Why Half Of Evangelicals Are For Secular Trump... He's Ruthless With Competitors

And they think he is a man of ruthless action ... which he appears to be. But is he truly a Conservative Constitutionalist? Strangely, the polls show that 20 to 25 percent of Liberal Democrats are also for him. He will therefore probably win. But who knows what will happen between now and November?

Common Sense Commentary: The real question is ... what does God think and what will He do? THAT is what changes the entire scenario.

"Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward." Isa.1:4.

The Media Struggles With Trump And Religion

From U.S. News And World Report
By James Warren

So, yes, reporters chided Donald Trump for screwing up reference to "Two Corinthians" (as opposed to "Second Corinthians") the other day at Liberty University in Virginia. But the coverage reminds one of the blind spots the press tends to have with biblical literacy and a poor sense of history, notes Steve Waldman, who co-founded (since-sold) Beliefnet, which was a terrific website on religion. "When it comes to covering religion, reporters tend to veer between being overly cynical to being overly credulous...." he said. He finds Trump's own language when it comes to religion pretty humorous, as when he says he's got a "very great relationship with God." But dig deeper, Waldman notes, and you'll see botched coverage of his appeal to evangelicals, whom the mainstream press has categorized as very faithful to scripture and how candidates relate to scripture.... So how did the press miss the appeal to them of a thrice-married, potty-mouthed, anti-immigration rich guy from evil New York City? Maybe it involves a basic misunderstanding of evangelicals. My Commentary... RB
What the press is missing in the Evangelical/Trump enigmatic equation is how deeply affected these normally mild mannered, saints are, by the Liberal Socialist agenda now being carried out by the Democrat, Obama's "changes" of what was once Christian America.
True Evangelicals are true believers in our American, Christian Heritage and are sick, sick, sick of what the likes of Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Pelosi, Feinstein, the Clintons and Obama's and RINO Republicans have done to it. Its not that Evangelicals like Trump so much or relate to him personally. That half of Evangelicals who have gone off the deep end in support of the very secular, unpredictable, contradictory and amoral Trump are themselves an enigma of desperation. Their vocal support doesn't reflect approval of Trump's contradictory lifestyle or any great love for him personally, but rather, their absolute disdain for all Democrats and disgust with (RINO) establishment Republicans.

Cruz has, by far, a longer, better record of fighting the counterfeit Republicans and Left-wing Democrats, for Constitutional and Conservative causes. So much so, that both Democrats and RINO Republicans hate him and even prefer Trump to Cruz. So, why aren't Trump's Evangelical advocates for Cruz, the proven Conservative? Simply because Cruz neither looks nor acts as outraged and outrageous as Trump, about the mess Left-Wing Socialists have made of our country. Will Trump handle the mess better than Cruz? He may tear the guts out of the Washington Bureaucracy and fire everybody in sight, but he won't do it with the wisdom and knowledge of Cruz. Obama's "Executive Orders" have set a president which Trump will follow, for a better cause, but which Cruz would not do for Constitutional reasons. He will preserve the Constitution, not destroy it. You never hear trump defending our Constitution.

Then, there is this caveat. Fact is, neither Trump, Cruz nor anyone else can stop the down hill slide of our America. The momentum of national calamity has gathered up governments and economies world wide ... like an avalanche sweeping down a global mountain. The result, of which, will be a long series of one term Presidents, alternating between Democrat and Republican, because nobody but God can fix the damage already done. Only time, suffering and God's grace can get us through the dark valley ahead. But, believe it or not, I'm really an optimist about it all. Things are going to get better ... after they get worse. God is showing us that not an iota of our hope can be put in men, wealth, self, power or governments. The light I see is not at the end of the tunnel ... but above.  "...The Lamb  is the light thereof." Rev.21:23.

"He that cometh from  above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all." John 3:31.

"And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world." John 8:23.

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." Col.3:1-2.

Trump says he is a deal maker, but isn't that what we are tired of Establishment Republicans doing ... dealing away our rights and freedoms to the Democrats? RB

Both Ways

by Lloyd Marcus •  January 23, 2016

Some patriots say they will not vote for Cruz because he has alienated too many people in DC and will be unable to make deals. But wait a minute. You complained that Republicans do not stand up for We the People and make too many deals.
Well what do you think has alienated Cruz in DC? Cruz has faithfully stood up for We the People, unwilling to betray us with back room deals. You cannot have it both ways folks.
We finally have a true general and some suggest mutiny. I would rather fight side by side with our conservative version of Patton, Ted Cruz.
God bless,
Lloyd Marcus
