" our calling, in the work of Christ, til He returns. He will win the final battle. Our calling is to "stand" and "withstand" in this warfare ... not necessarily to win every battle. "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness." Eph. 6:13-14. Being right and fighting the "good fight" is sacred. Temporal success is not. Evil often wins... temporarily. We may not win this globalism battle ... but we must never give up. "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called...." 1 Tim.6:12.   RB

To defeat globalism, we must change how we think

From Personal Liberty by Brandon Smith

I was born just before the very onset of the digital era. I count myself lucky, in part, to be so deeply involved in the burgeoning of the information generation. I also count myself lucky to have seen the world without the free flow of media, because I know what to appreciate and what to be suspicious of. Many people 10 years younger than I really have no clue of the bottleneck that used to exist within our news system. Imagine if there were only three or four news websites you were able to visit daily, and all of these sites supported the same agenda. That is what life was like before the Web, and it was truly awful in many ways.
That said, the digital age has also brought with it an era of unwarranted expectations and unrealistic entitlements. As Americans, many of us grow accustomed to unlimited media stimulus, numerous social and financial safety nets, and an overall sense that our system will always be there to service our needs under any situation. Though we have vast pools of knowledge at our fingertips, we have become more complacent, less productive and less proactive. This is the opposite of what should be happening.
It may be conditioned laziness or fear of commitment to uncertain undertakings. Or maybe many people have just forgotten how to do things for themselves, much like humanity has forgotten how to make proper stone tools; the ability has simply died out with time. It’s hard to say, but there is something vital missing from the American dynamic today, a void that is slowly killing us.
With the advent of forced globalization and the philosophy of interdependency, it would seem that there has been a correlating attitude that entrepreneurship, self-reliance and innovation are mostly impractical. I don’t think this is a coincidence. Today, we learn to take the fish we are given, rather than learn how to fish ourselves. And this behavior is encouraged. Why? It’s because a man who can fish is independent, and an independent man is harder to control. Thus, an independent man is dangerous.
I don’t meet many folks lately who necessarily embrace the idea of interdependency and globalism, but they have learned to ignore it or to begrudgingly live with it. They may even know well that it affects them negatively, yet they do nothing because they have been told over and over again that globalism is inevitable (mostly by globalists). The solution to the problem is complex, but it begins with a simple decision: the decision to build for ourselves and think for ourselves, or the decision to do nothing.
The idea that a mass event of people chanting mantras and marching around is the be-all and end-all of social and political change has poisoned our sense of reality. These kinds of actions do not worry the establishment. What worries the establishment is self-determination and private action, people providing for themselves and removing the system as a crutch. This kind of solution does not require you to wait around for everyone else to “get it.” All it requires is that you take personal initiative and perhaps lead by example.
In order to defeat globalism, we ultimately have to construct a better alternative. Given the utter failure and disarray that seem to follow globalization everywhere, this should not be hard to do. When we enact methods of independence — or what I call “localism” — successfully, we force the power brokers to do one of two things:
  1. Admit that we have accomplished a better way of living and fade away as irrelevant.
  2. Try to use physical force to stop us from being independent.
In either case, we win. If the latter occurs, then we have forced the elites to reveal their true natures — not as benevolent caretakers, but as monsters with aspirations as slave owners. If the latter occurs, then we fight back; but we do so from a solid place on the moral high ground.
You can make this strategy tangible in your daily life. Become a producer. Provide necessities for yourself, your family and your community. Learn useful skill sets, as many as possible. Invent and create better ways and means of survival and sustained existence. Stop waiting for others to lead the way. You lead the way in your own areas of influence.
For many people, this might sound like a fantasy, given the rampant subservience we see in the public around us. “They are too far gone,” some people will say. “They are hopeless.” I’m not so sure. The average man often longs for a return to self-reliance. It is a part of our genetic code or our very spirit. He just has to be reminded how it is done. It is our job as aware people to re-teach others how to make their own way again. Perhaps I am a foolish optimist, but I believe there is still something within us and in American culture in general — something special that has not been quite extinguished.
I am not fighting for what our society is today; our society has psychologically derailed. But I am fighting for what I know our society can be: a self-generating and bold land of individuals, where voluntary action is the norm and is respected; where men measure themselves by their concrete accomplishments and mastery of their skills, rather than the status they attain through subservience to the collective; and where people achieve again, rather than laugh at those who make the attempt because doing nothing is easier and seemingly more profitable. I may not witness this in my lifetime. But with my efforts in this era, along with your efforts, future generation can look back at us feeling thankful rather than betrayed.
–Brandon Smith

I comment Brandon on his article. Would to God there were more Americans who had his convictions and insights into globalism. I challenge all of you, and myself as well, as Brandon says, to "Change how we think" to Apostle Paul's admonition....
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are  honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,  whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Phil.4:8.  RB

Courageous Four Star Admiral, James Lyons, Speaks Out

Common Sense Commentary: Our Liberal Main Street Media has simply ignored this obvious act of reckless endangerment of our country, our foreign service personnel, our troops in the Middle East and our national interests in general. RB

From The Political Insider

Four-Star Admiral Makes
HUGE Announcement
About Muslim Brotherhood
In Our Government

Retired 4-Star U.S. Navy Admiral James A. “Ace” Lyons was recently at the National Press Club. And his claims are shocking.

It appears that the Obama Regime has been FULLY infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood terrorism front group on every level. And that pro-radical Islam group is also in every level of U.S. security agencies. Lyons went on to say that “the transformation of America has been in full swing ever since 2008.” And when Obama campaigned on a platform to “fundamentally transform America,” Obama has done exactly that!

In addition Lyons made the important point that there is no meaningful line between Islam and radical Islam. “Islam is Islam,” he said.

Speaking about Obama’s refusal to attend the recent march in France, reportedly attended by more than 50 world leaders to condemn Islamic terrorism following the gruesome murders of cartoonists who had the audacity to lampoon Islam, Admiral Lyons said that act was a “signal to Islamic Jihadists,” and is “one of many signals he sent over the years while in office.” “There’s no question we got a hell of a job ahead of us,” Admiral Lyons said. “With the Muslim Brotherhood penetration in every one of our national security agencies, including all our intelligence agencies,” he proclaimed.

Admiral Lyons said that our “lead intelligence agency” is “headed by a Muslim convert,” a reference to Obama CIA head John Brennan.

The new GOP majority in both houses of Congress were elected to “stop the transformation of America, not to see how they could work with the president.”

The Magna Carta's 800th Birthday...June 15, 2015

Common Sense Commentary: The Magna Carta was the earliest and maybe the greatest of the historically great documents devised by men. Second only to the Bible as the foundational instruments  upon which our U.S. Constitution was founded. And yet weak minded and black hearted men cannot cease to attack, demean, and violate our Constitutional rights, and seek to destroy it.

800 Years Ago, On June 15, 1215, The Magna Carta was forced upon the King of England by a united band of rebel barons who had had enough of their government's and the King's tyranny against themselves, the English people and Christian Church rights. This document guaranteed protection from illegal imprisonment, access to swift justice and limitations of feudal payments to the King. Magna Carta is Latin for "The Great Charter". It is also called Magna Carta Libertatum, Latin for "The Great Charter Of The Liberties". It was upon The Magna Carta that English and American freedoms were established. A key principle of these freedoms was that Everyone, including the King, was under the law of the land. Let us not forget nor allow our Congressmen and Presidents to forget their responsibility to us and their answerability to the law of the land ... our U.S. Constitution. RB

Magna Carta

“To all free men of our kingdom, we have also granted, for us and our heirs for ever, all the liberties written out below, to have and to keep for them and their heirs, of us and our heirs.”
The Magna Carta also established the right of free men to justice and a fair trial. “No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgment of his equals or by the law of the land.”
Many of the principles of the Magna Carta can be found in the Bill of Rights of our Constitution. We can see that in the quote I just provided from the Magna Carta. Those rights are enumerated in the Sixth Amendment and the Eighth Amendment. The Magna Carta says that “no official shall place a man on trial . . . without producing credible witnesses.” This guarantee is found in our Fifth Amendment.
The Magna Carta protected free man from being deprived “of lands, castles, liberties or rights without the lawful judgments of his equals.” The Sixth Amendment guarantees us the right to a trial by an impartial jury. The Magna Carta says that “For a trivial offense, a free man shall be fined only in proportion to the degree of his offense.” The Eighth Amendment protects the accused from being fined an excessive amount for bail. Enough! You Closet Crooks ... Get Off The Cops' Case ... You Look Like mindless Idiots Out There

Common Sense Commentary: No, they aren't perfect. No, they aren't super human.  No, they aren't without fault ... and neither are you. Yes, they do make mistakes .... and so do you.  They are like the rest of us ... faulty humans trying to do their job.

New York City is suddenly experiencing a huge crime wave as a result of political pressure and intimidation of authorities to side with mindless demonstrators, against the police. Now the city is getting the consequences it deserves for its betrayal of its law enforcement officers. I fear it is a trend you closet crooks are responsible for, and will get worse before it gets better. The insanity of it is that it hurts the neighborhoods of the rioters worse than the people they hate so much.

One young punk screamed, "They treat us like animals". Could that be because you act like animals? The root question is, Which is cause and which is effect?
Any reasonable, observant person knows where the balance is, in that question.

We are blessed that some of our fellow Americans are willing to wear the police or military uniform and put their lives on the line to protect the rest of us. You closet crooks expose your true, lawless, evil hearts every time you jump to rash conclusions and blame the cops, riot, destroy and burn your own neighborhoods. long before all the facts are revealed by a grand jury.

If you have never been in a constant fire fight for months on end with your life hanging by a thread every day and night. If you have not had to make life and death decisions in an instant... or die. If you were never an 18 or 19-year-old soldier just trying to do your job without getting your or your buddy's head blown off. Or, if you never served as a peace officer in a ghetto or a large city and had to face down thugs, dope dealers, murderers and lunatics, without setting off a riot, then you have no idea what our military and law enforcement people live through. And, I might add, at pitifully low salaries. And don't give me that Obama diatribe, "These soldiers knew what they were getting into, so let them pay for their own insurance."

Ninety-nine percent of the time, the cops are correct in their handling of the criminal element who naturally swear they are innocent in spite of the evidence against them. My advice is that you pathetic pacifists stop letting your fragile emotions be jerked around every time a historic liar and thief accuses a cop of abuse or brutality. Cops are just people, not saints or flittering little whinners like you Liberal thumb suckers and closet criminals hiding behind "good guy" masks.

Grow up. Show yourself an honest, reasonable man or woman. Stand up for those who stand up for you against every kind of evil and depraved criminal.  Its hard to support government policy these days, but 99% of the time we can support those who pay the price to keep America safe. Where would we be without them? Imagine New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and home town USA without our law enforcement protectors. I'd rather have a third rate cop come to my rescue than no cop at all.

One more word ... to you sniveling cowards who have taken it upon yourselves to ambush cops from hiding and then run into your rat hole to laugh and brag about killing a cop, to your rat pack gang of vermin. You may get away with it here but your screams will reverberate through the depths of hell for eternity.  I would speak to you with more compassion if you had any concept of what compassion is. And no, I am not a sweet smelling, soft-spoken, pink-cheeked, gullible "clergyman" like some of you prefer in preachers and neither was the Apostle Paul.  RB

This came today in my email.

Rayburn, I thought this was a very good article since our police officers are no longer respected as they once were.
My wife's brother who was a Major in the Air Force serving in Viet Nam sent me this article and wrote the first
   six statements.
Louis Holmes (Louis is a Chosin Few brother Marine)

Subject: I was a police officer.

I am very tempted to lose my Christian values when I see Al Sharpton or someone similar ranting and raving at rallies (the very events that are being protected by the Police!) when there are so few standing up for the Police.   I encourage all of you to do 6 things:
1.     Every time you see a first-responder stop and tell them how much you appreciate their service.
2.     Keep a little extra money in your pocket so, when you see a first-responder in a restaurant you can pay for their meal (if you can afford it.)
3.     Call your local city/county government elected official and tell them you expect government support for their police force.
4.     Donate to police benevolent organizations, BUT, send it or give directly to them…NOT through those phone solicitations, because only a small % actually goes to the Police.  (BTW-Every time any organization solicits over the phone, tell them you will not donate until you visit their web site to determine what percentage of your money goes to the CAUSE and how much is kept by the solicitation company.  To me…anything less than 50% to the CAUSE is unacceptable.  But, like I said..donating directly to the local organization is the best way.)
     5.  Email Al Sharpton’s network (http://nationalactionnetwork.net/about/contact-us/... and complain about his tactics to demean the Police.
I sent him a message asking him to stop ‘race-baiting’ every Police action before he gets all the FACTS.  He ends up lying and he never apologizes for his lies.
I accused him of using those tactics to keep his power and grow his finances.
     6.  The next time you bake some dessert, make a little extra and drop it off at the Police Station/Fire House/etc….say thanks for their service.
The message below is SO true……Max

I was a police officer.

Today, I will not answer the radio call that your boyfriend has come home drunk and is beating you again.

Today, I will not answer the radio call that your 16 year old daughter, who is very responsible, is four hours late coming home from school.

Today, I will not answer the radio call that your store has been robbed or your house has been burglarized.

Today, I will not stop a drunk driver from killing someone.  I will not catch a rapist or a murderer or a car thief.

Today, I will not answer the radio call that a man has a gun or tried to abduct a child or that someone has been stabbed or has been in a terrible accident.

Today, I will not save your child that you locked in a car or the child you were too busy to watch who went outside and fell into the swimming pool, but that I revived.

No, today I will not do that.

Why?

Today, I was suspended from duty for doing my job, because the media, liberals, a community organizer, a lawyer who formally represented terrorists and is the US attorney general and a mayor who ran on an anti-police agenda, who are all advised by a drug dealer, liar and income tax cheat.  AND, all who know nothing about Policing, have vilified my profession.

Because ----

Today, I was killed by a drunk driver while I was helping push a disabled car off the highway.

Today, I was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop to simply tell someone that they had a taillight out.

Today, I was killed in a traffic accident rushing to help a citizen.

Today, I was shot and killed serving a warrant on a known drug dealer.

Today, I was killed by a man when I came by to do a welfare check because his family was too busy.

Today, I was killed trying to stop a bank robbery or a grocery store robbery.

Today I was killed doing my job.

A chaplain and an officer will go to a house and tell a mom and dad or a wife or husband or a child that their son or daughter or husband or wife or father or mother won't be coming home today.

The flags at many police stations were flown at half-mast today but most people won't know why.

There will be a funeral and my fellow officers will come, a twenty-one-gun salute will be given, and taps and bagpipes will be played as I am laid to rest.

My name will be put on a plaque, on a wall, in a building, in a city somewhere.

A folded flag will be placed on a mantel or a bookcase in a home somewhere and a family will mourn.

There will be no cries for justice.  There will be no riots in the streets.  There will be no officers marching, screaming 'no justice, no peace.'  No citizens will scream that something must be done.  No windows will be smashed, no cars burned, no stones thrown, no names called.

Only someone crying themselves to sleep tonight will be the only sign that I was cared about.

I was a police officer.

Please keep our police officers and fire department men and women in our thoughts and prayers --- for all they do --- for all of us.

Texas Pastors/Churches Protected From Forced Same Sex Marriages

Common Sense Commentary: If a thing speaks for itself, let it have the floor. RB

Gov. Greg Abbott Signed Pastor
Protection Bill Into State Law
From  "Texas Values Action" June 11, 2015

Today, pastors from across the state watched Governor Greg Abbott sign the Pastor Protection Bill, SB 2065, into state law, a bill that received bipartisan support in the Texas House and Senate. SB 2065 protects Texas pastors, churches, and religious organizations from being forced to perform a marriage that violates their religious beliefs and from being forced to provide services, accommodations, facilities, goods, or privileges for a purpose related to the solemnization, formation, or celebration of any marriage if the action would cause the organization or individual to violate a sincerely held religious belief.

Despite strong opposition from some Democrats and from LGBT advocacy groups throughout the legislative process, including the ACLU, Equality Texas, and Texas Freedom Network, the bill passed with overwhelming majorities in the Texas House and Senate without any of the amendments aimed at watering-down the bill. By passing with a vote of two-thirds in both chambers, the bill takes effect immediately.

Jonathan Saenz, President of Texas Values Action, made the following statement:

"Today we honor pastors and clergy who are guided by their sincerely held religious beliefs and assure them that Texas stands firm on religious freedom without government interference. The testimonies from pastors and religious leaders who sacrificed their time and effort to share their stories are powerful reminders that we must continue to defend our First Freedoms. We are especially grateful for Sen. Craig Estes and Rep. Scott Sanford for their diligence and hard work on this legislation, and the leadership of Gov. Abbott for his support and for signing this bill into law."

Pastors from all over the state, representing millions of Texans, attended multiple hearings throughout the session supporting the bill and helped lead in the effort to pass the bill. The leadership of Lt. Gov.  Dan Patrick, House Republican Caucus Chairman Tan Parker, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and the public support by Gov. Greg Abbott for SB 2065, were also key to the passage of this law. Numerous groups also contributed to the passing of SB 2065: Texas Values Action, Concerned Women for America, Texas Pastor Council, Texas Catholic Conference, Baptist General Convention of Texas, Southern Baptist of Texas Convention, Texas Eagle Forum, Liberty Institute, Conservative Republicans of Texas, Coalition of African American Pastors, Citizenlink (a Focus on the Family partner) and numerous churches. Read our full press release.

Is Human Memory, Of Failed Socialism, As Long As A Doodle Bugs Toe ?

Common Sense Commentary: We have all seen Socialistic and Communistic (socialism plus atheism) regimes fail or still failing. The list is six miles long. And yet, a majority of Americans are dead set and determined to change our country into a socialistic dictatorship. Do they not remember Russia, Albania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Macedonia, all part of the bankrupt Soviet Union. China is slowly changing into a free enterprise system but North Korea is still entrenched in Communism and is slowly dying. Cuba still claims to be Communist but it too is bankrupt and holding on by a thread. Cuban boat people are still risking all to get out of Socialism. And this very thing that bankrupted the U.S. is our illicit and promiscuous fling with Socialism. And yet half of Americans voted for ... twice ... a self professed Socialist as President and will probably elect another one in 2016. Please God, save us from our national stupidity.

Now, the latest example of Socialism's inevitable failure is Venezuela, which has been hailed by Left-wing Socialists all over the world as an example of the blessings and benefits of Socialism. RB

From The Telegraph by Peter Foster
Venezuela's 'socialist paradise
turns into a nightmare:

Medical shortages claim lives as oil price collapses.

Peter Foster reports exclusively from Caracas, where ordinary Venezuelans battle for survival as hospitals are left without supplies and shops without basic necessities

The Perez family hold a photograph of their family member, Carmen The Perez family hold a photograph of their family member, Carmen, 51, who died in December in a state hospital in Caracas because of shortages of a prosthetic artery. A Venezuelan taxi driver from Caracas, the hardest part about watching his wife die from heart failure was knowing just how easily she could have been saved. The surgeons at the Caracas University Hospital were ready to operate on 51-year-old Carmen, but because of the shortages of medicines now ravaging Venezuela, they had no stocks of the prosthetic artery that would have saved her life. For a day, the family enjoyed a glimmer of hope after a nationwide search uncovered one such device, but Carmen needed two and a second one was nowhere to be found. She died two days later. It is life-and-death stories like these that illustrate the depth of the economic crisis now confronting Venezuela, a crumbling socialist-run petro-state that looks in danger of being tipped over the edge by the crunch in world oil prices. For Venezuelans like Mr Perez and tens of thousands more awaiting medical treatment around the country, the magic realism of Hugo Chavez’s great Bolivarian socialist revolution has turned to bitter reality less than two years after the former leader’s death from cancer. Related Articles People wait to buy chicken behind a fence at a street market in Caracas Seven charts showing why Venezuela's economy is a basket case.

Hugo Chavez 'died two months before his death was announced'  “It’s the government who is responsible for my wife’s death, not the doctors,” Mr Perez, 63, told The Telegraph last week. “Things are very bad in this country, and they are getting worse. I feel that we are in a dictatorship. At the start I believed in Chavez, now I can’t look at him. He is in the best place now.” Mr Chavez might be dead, but as one of Latin America’s most charismatic political performers, he is far from forgotten. His placid features still stare out from billboards in Caracas, while Venezuelan television still plays his rambling speeches denouncing America, capitalism and the West. He promised the people the riches of the revolution, and for a while he was able to deliver, thanks to his country being blessed with the world’s largest proven oil reserves.

Blackmarket soap, sugar and baby food for sale at over five times the government regulated prices, for sale in the Petare slum in east Caracas. But now, as the people queue at the pharmacy and the supermarket for basic necessities like baby formula, flour, milk and toilet paper, the promises sound like empty boasts. Even the middle classes, previously insulated from many of the country’s gathering economic woes, are feeling the pinch as poorer people come from the slums and suburbs in search of restricted goods, forming queues in previously upmarket areas.

Empty shelves in a privately owned pharmacy where toilet paper, laundry detergent and sanitary pads should be .... Empty shelves and wishful thinking In a shopping centre in the Sabana Grande district last week, women queued outside a pharmacy for nearly two hours to buy two four-roll packs of toilet paper. In what has become the ultimate indignity for the Venezuelan public – and a huge embarrassment for the regime – shortages of toilet paper mean it is now strictly rationed. In public, the shoppers are stoical, wary of speaking ill of a regime that has a track record of taking revenge on its critics, excluding them from the handouts and government jobs that became the hallmark of Chavez’s rule. But in private, the anger is intense. “In Venezuela, the country with the world’s largest oil reserves, you have to queue for the right to wipe your backside,” said a queuing taxi driver, who declined to give his name.

For Nicolas Maduro, the president, a former bus driver who Chavez designated as his successor and who won a disputed election in 2013, the response to the crisis has been a mixture of denial, wishful thinking and angry denunciations of international capitalism waging an “economic war” on Venezuela. But with Mr Maduro’s approval ratings now at just 20 per cent, it seems a growing number of Venezuelans no longer believe his claims that outsiders are always to blame. Having promised a 15 per cent wage and pensions increase during last month’s annual state of the nation address, Mr Maduro last week announced emergency measures to relax currency restrictions on importers of key goods, including everything from toilet paper to tuna fish. Hundreds of shoppers wait in line to enter a private-sector grocery store in Caracas.

With real inflation now running at nearly 100 per cent, according to Robert Bottome of the VenEconomia think-tank, and with Venezuela’s oil revenues being squeezed further by international oil prices, the measures were equivalent to trying to open an umbrella in a hurricane.

How About A Free Luxury Train Trip Through The Swiss Alps With Me?

Common Sense Commentary: God is so creative! Understatement of the millennium.

My friend, Fred Good, gave me a free, ten minute, all expenses paid train trip from Milan, Italy through the Swiss Alps, over the high Bernina Pass and on down to beautiful Zurich, Switzerland. The villages, meadows, glaciers and mountains were beautiful. Besides the food, there are few things I like about Europe better than the United States. The best of those is the European Rail System. It is far superior to the U.S. Amtrak system. It is smooth, quiet, clean and comfortable.

So, because of your willingness to read my often rambling, sometimes rude, but unequaled in volume, blog, I am sending each of you a free ticket on the same train with me for your own ten minute vacation through the Alps. RB

Because I Believe In God, His Word, And Jesus ... I Also Believe In His Endless Blessings ...

I believe ... that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I believe... that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I believe... that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance.

I believe.. that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I believe.... that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I believe... that you should always leave loved ones with loving words, it may be the last time you see them.

I believe... that you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I believe... that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

I believe... that either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I believe... that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done,

I believe... that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

I believe... that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.

I believe... that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I believe... that maturity has more to do with the experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I believe... that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others, sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I believe... that no matter how badly your heart is broken, the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I believe... that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we have become.

I believe... that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret, it could change your life forever.

I believe... two people can look at the same thing and see something totally different.

I believe... that your life can be changed in a matter of seconds by people who don't even know you.

I believe... that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

I believe... that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I believe... that the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

I believe... that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, They just make the most of everything they have.

One Bath Per Week, Eating mud pies, Using Kerosene For Medicine Built Immunity In Us Old Timers

Common Sense Commentary: In the 1930s in my boyhood town of dusty old Sweetwater, Texas, we kids took one bath per week in a washtub after Mother's bath, then the youngest sibling, then the next up to the oldest and after that Dad got the benefit of a lot of dirt, sand and soap. We lived in a house our dad built with cracks in the floor and around every door and window with lots of fresh air, cold and heat blowing through it. We all had runny noses in winter and the children used their coat sleeves as a handkerchief. We had very small meals. Oatmeal for breakfast, a Vienna sausage wrapped in biscuit dough fried for lunch and beans for dinner. Most children never saw a doctor unless it was to have tonsils or appendix removed. That was because of infected tonsils and trash in the appendix. I never hear of those problems anymore. Freezing homes in winter, sweltering in summer, little food, Iodine, salt and kerosene for medicine, lots of dirt, sand and mud, flies and mosquitoes looking for nourishment, hard lumpy beds, 0ne pair of shoes for winter only and lots of mice and roaches running free through our childhoods must be the key to adult immunity in my generation.

Here is another old geezer's observation of the good ole days of the dust bowl, the great depression and World War 2. No matter what our kids and the newer generations think about us, we must be pretty awesome and very resilient. The fact we are still alive and functioning proves it quite well. We were hard to kill and didn't break easily.  I am in my 85th year ... with lots of scars.  I don't walk, I stagger. I don't look, I squint. I don't hear, I say "what" a lot... but I'm thankful for what I got. RB

Nathan Hale's Birthday: He Was A Spy When Spying Wasn't Cool

Common Sense Commentary: Interesting how times change. In Hale's day spying was considered ungentlemanly, uncivilized and a disgrace. Today it has become exciting and one of the most beneficial and honorable means of serving one's country. Governments spy on their own allies and even their own citizens. RB

Nathan Hale, American Patriot

By Becky Aker .

His statue guards the CIA’s headquarters, though he would have abhorred the agency’s gross dishonorlies and skullduggery. He fought to live free of the state, yet public schools named after him propagandize students for big government. Nationalists credit him with the famous line, “I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country,” though he never uttered such statist words.

Saturday (6-13-15) is Nathan Hale’s 260th birthday. As an officer during the American Revolution, he boasted only a year of martial experience and none whatever in espionage, yet he volunteered to spy on the British Army. Predictably, he failed — but gloriously: Though he was only 21 years old when he hanged, he denounced government’s evil from the gallows.

Historians often dismiss Hale as bumbling and inconsequential, but his contemporaries didn’t. He seems to have been one of those magical people who charm everyone. He was Hollywood handsome, too, judging by acquaintances’ descriptions, as well as a gifted athlete: One friend remembered that he “would put his hand on a fence high as his head, and jump over it...” 1

Born to godly parents, Hale grew up on a farm in Coventry, Connecticut. His prosperous father hired the Rev. Joseph Huntington, whose brother Samuel would one day sign the Declaration of Independence, to teach his sons Greek and Latin.

Hale enrolled at Yale when he was 14; a scholar’s age mattered less than his knowledge of ancient Greece and Rome. Yale’s curriculum also emphasized the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. In fact, the school’s founders established it when Harvard strayed from orthodox Christianity. Most graduates either filled pulpits or taught
page1image15752
school.

As they did, they saturated colonial intellectual and religious life with liberty’s philosophy. Whether quoting the Lord’s admonition against the state in I Samuel or decrying Rome’s corrupt government, American preachers and teachers promulgated freedom.

Two years after Hale graduated, colonial farmers defied the British Empire’s increasing tyranny at Lexington and Concord. Hale soon joined the rebels. But America’s new Continental Army lacked funds and, therefore, rations and wages. Within a few months of enlisting, Lt. Hale had not only dipped into his own pocket when his unpaid troops threatened to desert, he’d also daringly raided a British supply ship, capturing food for the hungry Continentals.

By September 1776, the Patriots’ cause seemed doomed as the rebels tried to defend New York City’s strategic harbor. Geography favored the government with its indomitable navy. Then, too, British redcoats had just trounced the Continentals on Long Island. Though the outnumbered patriots still held Manhattan Island, the enemy would soon leap the narrow water separating the two.

Manhattan boasted about 18 miles of accessible coastline — too many for Gen. George Washington’s 10,000 men to defend.

Washington needed a spy who could discover plans for the British beachhead. The mission was horribly dangerous; worse, espionage in the 18th century was as shameful as pedophilia is today. One of Hale’s friends explained why: “...who respects the character of a spy, assuming the garb of friendship but to betray? ... let us...not stain our honour by the sacrifice of integrity.”2

No wonder Capt. Hale was the only volunteer when Washington solicited his appalled officers for a spy.

Such commitment amazes: from Hale’s perspective, the government would probably win the war. Not only had redcoats recently pulverized the Continentals in battle, they were now chasing the remnants, much as a regiment of the U.S. Army would mop up
the survivors of defiant militia. Why risk your life on a cause so entirely lost?

We know little of Hale’s time behind the redcoats’ lines. No doubt his intellect and charisma helped him discover their every secret.

But as he was returning to hand those secrets to the Continental command, someone recognized and betrayed him. Rulers urged, “If you see something, say something” then, too.

Rebels, especially spies, deserved summary execution. British Gen. William Howe duly sentenced Hale to hang the next morning, a Sunday, Sept. 22, 1776 at 11 a.m.

The victim could never have guessed that reports of his heroism would escape the few spectators watching him die. Most were British soldiers, some probably bored, others hostile. No matter. He delivered what one newspaper called a “sensible and spirited speech,”urging his audience “to be at all times prepared to meet death in whatever shape it might appear,” according to a British lieutenant.4

Then came Hale’s fearless finale.

The version we know originated with Gen. William Hull, one of Hale’s college chums. As an old man, Hull wrote an account of Hale’s execution, based on testimony he heard from an eyewitness, British Capt. John Montresor. Coincidentally, Montresor had visited American lines under a flag of truce soon after the execution on unrelated business; Hull met with him. Montresor “seemed touched by the circumstances”of Hale’s death, especially his last words, and related them to Hull. The elderly Hull remembered those words as “I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country.”6

But just five years after Hale hanged, the Boston Chronicle published an unsigned article. Hull seems the likeliest author.

Therein he quoted Hale’s conclusion as “I am so satisfied with the cause in which I have engaged, that my only regret is that I have not more lives than one to offer in its service.”7

Hull’s later, succinct edit packs more punch, but it also anachronistically changes

And patriots typically spoke of “the cause” of liberty rather than their “country.”

Hale gave his life for liberty, as dramatically as any fictional hero — which is why I wrote a novel about him! You can read of his inspiring death, his even more inspiring life and the agonizing choice he must make between his sweetheart and his honor in “Halestorm.” Hurry: The Kindle version is now only $1.50 — half off the usual price of $2.99 — for readers of Personal Liberty DigestTM!
