Gaffes, Goofs, Gall and My Muslim Faith

Common Sense Commentary: "But the tongue can no man tame...."James 3:8
B.O. -"We're not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money. But, you know, part of the American way is, you know, you can just keep on making it if you're providing a good product or providing good service. We don't want people to stop, ah, fulfilling the core responsibilities of the financial system to help grow our economy." - on Wall Street reform, Quincy, Ill., April 29, 2010 [Editor: Huh?]
R.B. - And, exactly how much is enough Mr Multi-millionaire who spends every body's money but your own and will retire after four years with a lifetime  indulgent salary and  sumptuous benefits worth many millions more of taxpayer's money. Notice he said "at a certain point you've made enough money"  not we've , you've!  Everything after that is down hill, trying to cover, bury deep, under shovels full of words that, dyed in the wool, Socialistic Ideology ... Take from the producers and Support the sluggards ...who have more votes. It is burned with a branding iron on the soul of every Socialist who ever worshiped at the shrine of "Share every body's wealth, forcefully, but their own". Note the sumptuous lifestyles of the Axis dictators in WW.II (all Socialists), and that of all the Socialistic  and Communistic (Socialism plus Atheism) tyrants which  have destroyed  all  their countries, as ours have destroyed America. Our well was full but their buckets were full of holes and the well is dry. And while I'm here, let me say that Wall Street needs a full blown housecleaning .... but Washington Bureaucracy and Government needs far more than a housecleaning.  Every crack and corner of our rotten government needs a total overhaul or else a revolution to restore our Constitution as Law, equally, for President and Peasant (ME). That was our forefather's and founder's God given plan.
 B.O.
"The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries." - Tampa, FL, January 28, 2010
R.B. - One statement of absolute truth though awkward. But tell us the rest of the story, Mr. President.  It's found in Genesis.  Abram (Abraham) and Sarai had no children. Sarai said, " Have one with my maid, Hagar". They named him Ishmael.  In her pride, Hagar despised Sarai. Then Sarai had a son, Isaac. Ishmael was the first of the ArabsIsaac was the first of the Jews.  God foretold Abraham that trouble and war would be between the two and between all the Arabs against each other and the rest of the world. "And (Ishmael) shall be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." Gen.16:12.  "And I will give unto thee (Abraham), and to thy seed after thee ... the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; And I will be their God." Gen.17:8.  That is "the God of  Abraham, Isaac and Jacob" not Mohammad or his concept of God.  To hell, literally, with political correctness.  The truth is the truth.  Islam wasn't founded until about 600 years after Christ and 2500 years after Abraham. God says many times that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

B.O. - "UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems." - attempting to make the case for government-run healthcare, while simultaneously undercutting his own argument, Portsmouth, NH, August 11, 2009
R.B. - Again, absolute truth slipped off his untamed tongue to destroy his own case for Obamacare. "Let them be confounded ... let them be ...brought to confusion...." Psm.35:4.

B.O.. - "Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions." - exasperated by reporters after a news conference, March 4, 2008.
R.B. - As with "making money", Mr. President, do you "think at a certain point you've made enough words?"  Should those eight questions be trimmed back or maybe taxed into silence?

B.O. - "You're likable enough, Hillary." - during a Democratic debate, Manchester, NH, January 2007
R.B. - Hey, that "likable enough" stuff  goes two ways but the polls are all going one way... Down.

B.O. - "What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith..." - in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, who jumped in to correct Obama by saying "your Christian faith," which Obama quickly agreed to,  ---- September 2008
R.B. - Come on now, how many Christians do you know who would slip and say, "My Muslim faith"? In sixty years of ministry, I've never heard a Baptist slip and say, "My Muslim faith, My Catholic faith, My Methodist faith, My Charismatic faith.  Nor have I ever heard any of these slip and say, "My Baptist faith", much less, "MY MUSLIM FAITH".  Can you even imagine a Muslim slipping and saying to the Mullah, "My Christian faith"?????????  Maybe, as in the slips of the "untamed tongue" speaking truth in the above incidents, he was telling the truth again, in spite of himself.

B.O. - "In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed." -----  on a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people, May 2007
R.B. - That one throws me for the count. Nobody tells one that big. I need a different doctorate degree to explain that one.  Maybe the  teleprompter magnification was on max.
B.O. - at a campaign event in Beaverton, Oregon, May 2008.
R.B. - Spoken in all sincerity and truth ... but geography, historically and numerically too far off to be a slip of the tongue.  I think Harvard must  teach that because any third grade student in the U.S. knows how many states and stars are in our flag.  But the flag is another problem with many Liberals, isn't it. You say its not true.  Compare a "Tea Party" Rally with the "Occupy" Rally in New York. Conservative vs. Liberal.
Plain old folks like me with a thousand flags at the Tea Party Rally and Idiots with painted faces and nasty signs, stealing from each other and selling dope, at the other.

O.B. "On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes - and I see many of them in the audience here today - our sense of patriotism is particularly strong." ----- Memorial Day speech in Las Cruces, NM, May 26, 2008
R.B. - Now that is an honest to goodness slip of the tongue or a teleprompter typo.

Pass it on. RB
