Semantics Of Liberal Socialism

Common Sense Commentary:

Rule One of Financial Intelligence, Wisdom and Responsibility: Spend less than you take in.

Rule One of Adolescent Adulthood: Spend all you take in on fun and stuff and borrow for bills.

Rule One of Liberal Socialism: Spend as much as necessary to force equality among the masses...
Except us Civil Servants.

When God instituted Civil Government in Genesis 9:5-6, He chose the lesser of two evils. Knowing the sinful nature of the entire human race, since the fall of the first two people into the sin of disobedience, He could leave them in anarchy, without civil laws and government which would insure complete chaos, uncontrolled plunder, rape, enslavement and murder or; He could establish Civil Law ... administered  by these same sinful humans.  Civil Order, in a flawed, imperfect degree, was obviously more beneficial to people and more acceptable to God than the alternative. So, He gave us one very big Civil Law .... "Life for a Life, Blood for blood, eye for an eye, tooth for tooth", and gave the authority, not to individuals but to society, in union, to enforce. This, of course led to organized societies, clans, tribes, areas, then state, national and now, World Law.  Later, He gave more specificity in the Ten Commandments Of Law.  Never read the Ten Commandments chapter without reading the chapter following it.  All other laws, honestly legislated for the good of society, are based on those Ten Commandments as they are based on the original One, Life for Life.

So, we elect who we think are the best sinners among us to Legislate, Judge and Execute the laws that are supposed to help and protect us ... which they seldom do, as intended.  Since God said, "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked ...." Jer.17:9, therefore, whoever we elect fits that description.  The best we can hope and pray for are truly born again, wise Christian men and women .  But, then, they can't get elected because most of the voters are partial to promiscuity, cussin, drinkin, smokin pot, free stuff and Socialism under the guise of "Equality".  Socialism's purpose of compulsively homogenizing the whole human race, like a Mississippi flood, and bringing everyone to the same level of muddy water poverty, is fantacy.  That river bottom level of Socialism is even lower than pre-Socialism's level back in the bayou, and leads to financial and national ruin for everyone. Liberal Socialism wants perfection from imperfect laws and imperfect people in an imperfect world.  They want safety without guns, free gov. money without limits, marriage to the animal  of their choice, mercy for the guilty they relate to, and abortion to the innocent they do not relate to.

We are like Israel and King Jeroboam who ... "made an house of high places, and priests of the lowest of the people ..." 1K.12:31.  And like Israel, we will surely reap the consequences of our bad choices and self destructive bad behaviour plus what our, "lowest of the people" leaders have done to us.
A prestigious "house of high places" ruled over by "the lowest of the people" is what we have "made".

The "Semantics of Socialism" needs no more definition than what is happening to our own government and governments around the world ... RIGHT NOW.  They have spent their countries into a bottomless pit trying to appease their constituent sinners and build a socialistic Paradise similar to the Tower of Babel.   What they got was Semantic Confusion .  The Semantics of Socialism is, "We rob you blind for the good of mankind."  It is their national anthem.  They spew out the lie of pie in the sky bye and bye like manna from heaven and seven come eleven .... but what do we get?  Snake eyes!

Socialism is a loser's game.  EVERY nation which has taken a seat at that table has lost their shirt and britches too.  Like that other Tower of Babel, when they were bitten by that Confusion Bug, they were destined to run out of the people's money and the fallacy of a free brick Paradise turned to a pile of ... mud.   The simple truth is, that, even though a bad government may be a bit better than anarchy, "bad" is not what God authorized or wanted for us.  Socialism is an enigma ... free stuff at first but in the end it is a ponzie scheme in which everybody loses and nations fall into utter poverty. The function of one of those inverted, pyramid ponzi schemes is like a funnel pouring excess to the few at the receiving end and ponzi to the crowd of  poor pourers at the big open mouth.  If you did it, you would go to jail or into hiding; But gov. social planners and other con-artists do it all the time with impunity.  Your Social Security "contributions" were just <<<that. Those "contributions" were supposed to be "insurance premiums"  but they flowed, for years, through the gov. funnel into the pockets of minimal or non-contributors and gov. borrowing it for other social planning schemes. Now, you generous Americans under 60 will be "lucky" to ever get back a nickel out of that gaudy gov. slot machine.  And that's just one of Socialism's offspring. There are hundreds of other taxes.

The Semantic Mathematics of Socialism is, subtract money from producers, divide it between the government and the slothful non producers, add more taxes to the producers and then multiply debt and currency supply until the babel tower reaches heaven. It never succeeds, but reduces us all to the lowest common denominatorponzi of "Free Stuff".
Thus, the age old, old age, grandma & grandpa maxim, "They ain't no free lunch, somebody pays."
Taxpayers and churches would gladly take care of severely handicapped people and homeless children but we old folks had better have been frugal and planned for our retirement. We knew it was coming. I'm 80 but I'm not counting on Social Security to help me finish the race. Wallmart Greeter? Maybe.
God gave a simple, always effective, remedy for that part of human nature which says, "It's too much trouble to get a job and work when I can get a free living from "the Government".  The verse says,
"...This we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.... There are some who walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies." 2Thess.3:10-12.

Pass it on. RB
