With Perfect Words And Assumed Knowledge Satan

Called God a liar ... Genesis 3:1-4

The newly revealed facts of Scientific Genetics have traced our human DNA back to its origins and a gigantic surprise ... an original pair of human beings. So, instead of dumping evolution and embracing the scientific harmony of the Genesis record of Creation, they simply stir into the evolutionary recipe a tablespoon of Genesis One with experienced finesse and a nervous smile.  Then, without a wink or nod, they taste the brew and announce ... "No harm done".  So we are still, at our roots, 98% animal and 2% uniquely human via GAE ("Genealogical Adam and Eve").  As quick and easy as it is for error to make adjustments to fit unavoidable truth, it is life-threateningly dangerous to adjust the truth to fit error.  That is not to say it is never right to correct our understanding of the truth. No one is in possession of the whole truth, of everything, including Scripture.   But we had better be correct on the fundamentals. RB

Here are two paragraphs from an article in FOX News entitled:

Christians point to Genetics breakthroughs to show Adam and Eve are not incompatible with evolution

Michael Murray, a Christian philosophy professor at Franklin and Marshall College, recently said at an evangelical conference that due to the work of Swamidass, Craig, and others, "we have arrived at the point where we can confidently affirm that the basic evolutionary story is not the threat to Christian orthodoxy that we once feared, and not because we had to compromise on orthodoxy."

"My view is that recent findings in genetics and paleontology have shown that our best scientific theories and data do not rule out a historical Adam and Eve," Murray told Fox News Digital. He said the developments do not make Adam and Eve more or less likely, but they do show that "for all we know, there might have been a pair that is the ancestor of all extant humans or extant Homo sapiens."
