Common Sense Commentary: THE TRUTH OF GOD is EXTREME. To make THE TRUTH OF GOD moderate is a lie. To make THE TRUTH OF GOD a lie is to condemn yourself to eternal separation from God.
Rom.1:16 " I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ ....
V.17 "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed ....
V.18 "The wrath of God is revealed ... against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, WHO HOLD THE TRUTH IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS ....
V19 "Because that which MAY BE KNOWN of GOD is MANIFEST IN THEM; FOR GOD HATH SHOWED IT UNTO THEM.
V.20 These things "ARE CLEARLY SEEN... so that they are WITHOUT EXCUSE....
V.21 "BECAUSE .... WHEN THEY KNEW GOD, they glorified him not AS GOD, neither were thankful; but became vain in their IMAGINATIONS, and their foolish heart was darkened.
V.22 "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools....
V.23 (Paraphrased) and CHANGED the glory of ...God into ... depraved idols such as evolution and sexual perversion ...
V.24 "Wherefore God ... gave them up....
V.25 "WHO CHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE....
V.26 "For this cause God gave them up unto VILE AFFECTIONS ... even lesbianism....(women with women ....
V.27 and homosexuality .... men with men.
V.28 (Paraphrased) To reject the truth of God which YOU KNOW to be the truth ....
V.29-31 .... leads to every kind of vile depravity, un-natural affection and willful error.
V.32 "Who KNOWING ".... these things are hated of God, "not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."
