If God didn't create us, in His own image, then the Bible isn't true.
If God didn't create us, and breathe life into us, then we have no spirit.
If God didn't create us, and we have no spirit, then we have no soul.
If God didn't create us, and we have no soul, we are evolved animals.
If God didn't create us, and the Bible isn't true, and we are all animals, there is no heaven, death is a dark dead end. Even if there were no heaven, there is still a hell in the core of the earth, and every star you can see is a ball of liquid, molten fire, larger than our sun, which is a million times larger than Earth.
If we are simply another species of animal, without a soul and there is no God, there is no compelling reason not to act like animals, without a conscience, spirit or soul. And as an animal, steal from the other animals, fight for food, kill each other, devour one another, rape, murder and cannibalize without guilt, judgment, punishment or eternal life.
If God didn't create us, then life itself would be a living hell in a world full of larger, prehistoric, carnivorous animals constantly tracking us down for their next meal.
If God didn't create us, there is no truth, no love, no forgiveness ... no nothing.
If God didn't create us, nothing else in the universe makes any sense and nothing else matters.
But He did create us, gave us ability and purpose... and holds us accountable the use of our life, our time, our abilities for His purposes and for His glory. RB
