Common Sense Commentary: The ability to communicate through words is a mysterious and powerful phenomenon in God's creation of humans.... created in His own image. His Word, Jesus, in John one, and His word in Genesis one, by which he spoke the worlds into existence, and then instructed us throughout the rest of His word... the entire bible, are wonderfully full of wonder. Words spoken are more blessed than their thought or more destructive than a bolt of lightening or a nuclear bomb. More lives, more homes, more churches and more nations have been blessed or cursed by words than any other single faculty or facility at man's command. Wars have been started, ended and avoided by words. A single phrase has cost kings their kingdom, nominees the Presidency, Congress or Supreme Court appointment. If Hillary loses the election, her deceptive and lying words will probably be the cause, not Bill, not Benghazi and not her corrupt, illegal Foundation. If Trump loses it will most certainly be his unbridled and thoughtless words, not his wealth, not his deal making, and not his crazy hair that costs him the Presidency. His words overshadow everything else he has ever done. A person's words can promote or demote, make or break them....

If you don't want some stupid thing you say or write, repeated, at some future critical moment, don't say it or write it down. How many lives have been ruined by idle or angry or stupid words repeated for the world to see long after they were spoken?

Just a few short decades ago, neither candidate would have ever had a chance with the American people. How far we have fallen, hooked like addicts on a moral compass gone awry.
