Vetting John McCain, Considering His Friends/Enemies

There Are More One Worlders Than Admit it

When someone is dying ... is a time to pray for them ... not vent your disagreements with them. The best thing John McCain ever did was serve his country in a time of war... and he paid a heavy price for it in a Vietnamese prison. But that 3 years of great suffering also bought him the high honor of being elected a U.S. senator for the rest of his life.  So, how well he did that job is what will mark his place in history more than his time as a prisoner of war. There are no "moral" or "achievment" requirements to be a prisoner of war. There have been prisoners of war who were evil and upright, cowards and heroes, traitors and patriots.

While I will not speak evil of the dying, I will pray for his painless passing and his family's comfort at their loss, and leave his final judgement up to God and his efficacy as a U.S. senator up to the American people.  To that end I reprint this bottom line excerpt of his life as published by FOX News on this Lord's Day, Sunday, May 6, 2018.

John McCain, who has been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer for more than a year, doesn’t want President Trump to attend his funeral ... according to a New York Times report. In addition, former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama have been asked to deliver eulogies at McCain's funeral, sources close to both former presidents and McCain told CNN.

The Arizona senator ...voted against the repeal of ObamaCare in July, singlehandedly scuttling one of the Trump administration's major policy goals, a move that provoked the ire of Trump but earned him a thank you call from Obama.
