"Multitudes... in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision" Joel 3:14

Common Sense Commentary: "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow ...." Isa. 1:18

Let me first point out the oddity of false and contradictory testimony. Many people, for their own reasons, believe a thing is wrong but say they think it is OK. They may also believe a thing is true but swear it is false. Be that as it may, it is wrong in secular matters but also eternally dangerous in spiritual matters. We dare not lie where people's souls or the word of God are involved.

If you give up "creation" in favor of evolution, you give up the first chapters of Genesis. If you give that up, you have no certainty the rest of Genesis or the rest of the Old Testament are true either. To give up the Old Testament is to give up Christ because He quoted the Old Testament often, as true, and so did His Apostles and disciples who penned the New Testament: So your unbelief calls into question their belief, honesty and everything they recorded as God gave it to and through them. To do that is to give up any faith in the New Testament and any hope of salvation unless you exchange your denial for faith, because 2 Tim.3:16 says that "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness ...."

If you find it impossible to believe Christ arose from the dead, it follows that you cannot believe that either you or anyone else shall arise from the dead either. Without acceptance of Christ and his resurrection, you are without hope of eternal life. "And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised. And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins."  1 Cor. 15:14-17.

If you believe that the willful killing of a baby, in or out of the womb, is acceptable to your god, and therefore to you, you deny Genesis 9:5-6, Ex.20:13, Deut.5:17, Psm.139:15-17, Matt.5:21, Rom.13:9 and many other verses of Scripture, and have no sure faith in the rest of the Bible. If you found one rotten chunk of meat in a bowl of stew, you would throw out the entire bowl. If one verse in the Bible were a lie the entire Bible would be unreliable.

If you deny the above verses, you have no true faith in anything else the Bible says because if there is any verse which is not true, maybe it is all untrue and the very foundation of faith is neutralized to you. You either believe it all or you cannot truly believe any of it, because ..."So then faith cometh by hearing ... the word of God." Rom.10:17. Where there is no faith in the word of God, there is no faith in God.

If you believe homosexuality is OK, you deny both the Old and New Testaments and cannot, therefore, have true faith in a flawed Bible which, then, cannot be God's word because the Bible clearly says it is wrong and an abomination. Gen.19:1-13, Lev.18:21-22, Lev.20:13, Judges 19:22, Rom.1:24-28. If you can read those verses and still believe homosexuality is OK, you do not believe God's word and cannot now be a Christian. Repent, believe all of God's word and accept Christ as your Savior. That is your only hope. RB

You might say you do not like what I say, or the verses I quote, or the way I put it. Well, I'm not too fond of having to quote those verses to my readers either, but I must not, cannot, had better not reject preaching and teaching the entire "counsel of God" .... all of His word, the entire Holy Bible. RB
"For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God." Acts 20:27.

No wonder the old phrase: "The Truth Hurts".
The Truth also saves.
The Truth is pure.
The Truth is just.
The Truth is forever.
John 14:6
