You, as a giver are responsible, as a Steward, to God who gave you the resources or the ability to gain resources. With that responsibility is included the necessity to be wise, prudent, practical and to learn how your donations and tithes are spent by the charity or church you give to. Giving money is, in fact, giving that part of your life which was required to gain that money, including your time, your talents, your labor and the personal sacrifice you invested in it. So when you give it or spend it, you are giving and spending yourself which is all you have to give. If your parents left you the money as an inheritance, you are giving their time, talents, labor, sacrifices. Ask God's leadership in your giving. He knows all the unknown details, good or bad. RB
