Have The Parasites Outgrown Their Host ?

Are these Democrat Governors and Mayors
Cowards, Communists or Parasite Managers ?

Someone once asked me if there were any termites on the Ark. I Assume there were, or maybe they survived on floating wood. But I doubt that God created parasites for the purpose of plaguing people.
Before the curse of sin came, they may have had a more pleasant purpose which changed under the curse of sin, as did everything else, like pain with giving birth and toiling for every bite of food.
Neither did God create Lucifer as a dark and disloyal, renegade, insurgent, but as a beautiful, Archangel with a free-will.  Even so, Adam and Eve were created in the image and likeness of their Creator and as innocent humans, but also with a free-will. So it is with all the vile, wicked, sinners who lie, cheat, plunder, rape, burn, blaspheme and hate God and His children. Though they themselves are not yet perfect either ... because of the sinful nature of all humanity.  Howbeit, some free-willed people choose to become self absorbed, greedy takers of other peoples' property, usurpers, looters, attackers and burners. God did not make them so, they made themselves so, as did Lucifer, by choice. Some may repent and believe on Christ and be saved, but some never will, whose conscience is seared and they have sinned away the day of grace. These, who deny God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit, have become human parasites in spite of God's love and desire to save them. Some people will live through life, ever more wicked, contribute nothing and consume much from society .... then die and have to give an account to God for sucking survival from others, and bad choices. The worst of those being rejection of Jesus Christ.
This from Smithsonian Magazine:

The Enduring Romance of Mistletoe,

a Parasite Named After Bird Poop

An arrow of death sent by the gods? A plague on entire forests? A little investigation reveals that mistletoe has quite a sordid story indeed—so where did all this business about Christmas and kissing come from?
Mistletoe is definitely not your typical shrub—it’s a parasite that attacks living trees. Technically, mistletoes—there are over 1,000 species found throughout the world to which botanists ascribe the name—are actually hemi-parasites. This means they obtain a portion of their energy through photosynthesis, and the rest is extracted from other plants. Mistletoe species ... plant themselves on hosts ranging from pine trees to cacti, but the species most commonly associated with European-based mistletoe mythologies (like kissing beneath it on Christmas) are typically found on large deciduous trees, like oaks.
Does mistletoe kill its hosts? It can, eventually. The plant sends its tiny roots into the bark’s cambium layer, where it siphons off water and nutrients, slowly weakening the tree. A mature tree can withstand a small amount of mistletoe with no problem, but if it spreads profusely the tree will eventually die, one limb at a time, as the life is literally sucked out of it. (That summary of a parasite from Smithsonian Magazine)
Final Common Sense Comment:
Besides mistletoe, other varieties of nutrient robbing  and blood sucking parasites are fleas, fungus, and lice.
I once saw a formerly healthy dog get the mange, which its owner ignored. In time that dog, now covered with fleas too, died. Though the flees and mange remained on the dog briefly, the mange died and the fleas left and became thick on the sandy ground and plagued the owners family until he sprayed them with gasoline which also killed his sparse grass and endangered his house and family.
There's an old saying, "Nip it in the bud lest it become a flood and leaves you in the mud".  Forgive my expansion of that old adage, I just added the rest of the story.

A bit of adage advice to Seattle, New York, Detroit, Baltimore, Los Angeles, Chicago, Minneapolis, Saint Louis and San Francisco. "A stitch in time saves nine ... but neglect early stitches and you will lose your britches. RB
