Tribute To M.L. King's Marvelous, Christian Niece

Here is one of the most honest, courageous women in America, Dr. Alveda King. Alveda has all the signs of a true Christian. Her commitment to the President is based on his solid stand on the issues, not on his moral values. She recognizes the right side of the issues, as do all true Christians, because she is one.  What  may be political or even moral issues with the President, are Christian, issues with Alveda. She is a kind and gentle woman who appears to pay no mind to the opposition she undoubtedly gets, for her solid stand and spiritual convictions, from the side-lines all around her.
Such honesty, faith, and courage deserve recognition. RB

Alveda King: Donald Trump is compassionate, brilliant man

Fox News contributor Alveda King, the niece of slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., called President Trump a “compassionate” and “brilliant” man who cares about the civil rights of all Americans, including the unborn.
Ms. Kingappearing on “Fox & Friends” Sunday, defended Mr. Trump against recent comments by Democratic Rep. John Lewis, who alleged that the president is “uncaring” and “knows very, very little” about the Civil Rights Movement.
Ms. King said Mr. Trump was very knowledgeable about black history during their visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture in February, and that the president has surrounded himself with many knowledgeable black leaders in order to keep the country on the right track.
“The president, of course, is leading the charge for civil rights today for the little unborn persons in the womb who have a right to live,” Ms. King, who directs the anti-abortion group Civil Rights for the Unborn, told Fox News. “We don’t have to defend the president. I believe, and President Trump might agree, that we are defending America. He’s leading the charge, and we are supporting him.”
Trump himself is a brilliant man. I believe he’s compassionate,” she said. “If you go and look at all of the executive orders, the things for women and science, for African American education, for moving into our communities with Dr. Ben Carson at HUD — there are so many things that he’s doing and he’s working with African American leaders.”
Ms. King later added, “Everybody in America needs to do homework and stop playing the race card.”

My Comment: Those cautious words, totally true but few, are powerful. This fine lady is a thinking, sensitive Christian who lives and shares her faith. God keep her safe and healthy. RB
