When your marriage rips itself apart,
And your home becomes your house

When pain takes love's place in your heart,
And your Darling becomes your spouse

When you hope and pray for a new start,
But you see no possible way

When your life's work turns to ashes,
And those you love most turn away

When your good health fails and crashes,
And your savings turn to dust

You can still turn by faith to Jesus,
And turn to Him you must

For there is no blessed hope but Jesus,
And there is no lasting trust.
