Now lay all at Jesus' feet...Then go change the world.
No man is invincible, though a few think they are and fewer still are at its door. All of the latter have paid a painful price in their personal crucible of fire. These fewer few have this in common. They have been through some kind of hell on earth and have come out of the flames, the loss, and the pain with deep scars. But this most agonizing thing that ever happened to them turned out be the thing that set their course for good success for the rest of their lives.
Their fears, endurance and faith had been stretched to the breaking point and all their earthly hopes and dreams were left in the ashes of their valley of fire .... where they traded it to God for survival. Purged, yet what is left of them, though burned thin... is stronger than tempered steel... Yet... still human ... flesh, blood and bone. Their strength and weakness left to the purpose and plan of God ... and they go out and change the world. But they refuse the acclaim because they know it was God who got them through what killed off the many. And they say, aloud or in breath, a whisper ... as did David ... "unto thy name give glory". Psalms 115:1
