Democrats Often Complain, "The Rich And Business Need To 'Pay Their Fair Share'"

That is either the height of hypocrisy,  lowness of lying, or both.

Businesses and the wealthy:
Their taxes already support the whole country.
If we could drain the D.C. swamp of the 12% of
fraud and waste, present taxes on the rich and
Businesses would pay the entire cost of Gov.

 Business Taxes:
Businesses don't pay taxes, they simply act as the middle man, get their tax bill from the government, raise their prices by that much and pass it on to their customers. Most of them aren't making enough profit to eat those high taxes and stay in business so they have to raise their prices to pay them. You customers pay their taxes in the form of higher prices. Most businesses have no choice.

Example:
The taxes and other fees on retail gasoline and
diesel fuel, in cents per gallon, as of August 1, 2018:
GasolineDiesel
Federal18.4024.40
Average of total state taxes28.6230.21
The average price of gasoline in the US is, at the moment, $2.57 per gallon. So the fuel companies find it, lease or buy the land, drill it, pipe it, refine it, and transport it for about $2.00 a gallon. About the price of milk. The government does nothing but tax it. At $2.00 Exxon normally makes about 5 to 6% profit on its investment. I think they pay their "fair share" ... but that's due to compitition ....not our tax crazed, free spending politicians. It is compitition that keeps prices fair, not belly aching DINOs (Democrats) or RINOs (Establishment Republicans) or WHINOs (Tax em to death boosters who pay no taxes themselves).

Taxing The Rich:
The top 20% of households already pay 88.1% of Federal Income Taxes and right at 70% of all Federal taxes. How fair is that? I am not rich or in business, but I can see the eventual outcome of "tax punishing" the financially successful for paying the price required to build a business or become wealthy by hard work and long hours, is not good for a free country. Most of those leaving this country for other, more "fair" countries, where they can enjoy the fruit of their labors, are among that top 20% who are already paying 88% of Income Taxes.

Besides the injustice of such tax laws, when we tax the wealthy so heavily, we destroy the incentive of everyone to build a business and create jobs or put in the effort to become wealthy. Another resulting negative is that these productive people can no longer compete in foreign trade where taxes are lower than in the U.S.  So they are driven to move overseas, sell out or go bankrupt. They are litterally taxed out of America.

A large part of the problem is jealousy toward those who have more and appear to be smarter or somehow better than the rest of us. Most of that breed, seemingly a majority, grow to dislike or even hate rich people. Most Left-Wingers fit the description....

Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) recently proposed a 70 % top federal income tax rate. This would nearly double the top tax bracket, which is presently 37 %.

According to the Congressional Budget Office:

The top 1% of all households pay 39.4 % of all Federal Income taxes and 26.2 % of the total of all Federal taxes paid, including such things as gasoline etc.

The top 20% (includes the top 1%) of all households pay 88.1% of all Federal Income taxes and 69.5% of all those other Federal taxes.

This means that all the rest of us, 80%, pay the other 11.9% of Federal Income taxes and more than half of those pay nothing.

These figures do not include State sales taxes which average 6% across the 50 states. Neither does it include State Income taxes.  RB

So it is not the average tax payers, businesses and wealthy who are destroying our country but the Left-Wing Politicians, their co-conspirators the News Media, the Federal Reserve banksters and their brain washed, ignorant, free stuff supporters.

There you have it.... The real fiscal problems in the USA.
I may be off a click or two here and there but still on target.  RB
