Is It Possible Demons Could Inhabit Robots

Common Sense Commentary: Don't underestimate the Devil. As Lucifer, an Archangel, he had a free will with which he even sought to undermine God and take over the Great White Throne of his Creator. Cast out into the Earth, he was given power to occupy The Garden Of Eden. There he had power to tempt Adam and Eve, who also had a free will,  and he succeeded in causing their fall. Even after Lucifer's banishment from heaven, in Earth, he has power to continue his war with God and to tempt those God created in His own image. This war of the ages has continued from before time, in heaven even to this day. God allowed Lucifer the power to return into the presence of God to accuse Job. "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face." Job 1:6-11.

So, God put Job to the test, to prove Satan a liar, and Job a faithful worshiper of God. Satan already had the power to tempt and try people, including God's own servant Job. But God has a hedge of protection around his people which Satan cannot violate without God allowing it. Within that hedge, or wall, God's people breath freely the air of freedom in Christ. Outside that wall Satan is within his element and has free range to maul, rend and devour, limited only by God's boundary lines and permissive will. This is what the Apostle Peter warned about in 1 Peter 5:8 ..."Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

So, obviously, Satan has been allowed, by God, almost free range in this sinful world,  outside of God's personal protection, as with Job. Every Christian, before they were saved, was exposed to the wiles, trials and attacks by the Devil, limited only by the will and purpose of God. Never the less, within Satan's area of authority, he is called, "The Prince of the Power of the air."
This word "air" is the Greek word "aer" and means "atmosphere", not oxygen. The entire text is in Eph.2:1-5..."And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air (atmosphere), the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Satan's present realm, in his battle against righteousness, the God of righteousness and the people of God, is the atmosphere over the entire world, restricted only by God's will and purpose. The text continues...Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved.... Eph.2:1-5.

Now, my question is this; Is it possible Demons could inhabit robots? We know they can inhabit humans (Acts 19:13-16), animals (Matt.8:28-32) and places (Eph.2:2).  Could they not, then, inhabit things ... like futuristic robots which will far exceed human knowledge and even intelligence? Especially considering the technology which uses not only hi-tech hardware, software and electricity but adds human organisms as well. This scenario could also play into the mysterious image of the beast which had no life but was "given life" and the ability to '...speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image ... should be killed." This sounds like something created by man such as a robot with a super computer for a brain, that can speak and give executive orders of execution.
"And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." Rev.13:15.

The final battle in the war of the Ages between God and the Devil....

"And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue ArmageddonAnd the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air (atmosphere); and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is doneAnd there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath." Rev.16:16-19.

The End of Humanity?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) could be the end of humanity.

Or so world-renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking warned this week. He believes that AI would have the ability to learn and adapt at a far faster rate than humans....

Even Elon Musk, chief executive of Space X, warns that AI is “our biggest existential threat.”

While true AI is still likely to be decades away, we are already seeing a rise in robots being used to replace humans in many jobs.

Recently, Nestle added Pepper, a chatty android, to stores in Japan to sell its Nespresso brand coffee machines. The Swiss company will add the robot, which understands up to 80% of conversations, to 1,000 stores.

Pepper is already in 74 Softbank stores in Japan selling mobile phones.

The trend is growing as more stores and restaurants use robots to replace humans. A restaurant in China is using more than a dozen robots to cook and deliver food, while the noodle robot can make twice as many noodles as a human chef and costs less than half the human chef. Jeff Opdyke has encountered self-service machines at a McDonald’s in Madrid, Spain. Farms are also adding more robots to milk cows and monitor their output.

The technological revolution grinds on with robots snatching up the jobs we quickly overlook or take for granted. Combined with the movement to increase minimum wage, robots are going to make it harder for many people to find jobs. To survive, this large, unemployed workforce will keep pressure on government programs, which are run by an already deeply indebted government.

America’s fragile economy still has to face a Fed poised to raise interest rates. The threat of rising unemployment could further hinder our recovery. That’s why it is critical for you to be aware of growth overseas as well as at home.

World Renowned Theoretical Physicist
Says AI May Take On A Mind Of Its Own

Hawking’s warning came in response to a question about the new typing technology used in the computer that allows him to speak, which predicts the words he is going to use, the BBC reported.

Stephen Hawking has warned about the dangers of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in the past — writing in The Independent with a group of leading scientists in May of this year to warn that humanity might not be taking the threat seriously enough.

“Whereas the short-term impact of AI depends on who controls it, the long-term impact depends on whether it can be controlled at all,” they wrote in May. “All of us should ask ourselves what we can do now to improve the chances of reaping the benefits and avoiding the risks.”
