Lead who? Wild carnivorous beasts and maybe ... wild thoughtless parents.
Common Sense Commentary: I have known couples whose children possessed greater wisdom, logic and self-control than their parents. Honestly.
Isaiah prophesied of the very last days when Jesus returns to this earth and sets up His millennial kingdom. It will be a time of no sickness or death, but of peace and harmony as the Garden Of Eden must have been... before sin came. During that wonderful time Jesus sits upon the throne of Earth's government and, for a thousand years, leopards will even lie down with baby goats. Then, Isaiah says, "A little child shall lead them". "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch (Jesus) shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD .... The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." Isaiah 11:1-2 & 6
We must surely be nearing the time of that return of Christ to Earth. I see all sorts of prophecies coming to pass which were also prophesied, but in this post I am focusing on "A little child shall lead them". Of course, that prophecy is referring primarily to little children leading, or playing with carnivorous animals, but maybe it goes even further to the innocent, honest wisdom of little children advising ... their parents. Here is a video of a little child, wisely and un-presumptuously counselling her mother after hearing her divorced parents in a heated argument.
