Fear Of Muslims Motivates AP To Dump 26 Year Double Standard

Common Sense Commentary: It is so revealing of the Associated Press that it took fear of Muslims to motivate them to remove, from their portfolio, an artwork of Christ on a crucifix, in a jar of the artists urine, of which they sold prints. Christians have complained about it for 26 years, but 26 years of offending God, Christ and Christians, with AP's abomination, did not move them to remove it from their site. Why? Obviously because they have no fear of God, of Christ or of Christians boycotting them or attacking them. They knew, of course, that Christians wouldn't bomb, shoot, burn or even insult them and they also knew that Muslims would do any or all of those things to them if they whispered one negative syllable about Mohammad. So they forgot all about their jar of urine with image of Christ in it, and told the world how that their policy was, "not to use offensive pictures or cartoons or articles which insult Muslims", like those dumb French, news-service people did, and twelve of them got murdered by Muslims because of it.  So AP  forgot all about 26 years of insulting Christ and Christians .... until a Christian spoke up and called their hand on the contradiction. So to keep from looking like inconsistent, Liberal morons, and a bunch of double dealing, Christ hating heroes, spieling out their high standards, they quickly hid their prized jar of urine and pretended it never happened. I guess we have the Muslim terrorists to thank for that? Stranger than fiction. RB

According to what I could find during my two-minute Internet research session, the above saying is an old English proverb first attributed to Sir John Hayward in 1546. But the sentiments expressed could easily be applied to President Barak Obama and many other political leaders, as well as media commentators, when it comes to what some refer to as "radical Islam," which is an extremely oppressive and violent version of one of the world's largest religions. Enough Muslims subscribe to it that they are wreaking havoc around the world. What happened in Paris on Wednesday was the latest example with 12 people murdered. They worked at a newspaper that was known for taking satirical shots at religion and religious figures, including making fun of Islam.

How would you characterize the treatment of radical Islam by liberal politicians and media pundits? Genuinely don't know the truth Personally don't like or believe the truth Purposely ignore the truth Vote View Results What happened on 9/11, in Boston, at Fort Hood – and in recent weeks in Canada, in Australia, and now in France – is called jihad. It is a teaching within Islam that says Muslims are commanded by Allah to engage in violence against the "infidel." It is very plain to read in the Koran. The jihadists, as was the case in Paris, are proud of their actions. They will tell the world straight up why they are doing what they are doing. Yet political leaders and many in the media who subscribe to political correctness continue to "ignore what they already know."

It would be like a judge asking a bank robber why he robbed the bank, and the robber saying to the judge: "I robbed the bank for money." And then the judge looks back and him and says: "No, seriously. Did you have a bad childhood? Tell me the real reason you robbed the bank..."

Now if you are going to engage in mocking Islam publicly, as this newspaper did, you need to be prepared to live in fear of being killed by those who believe it pleases Allah to defend their religion. Most major media outlets around the world have conceded this reality and decided to stick with mocking Jesus Christ and Christianity instead – a tactic much, much safer physically and certainly more acceptable within Western intellectual circles. Christians write letters and call you on the phone when they are offended. At worst, they might boycott your publication. Muslims, like the ones in Paris, bomb your building or cut off your head.

One of the largest news agencies in the world, the BBC, said they intentionally practice a double-standard when it comes to Islam and Christianity. BBC director-general Mark Thompson* said Christianity is treated with far less sensitivity at his company than other religions because it is "pretty broad shouldered."

Translation: Christians can take it, Muslims can't. So we leave them alone.

Many verses in the Koran instruct Muslims to commit acts of violence against non-Muslims in order to please Allah. This is why these people do what they do. They are not "crazy" in the sense that they have a mental illness. They are perfectly functional, intelligent individuals. They just believe the Koran when it promises that Muslims who fight for Allah (literally) here on earth will be rewarded by Allah.

Why the politically correct crowd will not acknowledge the obvious is really bizarre, especially since most PC subscribers are highly educated people. And everyone knows that all Muslims are not terrorists. But everyone also knows that almost all acts of terrorism today are committed by practicing Muslims. This practice of pretending you don't know (or perhaps not wanting to know) from where these jihadists get their motivation and ideology is really quite foolish and silly.

Use Your Talent Gifts For Good Or You Will Either Lose It, Misuse It Or Abuse It

Common Sense Commentary: An unused arm becomes atrophied and worse than useless. It becomes a hindrance, a liability, an offence. Its owner would be better off if it were gone, removed and buried. God is our owner.

A God given talent gift, if not invested for the Lord, has the potential for an equal but opposite form of misuse and abuse. The gift of music, if not used for God's glory, can become used for obscene music or worldly glory. Kindness can become cruelty, the unused gift of teaching truth can become teaching error. The unused gift of giving can become greed or stealing. The gift of exhortation (encouraging, motivating), if unused, can become habitual criticism. "He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings...." 1 Tim. 6:4. I suspect this is the reason some people seem always to have something negative and destructive to say about almost everyone, especially those who are most spiritual, upstanding, people of integrity and even those more successful than they. A case in point ... A crowd of unbelievers accused Jesus of being "devil possessed" (John 10:20) and another time accused Him of being a "gluttonous drunkard" (Matt.11:19). Jesus did absolutely nothing to cause them to say such things about Him. He was totally without sin .. of any kind (Heb.4:15). Why would these people, mostly very religious, cast aspersions upon the very Son of God? Because He contradicted their dead faith by His living faith. Because He challenged their religious hypocrisy. He was pure and they were not. He was kind and they were cruel. He had peace and they had fear. He had faith and they had doubt. So they called him names and hated Him.    

Similarly, the Apostle Paul was accused, in court, by the king, of being insane (Acts 26:24). Why would King Agrippa accuse Paul of being "mad"? Because Paul had a faith, a vibrancy, a certainty, a fearlessness, a peace that even the King did not have, and it scared him that Paul might be right.

Roman Emperor Nero accused the Christians in Rome of burning down the city, which, of course, they did not. But why did he blame the Christians for something he himself did? Because he hated them. So why did he hate Christians? Because they had something he did not have ... faith, hope, peace and love. If you do not use your talent gift for good, you may lose it or misuse it. Use your talents and gifts for God's glory which simply means .... live for Him.

Why Is Tiny Israel So Important And Constantly In The News

One of the most mysterious questions in the minds of people around the world is, "Why is the tiny nation of Israel always in the news, constantly being fought over, more hated by more human beings than any other nation and more controversial than any other? Israel is 263 miles long, an average of about 60 miles wide, smaller than New Jersey by 700 square miles and one of the smallest countries in the world. Why then is it so important and the founding ground, the cradle of the world's three monotheistic faiths, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and several lesser religions?

I feel certain that the first reason it is the epicenter of conflict in the world, and so important, is because the God of the universe chose this land as the homeland of His chosen people, the Jews. It was through the Jews that God chose and sent his prophets and Apostles, sent His word to the world, and through whom He gave His "Only begotten Son", the Jewish Messiah, Jesus Christ. Both Old and New Testaments came out of that Holy Land. Israel is the only country in the world specifically given, by God, to a nationality of people .... the Jews. Gen.12:7, 13:14-15, 15:7, 17:8, and Exodus 50:24.

A second reason Israel is so important in the world, is that it has always been a land bridge and access highway between the adjoining Continents of Europe, Asia and Africa. Merchant caravans, pilgrims, immigrants and innumerable armies have marched to and through that land throughout human history.

A third reason is surely the fact that Israel has, because of its geographical position as a land bridge between Continents, also been a battleground between opposing armies of empires. The great armies of history's Generals such as Alexander the Great and Napoleon have marched into battle there. The Empires of the Assyrians, Babylonians, Medo-Persians, Grecians and Romans have shed their blood and the blood of their enemies there. Both God and Satan know that the Kingdom of Anti-Christ will be headquartered there and that more rivers of blood will be shed there. The final battle of Armageddon will be fought there. And, most importantly, Jesus Christ will establish the throne of His Millennial Kingdom there for a thousand year. No wonder the devil is right in the middle of the middle east, surrounding Israel, stirring up trouble since the very beginning of the Jewish people and the Jewish nation.

Israel is like a rather small theatrical stage, a microcosm of world conflict, playing out, in representative form, the Battle Of The Ages between good and evil, God and the devil. Israel is the young boy David fighting the huge, giant Goliath. A small sling and stone against a monstrosity of a man with a sword in his hand and a vast army backing him up. They are today surrounded by nearly a billion Muslim enemies constantly threatening their extermination.

Israel must be observed and judged from a Biblical, historical, geographical and deity conscious viewpoint rather than a racial or political or public opinion viewpoint. It is totally impossible to understand the nearly 4000 year history of Israel without considering the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Bible is the only true textbook in understanding what Israel is all about, its conflicts, its importance, and its destiny. RB

Here Is Proof Of The Injustice Done To The "Gentle Giant"

Common Sense Commentary: His mother said he was "a good boy". Half the country swore he was killed because of his race. The News Media portrayed him as "The Gentle Giant", an innocent teenager and printed pictures of him at a much younger age. The policeman who shot him was made to be the villain, a racist, an out of control cop. A national uproar was the result and still rages on after months. Now, we see the truth about this innocent child who wouldn't think of attacking a policeman. Turn off your speaker ... the language is bad ... if you can understand any of this getto language at all. You say I am unsympathetic.  I feel deeply for this poor old black gentleman who lost his wallet, his backpack and nearly his life. I have great sympathy for the officer who lost his job, career and lives in fear today. How do half the people in a country get so callous, mentally deranged and utterly wicked? Why didn't this old black gentleman come forward? He didn't have the video. Who would believe him? Would you come forward if you lived in this neighborhood with no money no other place to go and in fear of your life?

My Last, Best And Only Hope

Common Sense Commentary: I enter this 85th year of life with HOPE. The difference in Hope and Faith is this: "So then faith cometh by ... hearing the word of God." Rom.10:17. Faith is the fruit of  "the word of God", and Hope is the fruit of Faith. "By (Jesus) we have access by faith into this grace ... wherein we ... rejoice in hope." Rom.5:4.

The fruit of the word of God is Faith. The fruit of Faith is Hope and the fruit of Hope is Love.   
"And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." 1 Cor.13:13. The reason the greatest of these is "love" is that the fruit of faith is hope and the fruit of hope is love. So "love" is the end result of both faith and hope. It is the one perfect attribute possible in people.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear...." 1 John 4:18


"For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. " Gal. 5:5. Hope is the fruit of Faith. "...Lord Jesus Christ, ... is our hope" 1 Tim.1:1. 

Faith brings Christ into us and He is our Hope "...Christ in you, the hope of glory." Col.1:27. 

The fruit of faith is hope and hope is "expectation"."...my earnest expectation and ... hope...." Phil. 1:20

The word "hope" in the Old and New Testaments is translated from several Hebrew and Greek words meaning Refuge, Confidence, Expectation ... and Waiting patiently. 


So, my last, best and only hope is this....

When all else is gone, my health has all drained out and my life is at its end, my last thought, my last prayer, my last hope is .... Jesus.

When family prayers for me can not delay my death, medical remedies can only relieve my pain and endless wealth is useless, my last hope is also my best hope .... It is Jesus.

When all my years of life and all my Earthly hopes and dreams, accomplishments, successes and failures are past, my last and best hope is my only hope .... It is Jesus .... my eternal Lord and Savior.
