After it gets worse!
You see, it is hard times which builds endurance.
"Tribulation worketh patience" Rom.5:3
Not much is learned in easy times.
It has always been pain and suffering which builds mussel in our bodies and spiritual growth in our spirits.
"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." 1 Peter 5:10.
Since the very beginning "the God of all grace" had it in his heart to "call us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus" and to then "make us perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us".
So we have had that glorious promise since before the beginning of time, that He would "make us perfect" .... but only "after we have suffered awhile". So His promise of our perfection is signed and sealed in Christ's blood that we shall become Perfect, but only "after we have suffered awhile" in our life's journey, in this world.
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2.
Yes, beloved, it is going to get better ... after we have suffered awhile. So "Look up for your redemption draweth nigh." Luke 21:28
On God's calendar "All things are working together for good to those who love Him." Rom.8:28
